I adore this studio. The pay-what-you-can model is excellent and so is having mats/blocks/blankets supplied by the studio. All of the instructors I’ve had have been lovely. I do recommend getting there a bit prior to the session, just to settle in — it gets really crowded sometimes!

I’m impressed and pretty obsessed with this studio. It’s clean, sunny and large. All the teachers I’ve had so far are knowledgeable and prepared. I can’t say enough positive things about it - will continue to keep coming here!

Phenomenal yoga studio, great community and space. Wonderful teachers of all teaching styles. I recommend trying different classes and teachers to find the best fit for your practice. As its donation and walk-in based, I recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to secure a spot and a mat, especially if it's your first time here, since you need to sign a waiver,
It's generally a good practice to be a little early to any yoga class because arriving late can disrupt the teacher and other students.

Absolutely love this studio! The donation based model makes it extremely accessible. All teachers are knowledgeable and very thoughtful. I’ve been coming for a year and don’t ever plan on leaving! I would recommend it to anyone looking to do yoga — whether it’s their first time or a dedicated practitioner

If you have a strict late policy you should mention it on classpass. I couldn’t locate this place among all the other warehouses it’s surrounded by (not a nice area at all) and they didn’t let me in seconds past the start time.

Baby cobra became my happy place in nyc. the community, variety of classes, donation based system and overall vibe of the place is incredible. I really struggled to find people I connected with in the city until I found baby cobra. Sundays with Shane are always a sweaty delight. Eternally thankful for upside down club led by the inspiring francoise, who encouraged me to overcome injuries and fall in love with movement again. Nikki, Ricky, shae, and pearl for not only being excellent instructors, but bringing the most supportive energy to a space regardless of where you are at with your practice. If you’re feeling lost in the city, this is your sign!! Go check out this studio!! I wish I’d done it sooner:)

I really have come to treasure this place so much. The donation based model is a lifesaver because my income has been limited recently. I have been taking Logan’s classes mostly so far, and he definitely has a gift. The community is welcoming and the teachers are too. I have so much gratitude to the teachers, community, and person who created this studio for creating such a generous space

They do great work here. Favorite classes are Jackie’s, Tuesdays and Thursdays, but you really can’t go wrong with any. I like their particular emphasis on the meditative aspect of yoga and I always leave full of gratitude.

I just moved to Brooklyn in June. After I went to only one yoga class at this place, I know right away this will be my go to yoga studio. The teacher was amazing, the vibe was very laid back, you can do your own thing at your own pace. Definitely will sign up for a membership!

I’ve been going to Baby Cobra in Bushwick for over a year now and currently have a membership. I love how this studio is full of compassionate, dedicated teachers and is accessible to everyone through donation based classes and memberships that allows
everyone, including myself to finally have a regular yoga practice due to affordability. Always clean, friendly and quickly becoming a second home!

Beautiful space! So nice to have a sliding scale option in the area and a large space to spread out. I attended the sound bath vinyasa class last night and was blown away by the music. Will definitely be coming back and trying out other classes.

Went for a morning class at 8AM and it was just what I needed. They started off with a meditation and moved into a slow flow. It was a great mixture of strength and stretching.

The space was so lovely and is donation based so it’s very flexible as far as price goes. They have a ton of yoga mats for public use, along with the blankets and blocks.

Highly recommend!

I went recently for the first time for the sound workshop and really enjoyed it :) I couldn’t do some of the yoga and the teacher very much encouraged going at your own pace and the energy felt very laid back. It was a great recharge for me, as I work a pretty physically manual job, so I really wanted to decompress and felt this was the place. I’m definitely going back, highly recommend for anyone else.

As mentioned on Baby Cobra’s website, the average price of a yoga class in this neighborhood is $25+, and I can no longer go to the studios I love. Having an affordable option that doesn’t cut corners is a blessing — and the welcoming environment is an added bonus. I’ve been to two classes (Casey’s slow flow and Chauncie’s vinyasa) that were instructive, encouraging and restorative. Please support however you can!

I arrived 10 minutes early but it wasn't enough time to sign in. If this is your first time, you have to download a qr code scanner and scan the qr code to sign a waiver then you have to download venmo and create an account. Why dont they just include a link on their website to sign a waiver ahead of time?

The class that i took was candle lit vinyasa but the sequencing didn't make sense and it felt like I was in a beginners level class. The teacher asked if everyone was okay with getting hands-on adjustments, but she didn't give any... Why ask? At the end, there was a long awkward pause after namaste. We just sat there not sure whether class was over.

The space looks pretty, but I don't plan on returning.

I just came back from living in East/West Africa for the last 4 years and was looking for a yoga studio to continue my spiritual and yoga practices in NYC. After recently taking my first class, I knew that I found my sanctuary and safe space in this sun drenched studio filled with plants, musical instruments, amazing teachers, beautiful people and great vibes!

I’m a 40 years old and I was talking with my coworker about I’m working a lot and I don’t work out often. My lower back is a little mess and he told me about why don’t try with yoga. I was a little scare cause I don’t have experience but I tried and I love it. They don’t require experience. They didn’t push me and I tried to do as much as I could. This place is could with a tons of light and beautiful plants make the space peacefully. Teachers are awesome. Gonna go again and do my best. Thank u guys to offer me this possibility of change my life
