About the Club

Brooklyn Pilates offers clients private 1-on-1 sessions in a light-filled home studio.
The studio is fully equipped with a reformer, stability chair, stall bars, and a LED Red Light Therapy panel.
Clients enjoy the ambiance of a safe, trusting, and clean studio in Park Slope. Brooklyn Pilates creates highly personalized sessions and focuses on helping the client integrate their sessions into their personal life outside of the studio.
About the instructor: Christine is a former dancer with a Masters in Dance Therapy from NYU. She is fully certified in Stott Pilates and has been teaching Pilates for over 20-years.

This is my second year of working with Christine. I love working one on one with her. I try to take her positivity with me when I’m not there. It is a true mind, body and spirit experience. I can see and feel the difference after a session with her. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her. A five star experience and a 5 star person!

Christina from Brooklyn Pilates is amazing!! I suffered from severe sciatic for years and was very nervous to work out again. After doing PT to someone help my back, I decided I needed to get back in shape and try pilates as it is supposed to be an amazing workout especially for the back. Christine is the sweetest person. Her attention to detail is impeccable. She makea sure my form is always correct, and always asks how my body is responsing to the workout so I do not injur myself. She turned me from a person who was afraid to work out, to counting down the days till our session. My clothes fit so much better and I can see the difference in my body. I cannot recommend her enough. I am not a workout class person so I really enjoy her one on one personal sessions.

Christine is one of a kind. I have a complex relationship to exercise but worsening chronic pain pushed me to seek additional support. I had my eye on Pilates as a low-impact strengthening option but was incredibly intimidated to try. I knew a group class wasn’t going to be the right starting place for me so I looked for 1:1 options and found Christine. I’m so glad I did.

Christine really listened to me and heard where I was struggling with both my physical and emotional relationship with my body. Each session she crates a customized routine and is immediately responsive to my questions and feedback. I’ve cried (the good kind!) in about half of our sessions together and really feel a shift in my perspective. I’m so grateful for Christine’s practice and am excited to continue our work together.

I took a pilates class not really knowing what I was getting into and I' was pleasantly surprised from my experence at Brooklyn Pilates and I continued taking classes. I think this would benefit anyone. I am a lot more conscious of my posture than I've ever been. Christine is one of the most intuitive people I've ever met and it seems to me she is a natural healer. After many months-long absence, I returned to work with Christine and immediately noticed improvements in posture, stamina, strength, and flexibility. My tennis buddies are amazed at my new found vertical jump ability to bend to dig out the low balls. Stretching has also increased my lateral range. It has also been beneficial in the performance of daily chores and moving around the city. I feel an overall kinesthetic confidence that I never experienced before. I feel lighter and free and am enjoying being in my body. Each session concludes with a Red Light Therapy treatment where my whole body relaxes after a challenging workout. Since I’ve returned working with Christine, I no longer need my heating pad for my back. I owe my newly found zest for living to Brooklyn Pilates.

Christine is the type of person that walks into the room and you feel a wave of calm immediately. I had one of the most wonderful private pilates sessions I've ever had in her state of the art studio! Christine Dubov is a first rate palates instructor. Not only is she well informed in her subject but also has an innate ability to clearly explain technique, making it easy to understand and follow. With her warm but confident manner my sessions opened me up to movements and positions my body rarely if ever performed even though I workout 4 to 5 days a week. She has even help me improve my posture and to be more cognizant of my movements as I walk. If you want a palates instructor that is knowledgeable, patient and caring I highly recommend Christine.
