I learn something new in almost every class. I have practiced in studios around the world and these are truly some of the best teachers. the ground floor studio can get crowded but upstairs is spacious and beautiful. they keep it real and down to earth too. love bk flow

Very disappointed by the selection of classes here and was made to feel uncomfortable and picked on by one of the male instructors. And overpriced for very mid yoga

Wonderful natal classes, first started attending with my 1st pregnancy 9 years ago and now again that I’m 9 months postpartum. Really enjoy the perinatal health offerings at various stages of parenting. 🙏🏼

One male instructor ruined my entire experience at this studio. I was taking child pose a lot for this one class because I was having a difficult day and that is what my body needed in that moment. This instructor came over to me and in this awful tone said "if you want to leave you're welcome to." In my 10+ years of yoga I have NEVER had someone ask me to leave because I was in childs pose- they often helped with adjustments or at least checked in with me to see if I was okay. I ended up getting up and leaving because I was so damn uncomfortable. I was also the only person of color in the entire room, so to hear the way he spoke to me vs. how he sweetly spoke to all the white women was too much to bear. I spoke to the front desk person on my way out but they offered no follow-up on whether they spoke to this awful man. Will not be returning

Great yoga spot. I love the smoothies at the attached cafe. I just wanted to shout out Aditi and her Accessible Yoga class - it's good vibes and Aditi is so attentive and personalized with her instruction, it feels like a 1+1. The class is targeted towards people with restricted mobility I believe, but if you're young and fit she will progress the exercise for you so that you really get something out of it. Highly recommend!

My yoga home away from home! A boutique studio without attitude, qualified and fun teachers and a very welcoming atmosphere! Gold stars!

I've always had a good experience at Bend and Bloom. I'm a relative novice but have always felt comfortable and welcomed here. The studios themselves are extremely calm and minimalist. You truly feel like you're escaping the city. There are two studios one big and one small. They offer packages but you really don't save that much unless you spring for an unlimited plan and go very often. They do offer a pay-what-you-can class with a budding instructor about once a week which is great.

I’ve been practicing yoga at this studio for just under a month now and I can’t recommend it enough. the instructors are all amazing, not a single one I haven’t enjoyed class with. anytime I can take a class with Tracy or Jess i’m THERE! seriously the most refreshing hour + of my day and I go as often as I can. studio is clean & safe, the people are all wonderful. overall an amazing place!

Brooklyn Flow is a great studio. Beautiful and serene new space. Excellent instructors. Good range of class options.
One small suggestion though: would be helpful if instructors were encouraged to ask people to be mindful and efficient with spacing, e.g. stagger mats, when classes are full.
Otherwise huge thumbs up.

Two beautiful and airy studios and excellent teachers. Thoughtful, engaging classes with a focus on alignment and complex flows. And a lot of class selections to accommodate different schedules. The studio also takes a reasonable approach to capacity: even in sold out classes there’s enough room to breathe and have some personal space. I also appreciate that it’s not a hybridized yoga/workout/fitness culture kind of place.

The space is absolutely gorgeous! Everything is bright, airy and calming. My first Vinyasa class was great and challenging. One suggestion: maybe mark the rows so people know where to line up their mats. Once I was situated we had to shuffle around since people were kind of scattered about. The instructor did a good job of wrangling everyone though! I'll definitely be back :)

I love this studio! Really kind peeps at the desk, awesome and varied instructors, great schedule, clean and peaceful studio space and (bonus) great coffee. I wish I could share a favorite instructor but really they’re all fantastic for all levels.

I’ve been practicing at the studio for about 6 months now and it’s been a wonderful experience. There are people who’ve been coming here for years, too. Not only has my flexibility, alignment—and sleep—improved over several months, but I also feel welcome in this space. There are so many instructors that it’s hard not to find ones who fit your own personal style and goals (however, some of the more popular instructors and class times do fill up). Classes are offered throughout the day to accommodate flexible schedules, which I also like. The skylight studio is incredible; I love being able to watch the clouds and occasional plane fly overhead. The studio managers are really nice, too. Another important factor for going here is that I don’t feel judged for showing up in an old t-shirt and unshaved armpits. Of course, there are some stylish people who go here.
As for the reviewers complaining about rooms that were too hot, it’s actually okay to mention that to the instructors. I personally prefer the upstairs studio when possible. If you signed up for a class with an instructor whose style you don’t like, you can always talk to one of the studio employees or one of the other yogis to discuss who you might have a better “flow” with.
Anyways, please don’t come to Brooklyn Flow—the place gets crowded enough on weekend mornings as it is. ; )

Lovely yoga studio with good vibes! There is a nice waiting area in the front and it is easy to book a spot online. I have taken two classes so far and especially loved the Advanced Flow class. The rooms are well equipped with blankets, blocks, straps, etc. Hope to be back soon!

I love Bend and Bloom for its convenient location, reasonable pricing and very very diverse teaching staff. Every teacher I’ve practiced with here has something different to offer and I am so grateful for that! Julie incorporates a clear theme in her class and I am mesmerized by her knowledge of yoga and the philosophy behind it. I find her class to be balanced and always gives modification/access/challenge to those seeking them. Danielle’s flow is super energizing and I always leave my mat feeling refreshed. Jason and Margaret make it fun that you ‘almost’ forget how hard they are making you work! Aditi and Kate are clear in instruction and I often learn something new in their align classes. In Christina’s class I am hyper aware of my body, and how to isolate certain parts to make the poses work for me. The studio truly has something for everyone no matter where they are on their yoga journey. Thank you for existing!

Wonderful, warm and inviting space. I've only discovered via a recommendation for prenatal yoga but will continue going post partum even though it's a bit out of the way for me. The class packs are very reasonably priced and class schedule offers a really nice range of times and level accomodations. The studio encourages forming a closely knit support network for pregnant women and Michelle who teaches Monday night prenatal is a wealth of information for prenatal self care. The studio staff is incredibly caring and accommodating going as far as surrendering their own umbrella to me last time I came to class during a downpour and someone from a previous class accidentally took mine. I look forward to Monday nights at the studio and feel truly bummed out when I have to miss a class. What a gem!

Pretty pricey for mediocre yoga and not very good customer service. Basically laughed at me when I asked if there was a birthday discount (last year there was) and didn’t even wish me happy birthday :-(

Just took a yoga class with Cari: what an absolute WONDER WOMAN ❤️❤️❤️ I learned more in her hour long class today than I have learned doing yoga in the past year. I literally cried tears of joy at the end of the class.
