Tried this gym for the first time with zero expectations and had such an amazing experience. Jonathan was a great trainer, providing the high energy and motivation I needed along with a straightforward, intense strength training workout. The music was top tier and kept me going the whole workout. I have tried multiple gym prior to this and Jonathan’s workout was one of the best I’ve been to. Keeping consistent with similar workouts will get me stronger than ever. Go to his classes!

Really enjoyed the Sunday class I took! Have done a lot of different styles of bootcamp classes but this studio has one of my favorite formats — everyone gets their own station and there isn’t the whole scramble of rotating and switching (aka…F45)

If you’re looking for a challenge & to really push yourself to the next level, this is Absolutely the gym to go to. In just two weeks, I can see the transformation in my body. No exaggeration. I love this gym once I’m done with the workout😂 & HIGHLY recommend if you really really really want to see that change!!! You will not regret it (once you’re done with class)

The class itself is needlessly complicated, like we get these tiny squares as a “mat” which isn’t a big deal- except multiple times we need to go from planks to crunches in a speedy manner, meaning we’re spending a lot of time flipping our mat back and forth. Not only that, but we would do one exercise for 30 seconds, then switch to another, etc and it felt unnecessarily complicated. I can forgive the needless complexities of class (as it was “psycho Sundays”) but the instructor (Alexa) was incredibly rude. She put us in groups of three and then got mad that we weren’t setting up fast enough (keep in mind this was a few people’s FIRST class and we didn’t know where the equipment was held) and she specifically called out my group as two girls were setting up benches, and she ranted for a 30 seconds on how “we’re better than this- I know you guys are smarter than this, we don’t need to take so much time to set up… let’s get going because we wasted SO MUCH time setting up.” And then she said “ I can guarantee you no one here is more tired than me.” It just was rude and her attitude just turned me off from ever going again.

Got a great intro deal for newbs in April of this year. Have been going 3-5x a week since! All the trainers are tough and communicative, w slightly different flows.
The program is a great combo of endurance/cardio and strength training. And after only weight training for the last couple years, it’s tough!
They have a water fountain to refill water bottles and the gym is kept tidy.

i love this place!
i used to workout in a similar gym in brazil and i was so glad to found bbb here in williamsburg, because everything here is even better.
all the trainers are really good. especially stars for alexa, rob, skyler and annie who forms a really good team.
also, they give you a super discount in your first month so you can trial and settle the habit. incredible!
if you want to loose a buns of calories in a super fun and dinamic way, that’s the right place for you!

The class was a great workout, good combination of strength and cardio. Down a star because they didn’t have a water fountain for reusable bottles and had to pay for a plastic water bottle. Down another star for the instructor’s vibe, totally get people have off days so giving benefit of the doubt. It was my first class and I tried asking questions and didn’t really get a thoughtful answers and she seemed a bit uninterested, especially towards the end. Overall, she was just not very friendly or welcoming, but again people have off days.

I've been a member since 2022 and I can't say enough great things about this place. I used to subscribe to ClassPass dropping in and out of different boutique fitness spots throughout the city, never really picking a studio to call home. Once BBB opened near my apartment, I decided to try it out and I've been hooked ever since. The studio is clean and spacious, the trainers are encouraging, always pushing you to go a little heavier and the music is on point. I have always enjoyed strength training, but BBB combines both strength training with bursts of endurance related moves creating a super effective 45 min workout. Trying a studio for the first time can always feel a bit intimidating but I have felt nothing but warmth from the owners to the trainers to the other members. The city can sometimes feel a bit transient but belonging to this studio truly feels like a second home.

So many better options in Williamsburg like Equinox, Orange Theory, Chalk, and F45. This a subpar option. Save your time and money. They need to clean it more often, too.

I started working out here to get in shape for my sister's wedding (and because her best friend is a member) but it exceeded all of my expectations. I love the classes, the results, and the community. I used to exclusively run, but hadn't been strength training much (or working out at all that much) over the last two years. BBB changed my mindset about working out. I feel really supported and motivated by all the trainers (they're all so nice!) I am thrilled with my fitness level & body now - I saw great results after just a couple months.

This is by far EASILY the best Bootcamp/fitness training I have experienced in New York. So far I’ve only attended about 8 classes but I see and feel such an improvement in my body. At this rate I’ll have my abs back in 2 weeks lol. I’m looking forward to seeing my results by the end of the year. 💪🏽🏋🏽♀️

Better Body Bootcamp has changed my life and my body SO much. I was hesitant to join because it was far from my apartment but I couldn't be happier, joining this gym was the best decision I've ever made for my health. I used to have terrible knee pain and after a few months of strength training at BBB the pain has decreased so significantly I am constantly amazed how good I feel. All of the trainers at BBB are awesome (Annie, Chris, Julian & Rob <3!!!) they are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about you and your goals. They are always there to help you and answer questions. Each day targets a different muscle group so you are always getting a great workout. My rest days are WELL deserved after I get my lower body destroyed by Annie and a killer upper body workout from Chris!!

BBB has been more than just a gym. It is a community of like-minded people who support each other. I have been coming here since day one. I enjoy coming not only for my goals but also for the community they built. All trainers are unique because they add style and personality to their classes. In my 3 months as a BBB member I can honestly say their program works wonders! If you’re new to working out, the class format really takes the guess work out of exercise. Classes are fast paced but easy to follow with an upbeat playlist. The space is really fun with neon lights and kind of feels like working out in a fun nightclub.
The coaches are so encouraging and knowledgeable. They keep class exciting teaching you how to use lots of different equipment in different ways, call out and correct you with helpful form cues, and keep you really motivated all throughout.
The best part is each day targets a different body area so no worries about boring repetitive workouts! A must try if you’re looking for that extra challenge in your life.

I've loved my experience at Better Body. I've seen changes in my energy levels and feel so much more confident overall. All of the instructors are all passionate, amazing and most importantly make working out a good time. Only here for a few more weeks but when I move to NYC, I'll definitely be signing up here long-term

I can't believe that it's going to be a year since BBB came to Williamsburg and to my life, I was one of the first members and after training and trying other gyms in the neighborhood this has been the best choice to notice significant changes in my body and in my lifestyle. It's going to be a year since BBB opened its doors in Williamsburg and I've been a member since day one and I couldn't be happier and more satisfied with the physical results I've achieved this year. I have much more resistance, more strength and I feel full of energy.

Better Body Bootcamp has really great classes that give you a full body workout each time, while also targeting specific areas of the body each day of the week. I've been going for a couple months and each class is always different. The variety helps keep me in check, I'm never bored of my workout!
They have the best trainers, community. They plan events outside of the gym like running spartan races together, fundraising food or money for good causes... it is more than just a gym and I'm happy to be a member!
