I started training with Mike at Apex 2 years ago bc I wanted a small gym atmosphere that offered personal training and group classes. Apex has exceeded my expectations! The private training sessions are great if you have specific goals or are working around any injuries. Mike is thoughtful and committed to my progress while motivating me to try new things. The group classes are very inclusive to all fitness levels, and Mike puts a lot of effort into rotating routines so it never gets boring. Not only do I feel a lot stronger, but I also always look forward to working out.

I have been doing HIIT training sessions at Apex Fitness for 2 years now. I really enjoy the intimate setting workouts in a small group or 1 on 1 trainings with Michael. Over the 2 years Micheal has helped me get in great shape, but I’m most impressed with how he’s cured my sciatic pain by strengthening my lower back and glutes.
I recommend Apex to everyone. Micheal’s amazing, he takes everything into account when tailoring a program that will work best for you. Age, gender, goals etc. & is extremely knowledgeable.

Mike is an exceptional personal trainer!

I've been working with Mike since March 2022, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made. Each workout is carefully tailored to my specific needs, keeping things both challenging and engaging, so I never feel bored. The gym space is always spotless, which adds to the overall positive experience.

In the fall of 2023, I had back surgery, and Mike has been absolutely invaluable in my recovery process. His expertise has not only helped me regain my strength but also ensured I’m working safely to prevent re-injury. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to complete a 100-mile hike this summer without any issues! I felt well-prepared and truly enjoyed the experience.

One of the greatest things I've gained from working with Mike is learning how to listen to my body. He has taught me to be mindful of my movement patterns, both in and outside the gym, which has made a huge difference in my everyday life.

I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to improve their fitness and overall health. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, training for a goal, or just want to get in better shape, Mike will help you get there!

Cant recommend Apex Fitness enough. I have been training with Mike going on 4 months and the progress we have made is amazing. I starting training after I had lost a large amount of weight on my own, and wanted to begin working towards building muscle mass and finishing off the last of my bodyfat. He set me up with a workout routine, as well as a meal plan that worked perfectly with my schedule, and predicted a 1-2LB per week loss. 13 weeks in and I am 22 pounds down with visible muscle mass. Not only is Mike highly educated in all aspects of fitness and nutrition, but he is excellent setting realistic goals and making workout routine/diet plan that works for your schedule and needs. I've also had knee issues from a lacrosse injury in school, and expressed interest with addressing and fixing it. As of now I have no knee pain and cant remember a time where my knees have been this strong. Extremely professional environment, great equipment, honestly cant think of anything that could be improved on. Its fair to say I would recommend him to anyone looking to better themselves and their lifestyle.

I struggled to start and stick with any type of workout regimen over the years. I reached out to Mike, who took the time to sign me up for the membership that was best for me. He puts noticeable effort into the variety of exercises incorporated into his private and semi -private classes. This ensures a total body workout that doesn't get boring. The small classes allow Mike to help everyone with their form and provide modified exercises if needed, which is great for beginners. It is so rare to find an expert like Michael to train with. His knowledge, professionalism and compassion have gone beyond my high expectations. I’m in month 3 and not only feel stronger, leaner and more defined but the mirror, clothes and scale agree. At 52, I didn’t think I could get my body “back”. I was wrong. Michael is on top of what’s new, what works and what’s b.s. I’m in awe of the equipment he’s invested in and his ability to create workouts no matter how lofty your goals. He respects your limits and always has a way to break through barriers whether a mindset or injury recovery issue. The members he attracts are all super cool. Love my Apex community! I have been training with Mike at Apex for about 2 months now. Mike creates a warm and safe environment - especially for those who are not comfortable in your standard gym
Environment. The classes are kept small and intimate, with attention to detail. Everyone else I met has also been super supportive and kind. Mike has a super positive attitude and zen demeanor which makes training that much easier and really makes me look forward to working out! He provides feedback in the moment, corrects you on form, and suggests adjustments if a specific exercise is not quite your speed. I have noticed changes in my energy level, strength, and overall physique since joining Apex. A perfect gym To train at for those who don’t like gym atmosphere!

Been dealing with back pain for a few years and was not successful fixing it on my own. I started working with Mike from Apex Fitness and the results were noticeable right away. After a month I am virtually pain free and feel a lot stronger. Our workouts are challenging and targeted to what I need. The gym space is great for one-on-one sessions and small group workouts.

I highly recommend going to Apex Fitness to get yourself into shape. Mike is really knowledgeable and will take the time to understand your goals. He can help. Five stars.

I’ve been training at Apex since October and I have already lost 20 lbs. Mike’s approach to training is to teach and uplift people rather than belittling someone for not knowing how to do a lift. He doesn’t just tell you what lifts to do, he breaks down what muscles you are working and why it matters. He also gives everyone the individual attention and coaching that they need to get the most out of their workout. Apex has a family feel as Mike likes to conduct monthly group activities outside of the traditional gym workout. There are also a lot of friendly completions that keeps things interesting. Apex is a great place to workout even if you are just beginning your fitness journey.

I recently spent 3 months in New York, and wanted to continue training while I was away from home. I found Apex Fitness, and have had a great experience. I’m definitely surprised how much I’ve been able to progress with my goals during this time, and I’ve seen huge improvements with my strength. Mike was very attentive to my goals and tailored workouts specifically to help me reach them. He was flexible with my schedule, and consistently on time and prepared. I never felt intimidated doing new exercises, and he was always patient helping me nail the correct form. I’ve been training at Apex fitness since September 2021! It has been a wonderful experience. I love the environment, very positive, great communication, Mike always make sure you are working on your form the right way! I have achieved some on my goals on a shorter time then what I thought it would take me. I have gained a lot of confidence about myself. I’ve been training with Mike for 3 or 4 months now and right from the first day I knew it was going to be a great experience. Mike is a total professional and a pleasure to work with. He really cares and has a deep knowledge of his profession. What I liked the most was that he was constantly asking me me what my goals were and would adjust workouts according to what I wanted to achieve rather than just doing what he thought was right. I’ve made great progress since I’ve been working with him, more than I expected. I would recommend this place to anyone that is interested. I was skeptical at first because I’m not a what you would call a “big gym person” but I’m so glad I did because my attitude has changed and I think it was Mikes professionalism and knowledge and all around caring about his customers that turned me around.

I absolutely love this gym. Mike's classes are fun and he always switches up the exercises so you're not doing the same exact thing over and over. He's there to educate you, guide you and, most importantly, support you to meet your goal. Over 8 months, I've toned up quite a bit, lost weight and feel healthier overall. Definitely recommend!

The classes he offers are the best, they arent too hard for beginners. Mike teaches you all the lifts and the right way to do them. There is no yelling or in your face training which I like. I started at Apex in February 2021 because I needed to work with a trainer who would help me get stronger without compromising my joints. Mike is super focused on proper form, and injury prevention, so I feel totally safe following his recommendations for exercises. I am always encouraged to push myself a little harder, but never at the expense of good form. I frequently go to Mike with various aches and pains, and he’s got no shortage of stretches, muscle rolling techniques or other methods to try. Highly recommend Mike and Apex Fitness!
