My entire family has been a part of 5678 Dance for over 15 years, and I truly couldn’t imagine a better studio for my four children. 5678 Dance has been so much more than a place to take classes—it’s been a second home for all of us.

Jennifer Gass, the studio owner, has been like a second mom to my kids. She’s created an environment that fosters not just strong dancers, but confident, disciplined, and creative young people. Even after three of my kids have graduated, they still come back to the studio to work and teach—that’s how much this place means to them.

The friendships my kids have built here are ones I know they’ll carry with them for life—and I’ve gained incredible friendships, too.
Being a dance mom at this studio has been a gift. The sense of community, support, and positivity that Ms. Jen has cultivated is something truly special. I’m forever grateful for all that 5678 Dance has given our family.

Ive been at this studio for 13 years and the friends I've made here are the best people in the world. The environment is so welcoming and everytime I walk in I feel apart of a family. I have improved so much because of all the wonderful teachers there. They do everything in their power to help us improve. I wouldn't be the dancer i am today if I didn't join their competition team. I'm so glad I found this studio and found my second home and my second family!

I love this place its my home away from home i am here 20 hours every week and i wouldn’t trade it for the world. I made so many new lifelong friends here and have made so many memories that I have laughed and cried looking back at it. The teachers are amazing too and so welcoming it is the most family-friendly, loving, and comforting place ever!! Definitely sign up your kid here.

My 9 year old has been a member of this dance school for the past 4 years. We initially had her in another school, however we switched her to 5678 as the first year was Covid and I saw how 5678 worked tirelessly to put together a safe performance! Her prior dance school did nothing. Been very happy with the switch!
My daughter loves dance and I hope she will be in it for the long haul!

Great for toddlers! My daughter has danced here for two years and Ms. Drea is the absolute best. She has the patience and the talent to get all the girls in her combo class to focus and enjoy themselves. I am shocked at how my daughter grew confidence and knew every step to her dances while on stage. The dance costumes for the littles are also age appropriate so you don’t have to worry about your 2-4 year old performing in a belly shirt.

Both of my children have been dancing at 5678 Dance for years now. This is the most AMAZING dance experience for any child as well as adult. The owner Jen is an amazing human who puts her students and families first always. We are like a family. Especially through the hard times like during covid, they offered hope and happiness as well as consistency for our children. During such a scary time it was a place where they had true happiness and comfort.

My eldest daughter is on the dance team and has made many friends as have I. We all look out for one another and besides being champions and winning, our kids are taught the meaning of teamwork and how hard work pays off.

I truly recommend this dance studio to anyone who is looking for an amazing dance studio. Our children are so happy and excited to be a part of the 5678 Dance family and I highly suggest you give it a try! You won’t be disappointed! There are so many different types of classes and all of the instructors are amazing at their craft. My daughters have become and continue to grow into beautiful little dancers. We have been part of the 5678 family for over 10 years and I am so thankful for all they do for the kids. My son entered as a shy, nervous kid and they helped him develop into a confident young man. My daughter has flourished over the years. As part of competition team she is taught not only how to be a good dancer but also how to be a good teammate, good friend and good sport. My daughter has just finished her 1st year of competition dance. I have watched her grow so much as a dancer this year. I saw the difference after watching the same dance performed at Regionals in April and then again at Nationals in July. I'm excited to see how far she will go under the instructions of the fabulous staff at 5678 Dance.

Love the yoga class on Thursdays with Miss Geri! My favorite aspect is that at the beginning of each class she asks how we are feeling and tailors the practice to our responses. It really is wonderful to know that after a difficult week I will have an hour of respite, either in a heated practice with lots of movement, or maybe a softer one that offers me the relaxation I need. This studio has become my happy place! Also happy to note that they take great measures to clean and disinfect after each class!!!

5678 has made such an impact on my daughter it bings tears to my eyes. When tbey say they are a family they mean with all there hearts. We thought because of covid classes would be canceled but 5678 refuse to let it get them down and continued online. We thought tbey would have no recital and they gave us a recital . They really did such a great job!! If you are looking for a family oriented and puts your child first 5678 is your place !!!!!

I can't say enough good things about 5678 Dance! Not only are the prices fair and the value excellent, but to me what sets them apart is how much they care about all the students. I have never seen another business that invests so much in each child. Ms. Jen, the owner, treats each child like they are her own, and in this year where everything came to a halt, she never failed her students. Within the first week of mandatory Covid closures she had set up online classes and extended the season so that the kids could have their recital once the Covid restrictions had loosened up. She always makes herself available. The teachers are great, and my children always tell me how their dance teachers are their favorite teachers. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking to put their children in an extracurricular activity!

We LOVE 5678 and I am grateful that we chose to be part of your dance family. I knew nothing about 5678 other than their long standing in my community; if dance were to stay in our future I needed assurance that they were here to stay ! My granddaughter started dance at age 4, she transitioned, but we did have a few hiccups. Just yesterday she celebrated her 6th year and her growth has been tremendous. She blossomed into a confident dancer, amongst her 5678 FAMILY. She is supported by nurturing and professional staff, has some amazing friends and some lovely and talented teen dancers who are wonderful mentors and role models. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ms. Jen and everyone at 5678 dance. This was my daughter’s first experience in a class away from us (she was 3 when she started) and she was so nervous. She was welcomed with loving arms and so she never looked back. They all truly care about the kids and nothing has proved that more than the work that’s gone into keeping this going during a pandemic. My daughter has bloomed and took the stage with pride. My dance career started later in life, I was in 7th grade. When I went to sign up Jennifer Levine Gass convinced me to sign up for jazz, tap and ballet. I originally only went down there for hip hop but after Jen’s speech on how ballet will make me a stronger dancer in everything, I just agreed to take them all. Long story short, after one year & a lot of missed ballet classes (sorry about that!) I made my way to the competition team. Ms Jen and Ms Marilyn saw something in me I would have never saw in myself. With that being said, Jen never fails to find the beauty in everything, even in times like these. You never let anyone down & always find a way! Very honored you always ask me to come back to help at the recitals! Especially, recital 2020💕

If I could give 5678 Dance 10 stars I would have!! My 6 year old daughter had loved every minute of her combo Level 1 class. The staff at 5678, Ms. Jen and Ms. Drea, are amazing. If you are looking to join a family, then this is the place. The staff took excellent care of my daughter. Their patience and perseverance these last few months has been incredible. They created a sense of normalcy and a place to hang out for all of the dancers. I was crying during the recital watching my daughter perform on stage after all of her hard work all year. Thank you to the staff for creating a wonderful atmosphere for my daughter to learn the fundamentals of dance as well as making new friends in a safe environment. We will be at this studio for years to come!

5678 is a home away from home. My daughter started dancing there at 2 1/2 years old and still a part of the 5678 family 11 years later. Things changed a bit this year when the classes were unable to be held in the studio, but Miss Jen didn’t miss a beat. She immediately got her crew together to put ALL the classes on ZOOM and they continued practicing their dances. This was so important for their social emotional health. Once the studio reopened, there were major steps put in place to keep the dancers safe, while allowing them to enjoy each other’s company and their love of dance while finally practicing together again. We were not only able to have a virtual dress rehearsal, but an outdoor, socially distant recital to show off their hard work and dedication. Thank you Miss Jen and the most talented, caring teachers and staff around. So proud to be a part of 5678.

This place is amazing!!! The teachers there have instilled a passion for dance into my daughter. She’s read every book in the library about dance and practices morning, noon, and night; at home, the pool, block parties, waiting in line at target. We recently cerebrated our daughters1st birthday. I guess I'm going to be one of those Dance Moms. 10 years ago, my daughter was 5-years old and had been dancing for 3 years. She had to be persuaded every recital to go on stage and often cried when bringing her to class. By chance, while picking up pizza one night, I heard the music coming from 5678 Dance and was drawn to the studio. I remember standing in the lobby area and watching the teen-age dancers in amazement. Their energy, dedication, talent, skill and the unique and original choreography compelled me to sign up my daughter immediately hoping some day she would be one of those committed, talented dancers. 10 years later I am happy to say that little girl who wouldn’t go on stage her first dance recital is now one of those dancers and I am her proud mother. Within two months of joining 5678, Erin danced at Radio City Music Hall during a Lady Liberty Game with those same teen-age girls I had watched in the studio. Not once in her 10 years at 5678 has she complained about going to dance, even though she’s there almost every day, and we all know how difficult teenagers can be. 5678 is her second home and Ms. Jen is her second Mom for not only are the girls taught to dance, time is taken to teach the students to be ladies with values and respect for themselves and others which is something they don’t get outside of their homes. Jen and Marilyn truly care about the students’ well-being both in and outside of the studio. This time and care given to each student is apparent in the spectacular recital every year in which every dance is unique and every dancer knows their routine. In closing, I would like to give a sincere thank you to Ms. Jen, Ms. Marilyn and the other teachers at 5678 Dance for all you have contributed to the special person my daughter is today. I first walked through the doors of 5678 Dance in the Summer of 2006. Upon being warmly welcomed by both Miss Jennifer and Ms. Marilyn, i knew i would love being a student here. Miss Jenn gave me the chance to be on her competition team, and with that i was given the opportunity to perform and compete in numerous venues throughout the United States. As a student for five years, i developed a passion and commitment for dancing, as well as knowing what it meant to work hard and see the results that can come from it.

In 2011, after my first full year of living in New York City, practically living at Broadway Dance Center (because i couldn't live without some sort of dancing week to week) while being a full time student, I was asked if i would like to teach a class for the summer program. I was beyond ecstatic for the opportunity, and three summer programs and three recitals later i am still part of this ever growing family that i love beyond words. I pass down to my students not only fabulous dance technique that i have learned over the years, but many of the life and learning lessons that Miss Jenn has passed down to me.

Miss Jenn has also instilled her passion for the visual arts in me through her AMAZING choreography and i am beyond grateful for it. This is something that i carry with me everyday as i am studying fine and visual arts in college and something i will continue to work with and pass on to my students here at the greatest studio around, 5678 Dance.
