I would not recommend anyone to go here. I had spoken to a manager over the phone about allowing me to come with a three day pass until I could renew my membership in which they told me that they’d assist me with that til I could renew it in a week. The two girls at the front refused my three day pass since I’ve already had a membership even after I spoke to the manager. When I asked to speak to the manager they lied and said they would be here tomorrow even though I had spoke over the phone in which they said he’d be there in an hour. I hope both women lose their jobs. They disrespected both me and my husband. My husband bought a new membership so I could go after and they kept going OH IM NOT SCANNING IT IS IT A GUEST PASS. OH YOU GOT A MEMBERSHIP FINALLY. Then told us they would get us kicked out of here all because my husband asked if there was anything else she needed from us. I will now me switching gyms.

Worst customer service, very dirty equipment, broken equipment. Poor cleaning conditions. Bathrooms keep dirty all day and with a disgusting smell. The never clean any of the equipments.
Poor lighting conditions. They charge to much and they never repair nothing in this gym.

I’ve had repeated issues long term with a front desk employee at this location he is an asian/ philippinian male wearing a hat that was at the front desk at around with another female staff member the time was 8:22 pm on 11/10/25 . I came in with my friend, who has a membership, and used his buddy pass — which is part of the membership benefit. When I told the staff member I’d be right back, he told us to leave and not return, with no explanation just yelling to get out.

This same employee has given me and others trouble for using buddy passes, even though that’s an official policy. Meanwhile, he lets other people in without any problem and sometimes for free. The inconsistency and attitude were really disappointing especially because this has been happening over the past couple months and even when we came in he was giving us a problem saying that it wasn't my friends membership and got proved wrong a couple minutes later.

There’s always an assortment of broken treadmills and there’s always someone’s trash and old paper towels stuffed into the cup holders. The phone trays on the stationary bikes are broken or missing. The tops of some of the older treadmills are missing. The newer treadmills are less wobbly and have fans, which is nice

The free weights, especially those in the 10-25 lb range, are very hard to find as they’re scattered all over the gym and never reorganized by staff

The TVs are all too small, broken or too dark to see anything — but they always manage to get Fox News on the working monitors

Like others, I’ve had issues with billing — they’ll auto charge you for personal training sessions even if you don’t actually record the session(s). Sometimes you get sick, or your trainer gets sick or isn’t available and you can’t meet up for a workout. Life happens. My trainer once had a family emergency and had to leave the country for a few weeks — doesn’t matter, 24 won’t pause your bill or reimburse you, even when they reopened during the pandemic. Tried to iron this out with the manager several times and they’re never around and never reached out later on. 24’s corporate offices will absolutely hound you with phone calls when they want money. They raised the monthly price in January 2024, too

All that being said, the gym is roomy, has lots of equipment and there’s plenty of parking despite the number of people parked there. They have protein products, drinks and workout accessories in the front. The location is convenient for me and with patience I can usually get to the weight machines I want to use

I find it to be crowded no matter the day or time I come (typically evenings and weekends). The parking lot is always crowded. I try to avoid the bathrooms here so I can’t speak to the cleanliness issues others have mentioned. The big windows are nice and offer a decent view

If you have a one year of membership they force you to continue with this membership charging your credit card.

They tell you to cancel your membership in the app but it’s a strategy to take your money. My son is in the Military and because of his commitment as a future officer can’t continue renewing it.

I’m being asking for a refund since several months.
They fired the manager at this gym because he refunded $ to another member that cancel his membership.

We are not the only ones having this situation. The only option here to stop this fraud is doing a lawsuit

I joined for a month to give this place a try and cancelled after 4-5 workouts. This gym is an absolute mess. Members generally don't break down or re-rack their weights, and apparently the staff never cleans them up either. The dumbbells are so disorganized that you often have to walk around all over just to find a matching set. There are also surprisingly few 10, 5 and 2.5 lb weights; in any decent gym, the supply of those is a given. Not recommended for anyone who knows their way around a gym. Finally, its dirty. The bathrooms are dirty, the machines are dirty.

This is a filthy gym I have spoke to the staff several times about the unsanitary conditions in the men’s bathroom. I have also made a complaints to their corporate office with no improvement. I was just there on Friday, August 15, 2025. The bathrooms were horrible again with the feces on the toilet and floor.

24 Hour Fitness is the best gym in the surrounding area. Location is in the heart of Nanuet, close to everything. They’ve got the best amenities: pool, spa, steam room and especially the sauna! Plus they are open 24 hours, no joke.

The staff is super helpful, very informative and available around the clock. One staff member in particular David, is always there and with a smile on! He’s very patient and has helped me with everything from understanding the best membership for my needs, changes to my personal training schedule and is always available for lifting advice.

I would highly recommend 24 Hour Fitness for anyone undecided in their gym commitment & David for their representative to help them with all their gym needs.

If you are looking for a gym where people use one pass to sneak in 10 people... this is a place for you!!
Oh, you want your locker room to smell like a toilet bowl after a double chocolate chunk cookie and a spicy burrito... sign up here!!
On top of that... the machines are always dirty, sweaty and weights are all over the place allowing for the optimal workout.

I could write a ton about this gym. Its cheap so that was the only positive. Imagine the bakery on Thanksgiving morning... this place is more packed than that! So over populated. Oh and the water fountain has been gross for a year. it sprayed 5% of the water into the bottle and the other 95% wherever it pleases. I doubt the filter has been changed as the water taste like i licked the NJ Transit bathroom floor.

Machines are always down, gym is crowded. The machines that do work are old. Was in between here and powerhouse and not even after a month in already canceling. This place sucks !!!!!!

The pool closes even when it's supposed to be open. For example, today, May 17, it closed at 4:30 because of a staff shortage.

I had a fantastic experience at 24 Hour Fitness in Nanuet! The club just received a brand-new cardio refresh, and the equipment is top-of-the-line—clean, modern, and always available, even during peak times.

One of the best parts about this location is that it’s open 24/7, which gives me the flexibility to work out whenever it fits my schedule. They also have great amenities including a full-sized basketball court and a pool, which is a huge plus.

Shoutout to Augustus, the manager—he’s incredibly helpful and always available when I need assistance or have questions. His professionalism and support make a big difference in the overall experience.

Highly recommend this location if you’re in the area and looking for a clean, spacious, and well-run gym!

I’ve been a member of 24 Hour Fitness Nanuet for over a year, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional! This Super-Sport gym at 5205 Fashion Dr, Nanuet, NY, truly stands out for its top-notch facilities, welcoming atmosphere, and dedicated staff.
The gym is massive, offering a huge array of state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, which means I never have to wait for a machine, even during peak hours. The indoor basketball court and heated pool are fantastic additions, perfect for mixing up my workouts with some fun activities like aqua fitness or a quick game of hoops. The group fitness classes are a highlight—Zumba, yoga, and high-intensity interval training are led by passionate instructors who make every session motivating and enjoyable. I’ve particularly enjoyed the aqua fitness classes when they’re available, as they’re a great low-impact option.
Cleanliness is a big deal for me, and 24 Hour Fitness Nanuet delivers. The locker rooms, gym floor, and equipment are consistently well-maintained, and I appreciate the members who help keep it tidy by returning weights and wiping down machines.
