Amanda worked with me to help me get more flexibility in my knee. I had a knee replacement about a year ago and there’s been a buildup of scar tissue. This scar tissue has impacted me negatively. It was difficult for me to climb up and down stairs, ride a bike, and go hiking. Because of our work together, I am now able to do all of these with much improvement. I highly recommend Amanda‘s instruction, with her help I’ve become much more flexible.

What a phenomenal experience. I didn’t know what to expect. I went in with an open mind and left with an experience to remember. Highly recommend for friends, date night or teambuilding. The pace and the instruction is good for all levels, ages, shapes and sizes. I slept like a baby. Thank you Amanda, Erica and Ashley for your guidance and knowledge.

I love the Movement Temple. I always feel so good after attending a trapeze, melt , or a Mat Pilates class. My private sessions with Amanda have been very helpful with my lower back issues. I'm feeling stronger after each session.

I'm a 69 year old male and in reasonable condition for my age. I've been going to another gym for self training and cardio and was beginning to notice that I how stiff/tight in some areas of my body. I found Movement Temple's info card about trapeze yoga thought I'd give it a try for a more structured stretch training. They incorporate strength, balance, and stretching in the classes. The first class was very challenging only because I didn't understand the movements but I did like it. That was about 3 months ago, since then I've been going consistently 2 to 3 times per week. I have noticed small gains in flexibility and balance, Its going to take a while on my part. The class instructors change the routine so its never boring, challenging yes! They work with the students to help them succeed.

I love The Movement Temple! The studio is extremely clean and the owner, Amanda, has been a great communicator about classes and helping to find pilates buddies for me for Trio Sessions. Instructor Erica is amazing! After 1-2 trio sessions per week over the past 2 months, my body is feeling much healthier, and my posture is improving. With Erica, you have calm but movement-filled music, very clear instructions, and some humor (a must!)... Erica is such an AWESOME pilates instructor and the time flies by! Also, FYI: for a Pilates Trio Session, there must be at least 2 (max 3) attendees and you get so much attention to your body/movement/needs;, it's almost like having a private session but at the Trio Session price. Keep up the great work, The Movement Temple!

I went to a sound bath a couple weeks ago and loved the experience!! Super relaxing to lay in their comfortable hammocks, watch stars projected on the ceiling and hear a variety of soothing and meditative instruments played. The instructor was kind and welcoming and really knew what she was doing. Clean, bright, beautiful studio space too.

Highly recommend giving this place a try!

As a local business owner I’m very impressed with the movement temple. They’ve helped me deal with a shoulder injury using both gyro tonics and Pilates techniques. This company is on top of their game and I highly recommend them.

Amanda is truly an amazing instructor. She listens to her clients needs and helps them achieve their goals. In just a couple of sessions she was able to relieve the pain in my Achilles tendon; something PT couldn’t do in 3 months.

Amanda has been very good for me. I am doing things physically now that I have been unable to do. I go to the lobo basketball games and sit down near the floor which is about 70 steps down from the exit doors. Last Monday I walked all the way to the top without stopping to rest for the first time in 4 or 5 years. My balance is better and my back pain is reduced. Thank you Amanda.

I took a yoga swing/trapeze class with Amanda at the Movement Temple. She was incredibly knowledgeable about body mechanics and had attention to details for optimal alignment. I have a yoga trapeze imstalled at home and my goal was to learn what to do with it to improve strength and mobility. She showed me how to do many exercises, stretches, inversions, and she put it all together to make it a total body workout and long flow sequence, all with options to make it easier or harder. I've been an athlete/martial artist for 15+ years and was impressed with her teaching skills and constant adjustments for proper technique. She works with people of all skills and ages and has many tools and devices for different practices. The Movement Temple is a wonderful studio with reasonable pricing for services offered. Highly recommend!

Amanda is exceptional in her experience as an instructor. She uses various methods to give a full-body workout each session: pilates, yoga, gyrotonics, stretching, muscle releases… the list goes on! She is professional and genuinely kindhearted. Worth every minute and cent spent with her!

The Movement Temple is just that. A safe space where the movement Amanda teaches reminds us all that our bodies are precious temples.

I started with Amanda not really knowing what to expect. Gyrontincs has helped to rehabilitate me back into the professional ballet scene. In fact, the work that I did with her ultimately helped me to return the stage to dance the role of Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker 2023. I encourage any and all people to try it out!

Amanda, who IS the Movement Temple, is a generous teacher who works well with Pilates beginners. She is precise in describing the right position, in demonstrating the right position, in describing and demonstrating the right way again until I or you, the beginner catches on. She is very patient, always helpful. She studies my body and posture during each class so that she can help right the wrongs of a lifetime of bad posture. Amanda works me hard, works hard herself to get the most out of me. I have learned a tremendous amount about Pilates, and, even more importantly, about my physical self from her. I would consider her a master teacher, despite her youth."

Ms. Tan is a great teacher. A dancer herself, she helped me not only with adding flexibility to the joints but also awareness to my movements. This is helping me with my everyday activities and with horseback riding.

Amanda is an incredible instructor. She’s thoughtful, knowledgeable, and professional. She was so patient with me, as I was brand new to gyro. She’s wonderful at demonstrating and explaining movements clearly. I came to her with quite a few injuries and horrible posture. She helped improve all my issues!

I have been fortunate enough to work with Amanda for a few years. I started working with her after a knee and ankle injury I sustained from gymnastics. I had definitely bearing full weight on my knee walking down stairs amongst other issues. Working with Amanda through the Gyrotonics system I discovered the reason why I suffered the injury in the first place. I understood the connections of my injury through my other body parts and how to integrate my movement through Gyrotonics.
I was so impressed with the Gyrotonics movement system that with Amanda’s help I learned the gyrotonics and Gyrokenesis certification process.
Amanda is very skilled and integrative instructor. Her many years as a dancer brings an understanding of movement integration greatly aids her capacity to understand and work with people with any form of movement restriction.

I’m a middle-aged healthcare grants director, writer, horseback rider, and runner - gyrotonics with The Movement Temple has worked miracles for my low back, hips, alignment, and overall feeling of being at home in my body. Amanda is a patient, empathic, and knowledgeable teacher. I highly recommend her and her work!
