Fantastic gym with personalized training and no lack of attention to their clients. All of the trainers are motivating, inspiring and unique in their training styles. I have personally jumped around to take advantage of the expertise of all the trainers. Kat, Frankie, Ruben, Mike, Ayo - you really can't go wrong. And of course the leader of the pack, Josh. I have been attending classes at this gym for over a year now and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

So I used to be a member of this gym. Things were cool at first but I started to notice it was more of a hangout than an actual boxing gym. If you’re looking for real guidance/technique I would not recommend here. But if you want to get noticed on YouTube or instagram this might be the place for you. Don’t get me wrong they did help me a little bit but at the same time they told me I would hitch my punches (show where I’m throwing before I throw the punch) but didn’t tell me how to fix it. Also my footwork is great but the way I was transferring my weight to punch was wrong. I went to another gym and it was corrected in one sitting. If you’re looking for little Guidance by clients turned coach then by all means attend here but if you really want your as kicked, real discipline, and guidance…don’t come here. Not to mention the prices are outrageous for what they offer. I was spoken down to by the owner for doing something wrong in sparring which was not on purpose. I’m still learning my niche. But I felt belittled, attacked, and threatened all bc I’m a natural fighter.
I was offered a fighter rate that never even happened. Overall it’s a horrible experience here. If you’re looking for a community to hang out and chill with and eat bagels on Saturday’s then this is for you but if you really want to fight you can’t bleed a shed of blood on the canvas bc the owner will care more about his ring than how you may be hurt..

Highly recommended! Took my first beginner boxing class with Mike and had an awesome experience!
1. Semi-Private Lesson: Had a class with 3 including myself. felt like a semi-private lesson. Mike gave one-on-one corrections for every punch, making sure you learn proper form — something rare in group classes.
2. Well-Rounded and Fun Program:
We started with a warm-up, then rotated through punch practice (bags and pads with Mike), cardio, strength training, and finished with core work. The variety kept it fun and made for a great full-body workout.
3. Clean, Friendly, and Welcoming Environment:
The gym is spotless, the coaches and classmates are super friendly to beginners, and the kid-friendly atmosphere — with the sound of kids laughing — makes it feel lively and positive.
Again, highly recommend — and big shout-out to Mike for making it such a great experience!

One of the best, if not THE best, boxing class I have attended. Trainer Mike is fantastic and really helped me inprove the basics - footwork, movement and getting the most out of your punches. Highly recommend if you want to improve, wether you are a beginner or a pro. Whenever I am in NY this is will be my number #1 gym to go to.
The entire staff is friendly, helpful and the classes have a good vibe, welcoming you right from the start. Cannot recommend it enough.

Liubo is a fantastic boxing coach!
I did a drop in drillers class through Classpass and was thoroughly impressed.
Liubo was quick to notice my weaknesses and not so great habits while boxing immediately and drilled them until I improved. He was super patient, has high attention to detail, and made sure I learned a lot while having a great workout.
Unlike other gyms I’ve done through Classpass, Bredwinners not only provides a great workout, but really helps you hone in on your boxing technique, which I appreciated. Very highly recommend!

I've been training at Bredwinners for 2 years and love it! Unlike other gyms, they keep the class sizes down to 6 people, so everyone gets a lot of time on the mitts and the attention they need to really improve.
Each trainer has their own style, but all provide a challenging and fun workout. I train regularly with a few of the coaches, but always try to fit in a class with Liubo each week. He pushes me just a little bit harder to improve my technique and fitness. Always looking forward to my next workout!

Love all the coaches here who’ve built up a great culture, special shouts to Coach Mike Lawton who I’ve worked with for the past year 2x/week. Worth the investment in yourself! 🔥
Approach this place like a dojo and not a franchise like F45 or Equinox. Your first day might feel like there is a lot of chaos going on, you don’t know where to put your gym bag, etc. But keep coming back consistently and you’ll find that everyone is here to help you improve yourself if you’re willing to take feedback and learn. Also, put your personal belongings near the back 🤣
I particularly like Bredwinners because they have classes 7 days a week. There is a healthy mix of folks training to compete vs. those just trying to stay in shape. Being around that atmosphere means you will pick up tips & tricks you would not get if you were just working out by yourself at home.
10/10 recommend for anyone who has thought about giving real boxing training a try but is intimidated by stepping into a gym. This one is a good one 🏆

There are a ton of gyms that claim to host boxing workouts, but none are comparable to the experience you'll have at Bredwinners.
If you want to swing at a heavy bag in a dimly lit gym for 60 min, I can confirm that this isn't the gym for you, but if you want to learn boxing, while getting a great workout in, Bredwinners is the place to be. I came in off Classpass nearly two years ago, and never looked back.
With coaches who monitor your progress and skill level, each class feels like a personal experience and you'll quickly see yourself getting better. Josh, Mike, Kat, and the entire team are amazing, and I'm so thankful to have found this gym. Best boxing gym in NYC!

Love Bredwinners! It’s so accessible to anyone of any level and the coaches are super accommodating.
The small semi-private sessions make it so you learn how to really box and it’s not just hitting a punching bag unmonitored for 60 min like it is at other gyms. The coaches are attentive, provide real time feedback and motivation, and make sure you aren’t setting yourself up for injury.
Been training specifically with Coach Ruben for a long time. He taught me how to throw my first punch and now I’m learning how to spar. It’s super empowering! He’s the absolute best! Highly recommend trying his class.
I did my birthday party at Bred this year with Ruben, it was easy to coordinate and plan. None of my friends had boxed before but they had a blast!

Bredwinners is the foundation you need for boxing. As someone who has trained in weapons-based martial arts for 10 years, I find that technique and the art of fighting smart are very important, and Bredwinners has absolutely delivered on that. At this gym, you work directly with a coach in a group of no more than six people. There are three types of classes based on level and experience that individuals can choose to go. One is for the fundamentals of boxing which are the punches, footwork, and defense. The second one is for drilling the fundamentals as well as workshopping combinations, footwork, and defense in different scenarios. The last one is sparring which best tests what you've learned as well as develop your tactics. For all the classes, the coach provides their undivided attention and immediate feedback to sharpen one's movement. Conditioning is a given at this gym which will certainly increase your strength, stamina, and endurance.
For the past year and a half, this boxing gym has taught me everything I know about the sport. I would like to thank Josh, Ruben, and especially Mike for training me and sharing their expertise. The community at Bredwinners is amazing and supportive while motivating everyone to do their best. It is a no-frills gym, so be prepared to put in the hard work and dedication required to become a boxer.

Best boxing gym in NYC, period!!! Best coaches, amazing community, prime location and unmatched vibes!
Been with Bredwinners since they open back in 2021 and leant everything here from throwing the basic punches to actually fighting in NY tournaments! Never imagine I would stick to a sport for this long but Bredwinners makes it happen.
The class size here is small capped at 6 people, which means you get a lot of personal attention! It’s gonna be a no-frills experience for absolute beginners and veteran fighters alike. The classes are really well structured with a lot of mitt work, partner drills as well as conditioning exercises. In boxing, you are forever a student. Bredwinners make you 1% better each time and you will walk out of the gym picking up something new, correcting a bad habit and getting better stamina. No matter your boxing and fitness level, you will sweat, suffer, most likely curse at one point but smile 🤣.
Most importantly the coaches here are not only professional but they really really really care about you getting better! Huge thanks to Josh, Ruben and Frankie who have always been at my corner 🥊. The Bredwinners community are truly a second family to me!
Definitely try this place out and you won’t regret!

Messy, untidy, and small space. Feels very cramp and sweaty. You'll spend most of your class doing exercises you could do at home, like push-ups and squats, and only about 20% on boxing drills/pads. Which is OK, but if you really want to focus on boxing, this probably isn't the place for you; it's more about general fitness.
However, the real reason for my 1-star review is their customer service. The management is fairly selfish. I bought a 5-class pack but got injured before I could use any of it. I wasn't told the pack had an expiry date when I bought it in person, so when I came back months later to use it, I was surprised I couldn't. I contacted their team, explained my situation, and kindly asked if I could get my 5-pack renewed. They refused and said they would only renew mine if I bought another 5-pack ($200). I then explained that I was leaving the US in 2 weeks and didn't think I could use all 10 classes with my schedule. They reiterated they wouldn't help me, and even had the nerve to wish me well and recommend I buy a pack when I get back. Completely ignoring the fact that I said I am *moving* countries, not on vacation.
I've already paid for these classes, I haven't used any of the credit, surely just let me use them. They would've gained a very positive review, instead of this one, and a referrer of their business. Instead they asked for more money.
In summary: really average space, mostly fitness, not boxing training, plus greedy and unreasonable service. I can't recommend this place—check out Church Street or Last Round nearby instead.

It’s a decent gym for beginners. The gym feels makeshift since it was a golf simulator place prior, they did nothing to make it feel like a boxing gym besides adding a ring and throwing up a bag.
There’s only one bathroom and no showers, and it’s smelled strongly of marijuana (not sure if it’s the coaches or clients) but it’s still unprofessional.
Coaches seem nice, but some made you feel uncomfortable so I don’t plan to go back to this gym.

Incredible gym. Came here for a weekend in New York’s and Ruben the boxing coach was amazing. Great functional drills and super technical. Joshua at the front was super friendly and welcoming too. Overall, great atmosphere and good technique. Would highly recommend coming here.
