Best gym in Gallup. It has everything you need, a very friendly crowd and wowwie himself is a good man. Come support this gym it's not a big commercial gym like cowboy iron or anytime fitness. This is one of the only last true strong holds of a old school gym feel and still holds onto that gritty ambience. Please come support this gym and come pump some iron. Yes they have IRON plates!!!!

This is the no-frills kinda gym you look for when you just want to hit the weights and not be bothered. Itβs not one of those high-tech glamour palaces that corporate gyms have become, but if youβre in Gallup and looking for a place to keep your body strong (or to get it back), this is prolly the place for you.
They have daily and weekly passes, and great hours.
I showed up at 5 oβclock the first morning I was there, and there were others waiting to get in.

Man-oh-man! Did I need this gym bad! Had I known a coupla days earlier, my interior vibes woulda been a bit smoother and better. β Here at this finely equipped Gallup NM fitness center, I sweat up really good for a looong time! π
Clean, sanitized, well-organized and managed. Vending options and free filtered water fountain. With treadmills having a large internet-connected screen [πΊ], complete weight racks, smith racks, multiple machine variants, two heavy bags in a spacious corner, mirrors mirrors mirrors, and even one interesting βsolo-abβ machine I had never seen before. Wow! βWowieβ, this will be my go-to to go swole next time in Gallup!
Say hello to young Nathaniel at the desk. (A local boy studying business at University.) Heβs helpful and available to answer questions and show you around. β For a day pass, $10. Definitely worth it, yo!

They have everything youβd need for a good lift. Plenty of squat racks, benches, and machines of all kinds plus free weight, KBs and some CrossFit things. I never had to wait my turn to get a workout in. And the staff was always friendly

Even though I don't use a lot of machines because I prefer their crossfit in calisthetics area. The gym always has good amounts of available machines. And is not overly crowded even during busy hours. I go there because It's hours are the most friendly for my rotating schedule even though there are 2 closer gyms available to me.

This place will definitely have the equipment you need for a pump. Same gym Rocky trained to beat Clubber Lang. No drinking fountain, so make sure you bring a gallon.

Fellow meat-heads and gym-rats rejoice! An actual GYM that ENCOURAGES pushing your limits and slabbing on thicc slabs of sinewy/strainy, 'hey-look-at-me' MUSCLE! I've been training for 15+ years and over that time, the old days of iron and grit have unfortunately faded into the shadows as commercial 'fItNeSs ClUbS' discourage grunting and pushing ones limits as if its sub-human to train like the men and women did in the golden era of bodybuilding.
Not Wowies.
Endless amounts of free weights, barbells, dumbbells, etc. And for the crossfit folk: theres an entire back WAREHOUSE that caters to crossfit style Olympic lifting.
I love this gym. I love the motivation and encouragement I feel when I step through the doors. Newcomers that are fresh in the world of body building or seasoned veterans: do yourself a solid and spend a few days training here. It's like stepping back in time and training at Golds.

Came to Gallup on a work assignment & fell in love with Wowies Gym! Letβs be real... itβs a gym for real lifters~not an air conditioned pick up joint! Has every variety of machine you can think of including various cardio equipment. Weight ranges from old fashioned heavy iron plates/dumbbells to the lighter CrossFit type. (Yes thereβs a CrossFit area). They do offer WiFi but keep in mind the signal is not the best anywhere here in Gallup, but itβs decent & will keep your music or movies playing! Everyone has been especially nice. Wowie & his family are the best! They are very personable, make it a point of knowing each member by name, & never hesitate to help you out ... even hand walk elderly women to cardio equipment.
LOVE THIS PLACE.

I love this place when Im in town. I workout every where and this gym is the cleanest run gym I have EVER BEEN IN! They dont mess around. Masks over the nose. You get a rag and a spray bottle when you come in. You gel in and gel out (hand sanitizer). They remind patrons regularly that the only way the gym stay open is with everyone following the mandate. Plenty of equipment, space, and when you need a breather, they have a back door where you can take off your mask and stand in front of a huge fan with a mister. ππΌ

A clean and welcoming place to workout. They're continuously adding newer equipment to their gym. The owner makes it a point to talk everyone that is in his establishment.
They have post/pre workout goodies like protein shakes and Bang Bcca drinks.

The owner is very nice understanding seen some young guys work out here really motivates me to work out. There lacking in getting new equipment and the bathrooms don't have a shower so forth. Again some people are judgmental only go here when I need too.

This gym has a lot of free weights there along with machine weights as well and elliptical machines punching bag oh my gosh this gym has it all their owner while we is a very nice person and he also lifted weights himself and he also has his trophies up there he also give you tips when you first starting out on how to use the weights and he also does train as well one of the things that I like about this gym is that they offer non powdered smoothies which is really good because they use all kind of berries and bananas orange juice honey to go in the smoothies as well so I would say this would be a really nice gym to go to the fees are really minimal but the staff and the owner they're awesome

Weekend hours suck for the price. No water fountains. Very limited cleaning stations so equipment is dirty. No wifi access and you can't get signal. Ownership not flexible. Good amount of equipment, but nothing else is good.

Gym itself deserves at least 4 stars alot of equipment for crossfit, lifting, power training, strongman etc. However lately the gym has been unreliable on when it opens this is the second time in two weeks that Ive been there and it hasnt been open in the morning when it should be, very unprofessional.
