Audra has been an amazing instructor. I have been working with her for about a year now and we continue to build up the routines. I am in my mid 40’s, and have dealt with lower back issues ever since college basketball days, when I injured two discs my sophomore year, from wear & tear of long and intense NCAA seasons. After college sports, sitting all day in offices didn’t help. As a tall person around 6’6” I was dealing with painful back issues at least once a year. I can’t express the relief that I now feel after building up some core strength, and also hip flexibility, which has alleviated the persistent stiffness in my lower back. It’s been a complete game changer, and also a life changer - I sincerely say this. It’s definitely one of those things I wish I had discovered earlier in life….. I had tried most other things (chiropractor, PT, yoga, light weights, etc), but had not discovered Pilates until recently. Audra in particular has given me customized specific routines, and she has also given me confidence to continuing expand to new movements and strengthen further. Thank you, Audra !!!!! Our sessions have greatly helped me !!!

As someone who just moved from NYC to Sullivan County, the transition has not been easy. However working with Audra at Bodies & Plants gives me something to look forward to each week. She is kind and patient while still being able to help me achieve my goals. Lessons are relaxing at the same time as they are very fun. Smiles all around, 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Wish we lived full time Upstate to go as many times as possible to this amazing studio. The teachers dedicated attention and welcoming space make it a perfect place to train body and mind alike. Andrea’s classes are always spot on, her attention to details and clear instructions make the lessons flow and engaging. Love Autumn’s Saturday morning yoga class, perfect for re-balance and re-charge for the weekend and new coming week. 5 stars are not enough for this gem of a studio.

One of the best yoga classes I have ever taken, with a fabulous instructor who was very sensitive to my mother's disabilities.

I highly recommend Bodies & Plants for pilates and other movement classes. Andrea has created a beautiful and welcoming space centered around movement, growth, and self-care. Through regular springboard classes, I have toned my physique and built core strength and stamina that support the physical demands of my days. Every class seems to strip away the tension and stiffness from the week and leaves me feeling open, strong, and limber. The studio has been a true refuge for self-care and community building during these hard years of the pandemic.

I started working with Andrea in the early days of COVID, when she was offering outdoor classes on her private pilates deck. Desperately in need of some exercise and stress relief, and inspired by her calm and creative instruction, it took very little time for me to inquire about private sessions, and I’m so glad I did. Every session with Andrea is unique, imaginative, and fun. She takes the time to understand my needs and preferences, and her warmth and sense of humor carry me through even the most challenging exercises. Thank you, Andrea!!!

When I first came to Andrea, I'd been having pretty consistent back pain from sitting in front of a computer all day and really wanted to do something about it. It had been years since I'd practiced pilates, but on the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give it another shot. From my first meeting with Andrea, her confidence and reassurance that she could help me, changed my entire outlook. Within a few private sessions, my back pain improved and within a couple of months, it had gone away completely. Something I am grateful for every day.

I did pilates casually for a couple years before doing it on a regular basis with Andrea and she has made me fall in love with it! I do a mix of in person privates, virtual privates and group classes at Bodies and Plants.
Andrea does an incredible job of making each session feel approachable and challenging at the same time... while also correcting any imbalance that I'm feeling in my body that week. Now that I'm a few years in, I'm constantly surprised at what my body can do... it is honestly shocking the strength and muscle tone I've built working with her.
Andrea is such an attentive teacher—I feel like she really knows my body... and because of this, I get so much out of every session with her. I always leave a session with Andrea feeling satisfied, strong and rebalanced.

I was 7 months post partum when I first met Andrea and stepped foot into Bodies and Plants. I was looking to find a way to strengthen my mind and body and was struggling to find a way to tackle it after having a baby. Pilates was something I always enjoyed but I was never consistent about working out. Meeting Andrea and seeing her week after week for the last 4 months has been one of my best life decisions. I feel healthier and stronger physically, emotionally and most importantly, mentally. I view working out differently now and I look forward to taking uninterrupted time for myself and my body for the first time in my life. Her studio has an amazing energy to it, maybe it’s being surrounded by plants or how the light shines in so perfectly but the space feels warm and comforting, even in the height of winter! Andrea’s thoughtful approach, steadfast enthusiasm and collaborative spirit make her great at what she does and she has been such a vital part of my recovery. Thank you Andrea!

There's not enough space here for me to share how much I love everything Andrea offers at Bodies and Plants! I'm so happy this is on Main Street in the Manor! I've taken almost every class offered and they're all wonderful. I love that I can book group classes online- my favorite is Springboard. And if you treat yourself to private sessions, you won't be sorry. I've had back issues in the past and regular classes with Andrea have made me stronger and less prone to injury. The facilities are top notch and BEAUTIFUL. It's so nice working out among the plants! And all the teachers here are wonderful and offer their own style of teaching.
