I cannot say enough good things about Agosto Fitness! The gym itself is spacious, modern, and clean. Garret and Akil are great trainers who are personable, professional, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. They treat your goals like their own and genuinely care about helping their clients reach them. They create a very comfortable environment regardless of your fitness level and they challenge you appropriately. They also do a fantastic job of creating a sense of community and make working out fun. Overall, they tailor their approach to each individual client and do not take a one size fits all approach which has been invaluable to my success in meeting my goals and prioritizing health. The personal training sessions conducted at Agosto Fitness are phenomenal. Garret Agosto offered a free consultation and listened to what my goals were. He asked pertinent questions and devised a weight training and nutrition program specific to my needs. During personal training sessions, Garret not only ensures proper technique, but also provides fitness education and ongoing motivation. At Agosto Fitness, the variation in exercises for specific muscle groups keeps weight training unpredictable, challenging and fun! In addition, Garret provides what I refer to as “subtle accountability” to help keep me on track and ensure my personal goals are met.

Absolutely recommend this place. I was very nervous about a trainer because I thought it would be a drill sergeant or a college kid working part time, but Garret and Akil are very knowledgeable and tailor their approach to each person and their needs. I can't say enough about Agosto Fitness. I began training with Garret in 2017, shortly after I had retired and turned 60. I was very familiar with weight training and had always enjoyed it, but I had never worked with a trainer, nor had I ever experienced such positive results before.
In the past five years, I have seen Garret work with all age groups and levels of experience. He is always respectful of each client's goals and meets everyone where they are at. Garret's knowledge of fitness and nutrition is very apparent. He has an innate ability to know when to push me a little harder or to hold back. After my first year of training with Garret, three times weekly, for just one-half hour and following a few of his suggestions, I lost the stubborn weight I had slowly gained since my 40’s and toned my body so that I was able to proudly walk down the aisle and dance with my son at his 2018 wedding.

Great place for workout studio! Garret and Akil are terrific personal trainers. They’re both personable and professional and focus on your fitness goals, dietary goals, and positive well being. I started working out with Garret in November of 2011 and have not stopped. My goals have changed and I have had two children and still continued to workout during those pregnancies and after. Garret is knowledgeable, consistent, knows when to push and a good person.. If you are looking for a program geared towards you and individual attention this is your place. My eldest daughter (high school athlete) now also attends with Akil and loves it and I feel the strength training has helped her in her sport and prevent injuries . I would highly recommend Agosto Fitness and would not go anywhere else.

When you walk in the door at Agosto Fitness you will find a very friendly and welcoming environment. I have been working out there for several months and have lost fat and gained muscle. My clothes are fitting better and I can see the changes in my body. Garret not only gives you great workouts but he also provides nutritional guidance to help you reach your goals. All of his programs are geared towards each individual and their goals, nothing is cookie cutter. If you are new at weight training and don't know where to start I recommend Agosto fitness. I gained a lot of weight after moving back from Atlanta last year so I signed up for some classes with Garrett at the end of last year. Everything that I gained has been lost AND Garrett has introduced me to weightlifting and other gym techniques that I’ve never done before. With his help, I will be reaching my goal by summer. I HIGHLY recommend signing up for Agosto Fitness. There are NO scams here, NO money hungry trainers and Garrett actually helps you with diet and food intake as well! When I started my search for personal trainers I was met with many expensive options, many of which never even got back to me. Garett was quick to respond and we were able to start meeting immediately. During my 5 months with him I have seen great results, and have felt incredibly comfortable, having not worked out much before. The studio is well equipped but not too loud or overwhelming, and Garett himself is a great instructor.

I have started workout programs in the past only to be waylaid by injury. The bad form you use when your younger isn't as forgiving as you get older. Garret keeps my form correct and after a year and a half I've gone down several pant sizes while maintaining the same weight. His macro program works. I won't give this up!

I wanted to share where I go for Personal Training Agosto Fitness is the place to be! I can't say enough good things about Garret Agosto! He has done so much in a year and a half for me lost over 25 pounds plus went down in body fat. Its like night and day how I look and feel physically! I eat healthy I do cardio seven days a week for a half hour a day two hours of week of personal training.and follow what I eat daily on Myfitnesspal and drink about a gallon to gallon a a half of water day. I gave up on Starches, Grains Gluten sweets and I feel physically the best I have ever felt. Garret is very supportive, helpful and I can not say enough good things about Garret and Agosto Fitness. I have been training at Agosto Fitness for a few months now and have seen fantastic results. Garret builds an individual plan, both diet and exercise, for each person to help them achieve their own specific goals. He is incredibly encouraging and positive throughout your training and makes you feel very comfortable in the studio. Each session is customized to the individual person and can be adjusted based on how your body is feeling that day.
If I could give Agosto Fitness more than 5 stars, I would. I actually enjoy working out now (and getting healthier by extension) and I used to completely dread it.

I have been going to Agosto Fitness for a while. I have been to other trainers before but Garret's training is in its own league. He takes a more holistic approach to fitness. He understands the value of weight training, mental health, AND diet. Garret is committed to helping me (and other clients) get healthy via exercise (both inside and outside the studio) and by encouraging us to eat more whole foods.
He writes up specific diets catered to each client's goals (weight loss, bulking, maintenance, controlling health issues such as diabetes, etc). He checks in to see how I am doing in general to see if he can offer a different workout that day to help in some way (eg. boxing for that session to get your stress out). When I get injured (which I seem to be gifted in doing), he works around them to ensure I still get effective workouts in the studio. You may hate him when you are doing what feels like the 115th deadlift but you will (ok...might) love him later when your body starts to feel stronger.
Garret is different from others because he is not just your trainer. He is also your partner/coach in achieving a better you - healthier in body and mind.
