Been going here for a long time.used to be good up till a few months ago. Nothi g but high school kids hanging out jerking around. Vaping in locker room and over crwding locker rooms and weight machines. Weights are never racked and sanitizer wipes always empty. Staff hangs with these high schoolers and allows them all in. I will be leaving once my membership is up. I have already cancelled one of my sons and my other sons membership this week. Not worth it to go here.

Gym use to be really good, they need to make it 18 and over. I went yesterday around 3 and there were 30-40 high school age kids βworking outβ. I donβt know whatβs happened but the gym has become a social club for high schoolers. The entire low end of the dumbbell rack was out, the single bench press had a group of 5-6 kids around it talking and not working, Iβm probably going to switch to crunch in west Babylon, I was told they have an 18 and over policy. Blink has just become ridiculous I donβt have time to waste waiting for every piece of equipment, and then be asked 10 times how many sets I have left.

I dropped one of my earbuds in a difficult to reach area of the treadmill. Manager Sean, as well as another employee took the time to help me retrieve the earbud in a timely manner. They were incredibly helpful and easy to ask for help.

Blink has everything I need at a super reasonable price. The gym has a very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, not to mention the location of this gym is so convenient to me! Everything is generally clean and organized, and the equipment I use almost never has a long wait. Every employee I've spoken to has been very friendly and helpful.
I've been using their personal training service for around 6 months now, and it's honestly been amazing. My personal trainer, Josh, is extremely open and encouraging, and a pleasure to work out with. He's very interested in catering my workout to what I want to do, while also not being shy about giving me his professional advice and opinions. I'm making real progress toward my goals and feeling increasingly confident and strong. Thanks so much, Josh!
The only criticism of Blink that I have is the silly way the computers are placed- in order to do any maintenance on your account, the staff has to look straight down at the computers hidden in the counter, which is such an unnatural and unhealthy and needlessly strenuous way for the human body to bend at work. If anyone in charge is reading this, give your front desk staff ergonomic computer positions! It hurts customers to see them have to bend in half whenever we need help!

I froze my membership in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Unbeknownst to me, blink started charging my account again in August. I received an email that my account was past due. I tried to contact member services with no response. In September 2020 I received an email from blink stating that the last email was sent in error and to disregard. I now find out that in addition to being charged the membership and "Assessment" fees for the months that my account was "frozen" they also sent my account to collections and are threatening to report on my credit. I have called and emailed corporate, called the physical gym and have gotten nowhere. Not only did they lose a member that has been with them since the gym opened, I will be filing my claim with the department of consumer affairs as well as the better business bureau. Blink Fitness has terrible customer service!

Been spending more time here over the past year since I've been mostly remote. Gym is always clean even before covid, reasonable price and not allot of jerks as you get In many gyms in long island. Kettlebell area is prob the best in the bab/west islip area. Only thing that ever raised my eyebrows is that every so often someone smokes pot in the locker room.

The pros are it's extremely clean.
Has a area for kettlebells.
Have a respectable pair of 24KG's
Bumper plates
Plenty of cardio if that's your thing.
Two legit racks/cages.
Only con is they have one cable setup and I didn't see a many what I consider standard attachments ( rope, V-bar etc ).
Overall a nice clean place.

They have an awesome facility of free weights, machines, and open space for anything else you want to do. They also have an entire area for physical therapy in the back. The locker room area was spacious and clean! Since I was only here on vacation and needed the day pass it cost me $15 for the day. I didnβt have a chance to find out membership cost but everyone was so friendly and I highly recommend !!

Just stealing the money please never ever go to this gym cuz they have no amenities and they will charge you whole lots of fee and then u wonβt have any choice thn paying everything to get rid of it so disappointed been a member for a year and a half only went there for 1 week hardly but still wouldnβt get and fee waived!! Blink West Islip cut their size by a 1/3 when the built a physical therapists office in the back. It's too crowded now. The gym used to be better maintained or cleaned but now wreaks of BO. I dont know anyone who likes the music played in the background....sometimes way to loud. Location is convenient with plenty of parking.

The staff at this gym are all so polite and helpful everyone of they will say hello and acknowledge you. I personally death with a women named Michelle and she was amazing and I have my first personal training session with her. The gym is very very clean and I always see people walking around dusting and cleaning. I suggest this gym to anyone but donβt take my word for it the staff is very happy to give you a tour and answer questions and also you can have a free one day trial with a free personal training session to see if this gym is for you.

I was a planet fitness member and I love this gym compared to that one. It had all the equipment I need itβs never to crowded even though it does get busy. The staff is great. Itβs clean. She working with a personal trainer that is affordable is a great bonus.

The staff Is helpful and there are machines available, but if you want to cancel just be prepared to pay almost 70.00 .Total rip off. You also have to pay maintenance fee every year. I recommend planet fitness or invest in a machine at home.

The young staff is very courteous and attentive. The gym is very clean considering the cost of membership. If I could make a suggestion it would be to get another Smith machine perhaps, or enforce a time limit. I have been there for 45 minutes to an hour and haven't been able to use it on several occasions because one person had multiple sets of multiple exercise to do.
