I think it’s important donation based studios exist, and I really enjoyed my class at Baby Cobra with Jen, the instructor. Really fun flows in the Vinyasa class that were engaging and made me sweat. I’ll certainly be back when I can!

Loose dogs running around everywhere before during and after class is nice in theory but disrespectful and unsanitary in practice. perhaps the dogs can be confined to a small area of the business to keep the studio clean and accessible for all? up to you. the last two teachers i encountered here were snotty and unwelcoming in their “greetings” upon entry. one young white male, one bilingual female who spoke spanish.

These are the some of the best yoga classes I've taken in the city. The fact that it's donation based shows the compassionate ethos of the owner. However, the studio gets way too hot in the summer and also can start to smell like sweaty feet. Perhaps invest in better ventilation, and some lavender or eucalyptus infused alcohol floor cleaner, and clean after each class. I'll be back when it's cooler out.

I am so grateful for this space. I am paycheck to paycheck at the moment and most Brooklyn yoga studios are inaccessible for me. Baby cobra has been a lifesaver for me. I am really grateful. It is such a generous space with very sweet teachers

I love Baby Cobra Yoga! The studio has a great vibe, people are super nice and classes are excellent and affordable. I never miss Geraldine’s class Thursdays at 7:30pm in Bushwick and 12pm in Williamsburg! Highly recommended!

Overall the studio is nice, clean and spacious with natural light coming through the roof windows and the area is quiet, so your practice is not disturbed with sirens and trucks. They have mats, blocks, mini towels and nice blankets. It is donation based and also on Classpass.
A cute small dog was present in the reception area (which is ok), but I didn't like that it was freely running into the yoga space (prior to the class) and all over my mat (I don't like to touch a stranger dog's footsteps with my forehead in the child pose). And the breed didn't look hypoallergenic one.
Also the vinyasa class (by Nikki) was the slowest I have ever been to in 7 years in NYC, we held each pose for at least 5 teacher's breaths (which equaled 10 mines, and i am a deep breather), it was opposite of flowy.
The worst thing- it started 5-7 min late but instead of finishing the class at 1pm as originally planned or offering the students who wanted to leave on time this opportunity by acknowledging that the class is running late, she kept going with the practice. I really had to go on time, so I felt very embarrassed to step over people to return my mat and blocks on their place, open the door and escape. I know it looks disrespectful I don't like that I was put in this position.

My favorite yoga spot! I’ve taken classes with most of the teachers now and they all have such a unique energy and bring so much to the classes. Feels like such a safe recharging spot.
