Adirondack Taekwondo was the perfect place for my son. Not only did he have a lot of fun and got more fit while there, he also learned many life lessons. The school emphasized learning how to be a good and respectful person as much as taekwondo which was very important to me. Master Yuhasz was originally a kindergarten teacher before he owned the taekwondo school and it shows in how great he is with the kids. We love Adirondack Taekwondo, Master Yuhasz and its instructors! Their focus on character-building as part of the curriculum is wonderful and has had a tremendous positive impact on our son. In addition, its new space at Impact Athletic Center is fantastic. We're now able to exercise on the track, or grab a bite to eat at the cafe, in the facility while our son attends class. There is also ample and comfortable space to sit outside the dojang and watch class on the TV monitor.

Our son was a student at Adirondack Taekwondo from second grade until seventh grade, when he earned his first degree Black Belt. My son (5 years old) took a trial class at another tkd school and did not want to return for even a second class. Master Yuhasz, the owner of ADK TKD took the time and patience to talk to, welcome, and reassure my son for his first class such that he was eager to return for a second class. He still loves it 9 months later. The class size is usually less than 20 kids with 2-3 instructors present as well as a leadership team helper so all the kids really get the attention they need. Master Yuhasz is the primary instructor for almost every class. The classes are well structured and the kids are taught Taekwondo as well as the tenants that go along with it like respect, self-control, and perseverance. In my opinion, the needs and goals of the students and families of this TKD school are respected and valued. We love and highly recommend ADK TKD.

My son took a trial class at two schools. He said the first school was okay. Two days later he took a class at Adirondack Taekwondo. When class was done, he quickly walked over to me and said I love it here! I want to go here! It is the best decision we made for our son.
