I had been into fitness for most of my adult life until I hit a peak and subsequently burned out in my early 40's. At that point I never wanted to see the inside of a gym again; I was bored with the self-directed routine and couldn't get myself motivated anymore.

One day a few years later, I checked out AHT's social media pages and thought "hey, that looks like fun." I tried a few classes and discovered I liked it! I have been a member for over a year and what I like the most is that the workouts are never the same - no time to get bored. There's a set amount of time on the clock then you move on to the next station. By the time you realize just how challenging a move can be, you're finished! The coaches offer so much encouragement as they help you find appropriate modifications to suit you if you're struggling with improper form, chronic pain/soreness, or mobility issues. It's still YOUR workout; the coaches are there to get you motivated through and performing at your very best!

I also recently started with a meal plan and my results have gotten even better. Just tell them what you're going for and they'll get you on the right track!

All around, the fitness and nutrition programs I'm following at AHT are exactly what I was looking for and definitely sustainable for the long term 🤩

AHT is an amazing gym full of amazing people & coaches. AHT gives you the confidence to step outside your comfort zone. I started with AHT in Camillus before the Auburn gym was open but then switched as I reside in Auburn. Both locations have an inviting fun atmosphere. Last year I signed up to do nutrition. It was challenging at first but once you start to see the changes and feel better it gets easier and you have daily support from your coach. I have a better relationship with food & combined with their strategically planned classes I have completely changed my body and feel healthy for the first time in a long time. I’ve gone to many different gyms that are great but none have given the support, push and results like AHT helps you achieve. I highly recommend checking out either location. ❤️🖤

I have been a member of AHT training for a few years and could not be happier. They offer personal training in a group setting. The programs are tailored to meet the needs of each individual regardless of experience. They concentrate on proper form to maximize the movement. I have lost over 50 lbs, and completed the Spartan beast in Killington twice. I have only seen my health improve over the years. The coaches and owners care deeply in seeing their members accomplish their personal goals. I could not recommend AHT any higher and am thankful to be a part of the amazing community they have created.

I have been a member of AHT since Sept of 2023, joining at age 60. I have always been athletic but never a gym member to speak of. My daughter had asked me several times to go with her to AHT and I always declined. We have all heard the phrase IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO START right? Well for myself, this is absolutely truth. I have never looked back since the day I walked in. The environment and the structure of the classes is something I never knew I needed. The coaches are top notch which stems from the ownership who want the best for their members. Coach Karl, from day one has been my biggest supporter other than my family. I spent previous years working out at home and just found it getting harder and harder to self-motivate myself. I don’t even know where to begin….I found AHT when I needed a serious take over, I was at a very low point in my life & I was instantly welcomed like I had been a member for years! The amount of support & drive from both the coaches & other members is out of this world!! My experience at AHT has been amazing. I had the privilege of being awarded the ECLIPSE scholarship and from the very beginning knew that this was going to be a great tool for me on my health journey. I like this place. I had never "worked out" before but I wanted to start. This is a place you can go to learn in confidence. Coaches Britt, Annie, and Heather are phenomenal at what they do.
A typical session is one hour, class setting, has a warm up and explains the exercises to come. 6 different stations, 50-90secs at each depending on the day, usually good for 4 rounds of stations every workout.
The environment is super clean(doesn't smell like a gym), friendly, and encouraging. Climate controlled gym, fancy Inbody scale, there are no changing rooms, and shoes are not required.

It’s hard to put the work in and show up, but when you find a place that shows you results are possible it gets easier to show up and put the work in. The workouts are incredible & are fit for any level. They help you every step of the way and are always their to answer any questions you may have. This is really an amazing and unique gym!
The focus on form first ensure I feel safe pushing myself to do more and lift heavier as the weeks progress. The nutrition and macros coaching has been a great complement to the AHT workouts. For someone who never felt comfortable walking into a gym, well that's an understatement here. They make you feel comfortable and welcomed and they know all their clients by their names. They assist each and every one of us in the gym with our format. They are not the type of coaches that are in your face pushing you. If an exercise is to difficult for someone to do, they have an alternative method to still help you workout. Signing up for the 21day challenge was the best thing I ever did. I'm get stronger each day I show up but I still have a long way to go. I couldn't thank the coaches @aht enough for helping me through my weight loss journey. This is a place to go to feel no judgment at all they will push you to do the best while making sure you are doing all exercises properly to reduce the chance of injuring yourself. I have been attending Achilles since the beginning of the month I already feel better physically and mentally. I’m not a huge fan of weights and gym classes but I wanted to try something different ! ( I am more cardio - spin ! ) and I love it - I feel very comfortable - the coaches are great ! It’s spotless ! I love Achilles Heel Training (AHT). I’ve tried every gym in Auburn and have found none of them suitable and comfortable. Since I joined it has been nothing but support from the coaches and the other AHT members. I’ve experienced growth both physically, and mentally. I stepped into AHT for the first time in September when they opened their Auburn location. I was so far out of shape, it made me nervous walking in. That first class HOOKED me.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday is strength training (Pillar). While incorporating barbells with specific movements, we are able to target specific muscle groups to build strength and gain muscle.
Tuesday and Thursday is a bootcamp style workout. High Intensity movements followed by short rests in between, it really gets your heart rate into overdrive.
Every class has left me dripping in sweat. I can see my body changing, it is super motivating!

If you’re looking for something different, something you’ve never done before, please consider giving AHT a try. Your first class is free, you truly have nothing to lose.

You’re going to get old. And it’s going to happen quick. Be sure to pack as much into your life as you can.

I truly can’t thank AHT enough. A few months back I started on this journey. I remember the first day I was so nervous walking in. I immediately was greeted with a warm welcome from friendly staff and other members. This isn’t just a gym. It’s a place for you to become better physically, mentally and have fun when doing it. There’s no fun in waking up at 5:15, but I can promise you will feel better after. The team there truly knows what they are doing and aren’t your typical “trainers”. They care about you and will push you like no other.

The past few years, life circumstances have caused me to become a person I no longer recognized in the mirror. I reached a point where I was ready to commit to something, to find me again. From the first moment I walked through AHT’s door, I felt welcomed. Every coach was there to help with form and encouragement. I’m sure I look way out of place at times, but they never make me feel that I am. They meet me where I am with the workouts by always helping with form, by offering modifications as needed, by encouraging me to push myself beyond the limits my mind places on me, and by reminding me it’s ok if I’m not at the same level as the person next to me. The important thing is we are there, and we are making a commitment to our health journey. In my short time at AHT, I finally see a way to get back to who I want to be and I couldn’t be happier. I have a journey ahead, but one that AHT has given me the self-confidence and motivation I need to accept the challenge and make my health a priority. Many thanks to each of the coaches for their support. Everyone has been amazing. I encourage anyone in a similar spot where I was at the beginning of this journey to walk through the doors at AHT (Auburn, Camillus, and/or Marcellus), and the coaches will take you from there… your health journey awaits!
