I have been working out at AE FIT 716 for 3 months and I am 110% satisfied with the programming, staff, facilities, community and overall vibe of the space. I began working with April and Shay 3.5 months after a c-section and they were able to adapt all exercises to my ability level as I healed. At this point there are basically no exercises I can't do and I feel MUCH stronger than when I began. I look forward to starting my day at AE FIT 3x per week. No matter your current fitness level, I HIGHLY recommend AE FIT for all.

I never thought I would be a person who would go to a trainer or the gym regularly. Working with April has changed that for me. Meeting other people who were passionate about exercise in an uplifting and positive way was so refreshing and life-changing. No matter your experience with exercise or training, from body builder to beginner, I think AE Fit 716 will work for you.

I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and sometimes my body issues make it challenging. Strength is important for me to be able to do my job and enjoy life. April is always able to modify workouts on the fly to accommodate any issues I am experiencing. She has helped me gain more stability and a better understanding of how to properly exercise.
April has helped me gain confidence in workouts and my body. Her attention to detail in every workout plan is obvious and done with care. Plus she will make you laugh and smile, even on the hardest of days!
The gym space is always super clean and the other clients are just as kind and welcoming as April. I recommend AE Fit 716 for anyone!! If you’ve never worked out a day or are training for a bodybuilding competition, this is the best place for you!!!!!

April is an incredible trainer. Her focus is on making you strong, fit and feel good in your body, not on the numbers on a scale. As a bigger woman, I always felt super intimated and unwelcome in fitness settings, but April makes me feel so welcome and capable. I have loved working with her in her small group training classes. I would highly highly recommend you check her amazing studio out!

April is an outstanding trainer. Her focus on semi-private classes tailored to each individual's capacity and goals creates an environment of joyful growth. She excels at providing a variety of exercises in a safe, clean, comfortable studio that is welcoming to all bodies and fitness levels. What I love about training with April Ersing:
- 3 years of solid gains, in confidence, functional strength, form, stability. AND looking better naked.
-April knows my strengths/weaknesses , and how to help me improve. She knows a million ways to accomplish a goal, work around an injury. It is NEVER the same workout twice!
-Feeling truly welcome, comfortable. I am a proudly masculine woman, gender queer. And I am confident I belong here (I’ve never felt that with any other trainer/gym). Being my full self makes a difference.
- Making new friends, appreciating watching others overcome their self limiting beliefs, encouraging each others growth.

April offers an impressive range of options in terms of type of class, level of intensity and modes to attend (livestream or in person). I wouldn't have thought I'd enjoy the livestream classes as much as I have, but they provide the accountability of showing up that you're never going to get from youtube workouts. The small classes allow for a good amount of individual attention to form and motivation. And her playlists can't be beat!

I started training with April in September of 2020 and I am STILL , both individually, and Upper Body Shred, which I adore. Best trainer I've ever worked with, no two workouts are alike, always effective- and she's so knowledgable, she can change options on the fly. Individual sessions are oriented to YOUR needs, goals, limitations of the moment (injuries) with variety built in. She is kind, warm, encouraging, and excellent communicator, and she has a great sense of humor. I am gaining functionally useful strength AND looking better naked :-).

Attending classes and trainings with April the past 6 months have been incredible. She has created a wonderful environment where you feel welcomed, comfortable, challenged, and motivated. I couldn't be happier with the Leg Day Workshop Series that I took with April at AE Fit 716. Not only did I learn how to structure different types of leg day workouts, but I learned how to superset exercises with purpose and build mini circuits into my lower body strength endurance workouts. The information that I learned from April has helped me structure my upper body workouts differently, too. After the workshop was over April provided me with three months worth of a variety of leg day workouts that I have absolutely loved, and I am amazed at how quickly I am seeing visual and strength gains. I am so grateful for April sharing her knowledge with me, and I feel that the workshop gave me a level of confidence in the gym that I was previously lacking. April has also been a great resource since the workshop ended-- whenever I have questions she responds right away and she sends me bonus workouts that she thinks I will like. The Leg Day Workshop Series and April's continued support has been invaluable to me, and I can't wait to take another workshop series at AE Fit 716!

When our former gym shut down for what would turn out to be forever just over a eighteen months ago, April Ersing didn't sit still. She immediately pivoted and began doing virtual classes.
Candidly, that wasn't my thing at the time. But it kept her corner of the community together and when she started organizing in-person, outdoor classes in the park in July of 2020, I happily showed up.
And when, just a few weeks later, she announced she was opening a gym in the city (when our former gym had simply quit on all of us and fled to Orchard Park), I was all-in.
Despite having to again retreat to our homes in November of 2020 - with April again conducting a masterful pivot to virtual classes - I've never been more fit, stronger or more happy with how I feel as a person and as an athlete.
Now, a year later, this growing community of fitness enthusiasts that I sweat with 5 days a week (outdoors, in person or over Zoom) - plus April's themed classes (80's, Rocky IV, Pal-entine's Day, Easter Eggs-ersize, April's Favorite Things, Sweat-speare in Delaware Park) - is a wellspring of positivity and enthusiasm in what has been a very challenging (and at times very dark) time for all of us.
As a coach and as a person, April cares deeply, challenges directly and is candid, compassionate and fiercely supportive of her clients.
