Started this gym over a month ago, it’s crowded yes, but it is also a good gym, people are friendly they might look rude or mean but once you start talking you’ll realize they are friendly. There’s also a punching bag / boxing area. It does have a little smell but people forget that we as people have body odor and so many people sweating the smell will be stronger and nastier. The down part is that on sundays there’s a chunky guy with curly hair working the front desk who always announces the gym is going to close at 5:45 pm turns off the music at 6:20 and starts telling people they only have 25 minutes left. Hello it’s 6:20 last time we checked y’all suppose to close at 7. Also he turns off the lights to the gym except for the back part where the dumbbells and bench pressing section is, like many have said before we pay a membership ... we don’t have to feel rushed or like we are being kicked out. I come here to work out. Only thing that would bother me is the club not being 24 hours even so I wouldn’t complain. It’s more like a neighborhood gym a lot of the members are familiar with each other for years. Some of these members don’t rerack and clean up behind themselves then want to complain. If you’re into working out I recommend it.

The staff is amazing they’re always helpful but other than that this gym really is the worse. Weights are always all over the place people walking around with equipment and hog them, the men’s locker room is the worse thing I’ve ever seen especially the price you pay a month the lockers are dirty and old and most of them are broken, I also pay the same price for New York sports club and that gym is so much more amazing, it’s definitely time for me to cancel and I hope everyone else does as well high way robbery.

Nice size gym but there is no place to put your gym bag due 90% of men lockers are clipped so you can’t lock your stuff. Also the gym lockers are very old not like the ones you see online. Gym can get very crowded and half the people will hog the machines. Is not bad or that great is an ok gym.

This gym needs a renovation on equipement and suana because whats the point of paying $30.00 and up for access to the gym if equipement is super old and the steal is dirty . Especially the weight lifting machines !! This gym is nothing like Planet fitness or blink its super clean !! 24 hour fitness charge expensive but no renovation and the gym classes suck they need to hire new gym teachers especially for zumba and the music sucks ! They also need to hire new gym trainers who are fit and also filled with motivation to train others I know where all human and we all go threw bad days but if you dont like your job quit ! They need new sale associates who will be more considerate and understand that if customer does not want a gym trainer to not call my phone on frequent offers or Bother customers when they step in when they trying to work out for there own behalf !! But yeah worst gym ever hope they update it !!!

The gym is always dirty even when it opens. The equipment is not maintained. When I first joined, a machine was broken for weeks before it was fixed. Today I noticed another machine was broken and asked the front desk staff what is the turnaround time for any equipment to be fixed. The staff member barely lifted his head and stated he wasn't aware that anything was broken. He never bothered to ask what equipment was broken.So my conclusion is that there isn't a log to record equipment malfunctions so it will remain broken. This location is really not worth the price in dues .

If I could give it a negative 30 star rating I would. The place shouldn't be called a gym. Dumb bells are all over the place. Never re racked. It's hard to find a matching pair. The plates are also never organized. There's never paper or sanitary wipes to clean off the machines. There's always garbage all over the gym floors. There's never anybody cleaning the floors. I dont think the floors seem a mob in months. I've been there for about 3 weeks and the same machines have been broken from day 1. Let's not mention the a.c I dont think they own one. There's hole all over the sheet rock where the dumbbells supposed to be. The place stinks. The bathroom looks like a nightmare. Lockers are broken. There's never toilet paper the floors around the toilet area is always full of pee. The sauna stinks. They probable have never cleaned that either. Who ever is in charge of keeping the place cleaned should be fired admittedly. Or change the name of the gym to "stink and dirty fitness" this place needs major changes or members will start joining other gyms in the area....

Don't get confused by the name, this is not a 24hrs gym (closes at 11pm on week days and at 7pm on weekends) yes 7pm!!!! super early and they start announcing it since 5:50pm and every 10 to 15minutes after that (annoying)

This used to be a great gym when it was on Webster and Fordham. However, due to complaints by Best Buy I have to now, sacrifice my respiratory system. When you enter the gym on the concourse, you are immediately engulfed by the heat equivalent to the Sahara desert. Next, the gym air quality sucks. There is no air ventilation making me feel like I'm a Martian from the 90's version of total recall. To top it off the stench of moldy basement saturated the mucus lining of my nasal passage. I was sweating just standing stationary looking for a piece of equipment to use. The only positive thing I can say is the equipment is state of the art. Clap clap....please ventilate ASAP

If you don't have a membership, workout early when it opens in the morning as there's no one me watching the front desk. From the looks of it, they don't care about upgrading the place. The bathrooms are horrid and if you went to school in NYC, your school probably had better lockers than the rust laden boxes located here (only 70% are accessible).

1 star cuz I can wait for the bus indoors were it's warm. Another star cuz the membership let's me visit the other (much more) crappy 24hr gym in Kingsbridge which has a pool, sauna, and steam room (both locations were coincidentally previously a Bally's fitness).

I didn't become a member in this facility because the hot guy who first talked to me didn't want to show me around. If he would have continued the hole costumer service experience till the end, I probably would have sign for the $35 a month they wanted, and I would have not mind that the place used to be Bally's. But the mo**n decided to tossed me over to this girl who rather continued the tour in Spanish.
