Unlike many of my peers now in our 60s, I do not suffer from back or joint pain, and I continue to enjoy running, skiing, and other "youthful" activities. That's because I've been practicing Pilates regularly for over 5 years with Caroline at 3 Heart Movement. My family and I started practicing Pilates with Caroline in 2020 at the start of the pandemic, and we have continued those weekly sessions ever since. My core has never been stronger, and I have never been so flexible. In fact, my squat is now closer to the floor than ever before. While I dutifully do the cradles and curls to strengthen my core, I especially love the gyrokinesis, which keeps me flexible, both physically and mentally. Pilates with 3 Heart Movement has been the Fountain of Youth for me.

I can’t say enough good things about Caroline. She is an exemplary teacher, patient, intuitive, encouraging, thoughtful, and the most experienced and educated teacher I have had. The time flies by in our classes and I always wish we had an extra 30 minutes! I’ve had 5 spine surgeries, including 2 fusions (cervical and lumbar) and over the past 3 years working with Caroline, I’ve seen a marked increase in strength and flexibility and a significant decrease in pain that I hadn’t thought possible. Highly recommend.

I have been practicing with Caroline for over 3 years (1 year in person, then virtual for 2+). I have a herniated disc and chronic backpain. Caroline is a fantastic teacher whose focus is on alignment and tailoring the practice to the individual's unique physical condition. She goes above and beyond researching and providing information on how to better your body. She approaches physical training with the aim to improve the overall quality of your life as opposed to just your form or muscle strengthening which I appreciate greatly.
