We offer small group personal training for people of all backgrounds and fitness levels who want to live healthier, be stronger, and train optimally for their individual goals. Our programs are customized based on each client, and the small group setting helps make training more fun and affordable. TLDR: if you want to train in a great team across the board A-Team is for you!
I worked with A-Team for about a year and can’t recommend them enough. After not lifting for many years, I wanted some coaching to get back into it safely. I primarily worked with Adrian, who is is super knowledgeable, adaptable and patient, but had great experiences with the other coaches as well. Not only is the coaching great but the community of people who train with A-Team is also wonderful. Everyone is super encouraging and training together makes the workouts feel easy. I was lifting heavier than I expected! I stopped only because I had some life changes but hope to work with them again.

I worked with Adrian focusing on form on major compound lifts, and made great progress. I had a great experience working with Adrian and found training to be high quality, focused, and very educational. I came across Adrian's profile through a Google search when I first moved to New York and have been training with him for over a year now. I have worked with personal trainers in the past and have to say that Adrian is the most dedicated trainer I've worked with. He takes his job very seriously and is committed to helping you achieve your personal goals.

I appreciate Adrian's tailored approach to fitness goals - he does not push a "one size fits all" agenda and really works with you to figure out your personal goals and how you can achieve them. My goals have shifted multiple times throughout my time training, and Adrian has always been very flexible and supportive in adapting to those goals. I also really appreciate Adrian's focus on holistic health, wellness, and strength, as I've dealt with injuries in the past.

If you're looking for a trainer who listens, who cares about your goals and will go above & beyond then Adrian is your guy!

As a virtual client, Adrian helped me set my fitness goals and then designed a plan around my needs. He made sure to find out what workout equipment I have access to and used that info to tailor into a comprehensive workout plan.

Since he can't help me train in person, Adrian recorded himself going through the exercises and really explained both the how & why of each exercise. I feel like I have a much better sense of my body and what I can do to help it improve and grow stronger. And this is coming from someone who used to aimlessly wander around the gym, not knowing what to do!

In just a month, the improvements to my hip & knee flexibility were significant. I could squat down further than I ever have and do so comfortably.

Adrian is incredibly patient, making sure to check in on my progress and providing constructive feedback that's easy to understand and incorporate into my workouts.

Adrian is very attentive and passionate about training. I had problems with my knees and everything is fine after a month of work together. Adrian gives attention to safety and focus a lot on stability exercise.

I don't like "push harder, sweat more" trainers. Feeling sore doesnt give you any health benefits. Training with Adrian well paced and nicely planned. He gives enough time to rest and do not overload.

I started working with Adrian after a referral from a close friend. I had recently started competing in triathlons, but wanted to get stronger along with all the cardio of swimming, biking, and running. Adrian designed a program that complemented that training, and in the months leading up to my race, went even further to modify our program into my heavy training and pre race taper. Adrian is a excellent trainer and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn about strength training and powerlifting. We’ve been training together for almost 2 years and everything about my form and strength has improved significantly. When I started, I knew next to nothing about lifting and could barely move the bar. I’d wander around the gym with little direction or structure and I’d never see results. Now, I not only have a clear idea of how to train, but I also see results in continually moving up in plates and breaking PRs.

I travel a lot for work (often with little notice) and Adrian is always flexible with finding times that work for both of us. He’ll often go above and beyond to check-in with me while I’m on the road - both to help hold me accountable and to help me adjust my training program to fit the limited set-ups of hotel gyms.

Adrian continually challenges me to improve and applies the same standards to himself as a trainer. He’s constantly reading, researching and learning about ways to tailor his training to his clients individual strengths, weak points, and injuries, so he can help each of us reach our goals. He genuinely cares about his craft and our success and its what sets him apart from other trainers I’ve seen and worked with.

My initial goal was to become “more fit,” but I had no idea where to start or what that meant for myself. Adrian’s guidance helped my goals become specific and measurable. Results met me in the mirror and on paper with continuous re-assessments. I believe what’s helped me the most has been the verbal and visual feedback I get throughout each session. Not only has it helped with our rapport, but with carrying over exercises from our weekly sessions to my daily workout regimen. Plus, Adrian’s pre and post natal certified which was a relief while I was pregnant. We continued our workouts with modifications to ensure safety for myself and the baby. Our program allowed me to stay active, strong and energized during my pregnancy. We continued our sessions postpartum with greater goals in sight.
