After giving birth to my son, I knew I needed to take working out more seriously—not only for my body, but for my mind as well. When I came across this studio in a Google search, I immediately had a good feeling about it. I was so excited for my consultation with Bridgette, and once I got my doctor’s approval to start exercising, I jumped right in—and I couldn’t be happier that I did.

The coaches here are truly amazing and empowering women. Their determination, encouragement, and accountability make showing up every day something I look forward to. They’ve created such a supportive, uplifting community that feels like family, and being part of it has been an absolute joy.

I’ve never stuck with a workout program in the past, but the coaches make it feel effortless and fun. Now, a year later, I’m stronger, more confident, and so grateful for the transformation I’ve experienced—inside and out. There’s no looking back!

As a mother who struggled with her body positivity postpartum, I made a promise to myself and with Bridgette and Meredith that I would work out before, during, and after my second pregnancy. I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant and look forward to my training sessions with these amazing women. I have never felt so strong, both physically and most importantly mentally than I do now. All of the Balanced Health and Fitness trainers are professional, knowledgeable, and I trust them wholeheartedly across my prenatal fitness journey. I've been a member of many gyms over the last 30 years and worked with many personal trainers, and Balanced Health is the BEST personal training on Long Island, and it's not even close. Honestly, Bridgette and Meredith are OUTSTANDING! They are the perfect combination of experience and professionalism. They know exactly how to push you to be your best, without you feeling any pressure. They have a great ability to relate to their clients from all walks of life in many different ways, in a way you don't find anywhere else. The atmosphere in the gym is exactly what anyone should want...a great mixture of friendly and family, while also motivating, courteous and professional. The gym is not too small, but not too big, and if you're considering any level of personal training, at a minimum you should come in for a consultation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I cannot rave enough about balanced health fitness. Bridgette and Meredith have been the most incredible set of trainers and genuine people I’ve ever met. I have never been a gym person and I knew I wanted to make a change. I knew Bridgette through my job, and just sitting down in the space with her for my consult, I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. After my first session, I knew that I would be coming back and that this would be a for sure thing. They took the time out of their days to talk to my doctor and make sure that I was fit enough to perform the plan they scheduled for me. This immaculate space to work out has left me feeling physically and mentally better. I am approaching year 5 of working with Bridgette, and I can attest (which I do frequently on my social media) that this work has changed my life. When I met Bridgette in 2019, I was overweight, overwhelmed and out of shape. Evidence attached. Yes, I do other workouts, but lifting has made a huge difference in my life. I always tell Bridgette that at the end of the day, it's functional fitness. I'm over 60, and while I'm not lifting to the degree of many of her other clients, I am so much stronger than I thought I could ever be. On top of which I know that lifting helps with bone density. Hopefully, I will be able to stave off any possibility of osteoporosis and never have to take meds for it. The studio is welcoming and supportive. It's got a Cheers atmosphere (IFYKYN). Wide age range, men and women. What she has built is special.

Bridgette and Meredith are so knowledgeable in everything fitness and want to give you the best experience. Bridgette and her team are the absolute best!!!!

I suffer from Fibromalgia and came to the realization that i needed to get some excercise in my life in order to feel better. I started training with Bridgette in October, 2022 based on positive feedback I read and recieved from friends. She listened to what i wanted to achieve and worked out a program for me to help me get there. Bridgette was aware of my limitations and was always there to demonstrate moves and correct my form in order to achieve the best results. Training with Bridgette has greatly improved my quality of life! I have more strength and stamina then before, and easily perform daily tasks pain free!

Anyone who enters her studio is welcomed with a warm smile and enthusiasm. She provides a safe and welcoming environment for the inexperienced client and it is a pleasure to train there.

Working with Bridgette is probably the best thing I’ve ever done for myself, and has been one of the absolute best experiences.

I started working with Bridgette in March 2022 in hopes to tone up for my wedding in October. Bridgette designed program(s) for me based on my level and my individual goals. Not only did we achieve results (beyond all expectations), but she provides the education to do exercises the correct way and communicates exactly what each exercise benefits and the science behind it.

I felt amazing and confident on one of the biggest days of my life, and there’s no way I could ever thank her enough for giving me that.

I’ve never been one to enjoy working out, but Bridgette’s encouragement and support makes ALL the difference and I’m so glad I have the opportunity to work with her!!!

I have been workingout on/off for over 30 years! I have been on fad diets, gym memberships, Orangetheory, Pilates, Peloton, Soul Cycle, Boxing classes, Treadmill and through a number of "personal trainers". I even went for my own personal training certification! But being a coach is a whole new level and that is what Bridgette is ~ a coach! I love working with her; she always finds time to answers my questions and explain everything in detail, she really knows what she is talking about and having someone who has a background education with a B.S. in Exercise Sciences along with a Certification in Personal training is priceless. Most trainers have the certificate which anyone can obtain ~ I did, but her knowledge is what makes her unique, in a class of her own ~ Second to none! Her smile lights up the room and her positivite attitude is so infectious! Meeting with Bridgette and making a commitment to myself has been the best
decision I have made for my future health. Being a woman in my mid-50s now is the most crucial time to start weight training because as we get older our bones start to weaken and osteoporosis can start working its way in. I can go on and on to tell you how great Bridgette is but you can find out for yourself! Health is Wealth and without health you just have a ton of doctors bills and prescription payments which you could have invested in training and look good to boot!
