It’s been such a pleasure working with Lindsay the past couple of months. She’s so knowledgeable, kind, patient and encouraging. Not only is she an incredible trainer she’s also such a cool person and our fun chats made our workouts all the more enjoyable. Having started from basically zero, her program was approachable yet increasingly challenging as I gained strength and confidence. Because of her breadth of knowledge and well rounded background the program was never boring and I was always doing something new. By the 1.5 month mark I was doing exercises that I never thought I’d be able to do and actually enjoying them! I left every session feeling so strong. I cannot express enough how lucky I feel to have worked with Lindsay. I highly recommend her services! I also want to shoutout Jayson and Logan! I worked with them from time to time and they were also so incredible. Overall a great gym to begin your fitness journey no matter your goals 💜❤️🩷

5th Ave fitness is awesome. The trainers are patient, supportive and smart. The space is nice and you can request your favorite music! Sometimes a tailored environment is nicer than a large impersonal gym. The trainers really pay attention to individual needs and progress.

For over ten years, 5th Ave Fitness has been my absolute rock, my fitness sanctuary, and the cornerstone of my well-being. It's not just a gym; it's a personalized experience that has consistently exceeded my expectations.
What truly sets them apart is their remarkable ability to adapt. Whether I walk in feeling energized and ready to push my limits, or I'm dealing with a stressful week and need a more restorative session, the trainers *always* meet me where I am. They adjust the workout accordingly, ensuring I leave feeling better than when I arrived.
More importantly, they understand my body. Over the years, they've diligently tracked my progress, adjusted for injuries, and fine-tuned my routines to address my ever-evolving needs. This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach; it's truly individualized treatment goals, tailored to my specific circumstances and aspirations.
The trainers are not just knowledgeable; they're genuinely invested in my success. They're patient, encouraging, and possess a wealth of expertise that they readily share. They create a supportive and motivating environment that makes even the toughest workouts enjoyable.
After a decade, I can confidently say that I've added meaningful relationships with the trainers to my life, beyond my training. 5th Ave Fitness is more than just a training center; it's a partner in my health and wellness journey. If you're looking for a personalized, adaptable, and truly exceptional fitness experience, look no further. This place is a 5-star gem!

We love Travis and his team at 5th ave fitness. You won’t find a kinder, more knowledgeable, accommodating, cleaner gym in the neighborhood. My partner and I have been going 2x a week for the past year and we feel so much stronger both mentally and physically. I’m so glad we made this investment in ourselves as it’s been a net positive and it feels great to support a friendly local business. If you’re on the fence about personal training just try the intro pack before you commit, my guess is you’ll be inspired to continue. Also, for anyone worried about intense gym energy— this place doesn’t have this. Come as you are, all level of fitness welcome. So grateful we live nearby this neighborhood gym!!

I’ve been going here for many years along with my teenage kids and all three of us love it. Travis and his team are excellent, knowledgeable, fun and thoughtful.
The atmosphere is very welcoming and makes for a great space and environment to train.
I highly recommend here for oldies like me, or young ones like my kids and anywhere in between.

I've been coming to 5th Ave Fitness for around 6 months. It's different from other gyms/ studios I've seen in a really great way - the environment is extremely inviting/ non-intimidating, every single trainer I've worked with is kind, attentive, super knowledgable and cares a lot about your goals, and because they limit the number of clients+trainers in the gym at one time, it's never crowded and has a laid back vibe. I've gotten stronger (especially noticeable when I'm lifting more weight or doing better at the same move), learned a lot about strength workouts, and my body fat % has decreased too. As someone who hasn't always liked working out, I always look forward to sessions here, and because the trainers here are so versatile (and there's a ton of different equipment), workouts never get boring. If you're not a gym person or aren't sure whether you'll like personal training, you should still give 5th Ave Fitness a try, because I'm super confident you'll find workouts here tailored to your interests and goals! (:

I've been training at 5th Ave for over 4 years and I love it.
This place is different from a lot of other places I've been, so it's worth understanding that before you go. This is a boutique gym with a focus on personal training. I'm not a fitness buff -- I go to 5th Ave 1x / week to ensure I have at least one solid workout focused on strength training. The rest of the week I run, yoga, do workout classes or do strength training on my own with varying degrees of intensity/dedication.
The trainers are experienced and high-quality, but above all this place provides a great place to work out in a relaxed atmosphere with a sense of community.

I have been going to 5th Avenue Fitness for about three years, since shortly after having a cardiac ablation procedure for atrial fibrillation. Despite getting clearance from my doctors, I was a bit nervous about seriously pumping iron given my heart troubles. Yet, from the first, Travis and the other trainers at 5th Ave were great at getting me to feel comfortable and to work hard, but not get hurt. The atmosphere at the gym is low-key and the clientele diverse; there is no feeling of competitiveness, no macho air, the gym is just a pleasant place to be. I have gotten into great shape and I highly recommend the gym to anyone and everyone.

This place is a total gem! 5th Ave Fitness has been my fitness home for the past 9+ years. They are the most amazing, friendly team of trainers- it really does feel like a family. Their training program is so uniquely adaptive- they're so tuned in to how you're doing (physically AND mentally/emotionally- I am a huge fan of their culture and general positive outlook on fitness and the importance of what exercise should and shouldn't be!) and they switch things up throughout the hour rather than sticking to a predetermined program of machines. Their setup has you train with different trainers- such a great way to get in a totally different style of workout to keep things interesting and challenging. Their space has such a friendly, neighborhood vibe- and they really know what they're doing. The tough, rewarding hour always passes by very quickly and I leave every single time with a big smile. I used to dread the same old 9 exercise routine at Equinox with the same trainer day after day- 5th Ave Fitness keeps my soul happy and my body guessing with new trainers and approaches with each session. I love 5th Ave Fitness!!

Very knowledgeable staff that gear workouts to the individual. Have worked with Travis, Phil and Andy-- each one is great and comes at the workout with a different focus and perspective, but each gives you a workout that is all-encompassing-- endurance, flexibility and strength. All the trainers are friendly and very supportive; it's a great environment. Follow them on Instagram too!

After trying out a number of fitness studios I landed at 5th Ave Fitness and stuck around. I've been a client for over six years now and I couldn't ask for more. The trainers are approachable, diversely knowledgeable and mindful of their clients needs, abilities and goals. Besides offering 1-2-1 sessions, the studio offers some pretty cool and enjoyable small groups classes. Competitive pricing too!

I've been going here for the last 2 months and it's been great. Andy and Travis run a great place and the trainers there are all wonderful to work with. As an overweight former athlete it's been a great and supportive place to try and fight my way back into shape. They are good at pushing me just enough to get a big benefit while not killing me (too much!). My in-shape wife also has started going and is enjoying the variety of exercises and trainers as well. I'd highly recommend 5th Ave Fitness for anyone that needs some help getting into better shape.

I've been coming to 5th Avenue Fitness for almost 3 years... before that I had trained EVERYWHERE (Crunch, Equinox, private, you name it)... Travis & Andy have developed a great community. They work at your pace and it's not intimidating at all. Best yet, the costs are really competitive and reasonable, especially if you get a package. I genuinely look forward to my weekly workouts. I *heart* 5th Ave Fitness.
