I cannot recommend Megan highly enough. From our very first session, it was clear she is a cut above the rest. I came in wanting to learn the kettlebell swing, and Megan didn't just show me the moves—she taught me the critical why behind perfect technique. She even videoed my swing so I could see my own form and the incredible improvement in real-time. It made all the difference.

Beyond the technique, Megan’s approach to programming was eye opening for me. She took the time to truly listen to my goals and structured the workout around a philosophy that is both intelligent and with considerations that I hadn't thought of before.

The Brooklyn Strength Club facility is also fantastic – clean, well-equipped, and a great environment to train in. If you're looking for a personal trainer who is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in your success, look no further than Megan!

Started weight loss journey July 2024 and have lost just over 100 lbs thanks to this amazing gym. My nutrition planning and eating habits have changed for the better and is helping me to consistently keep dropping the weight all while building muscle mass. I’ve joined several gyms and always just never felt complete . I just go and within 3 months I’m looking for something else to do. I look for friends/family to go with me just to have someone there to hold me accountable (failed). Then I walked into Brooklyn Strength Club and the family was already there. Working out became fun again and the family is there to see you through. I’m no longer lost in a gym not knowing what to do. I get up in the morning (I’m not a morning person) to go workout no excuses, this is how I know I’ve found my place. I appreciate the entire team there!!!

I finally found my gym home at Brooklyn Strength Club! The moment I walked in Cathy (owner) greeted me warmly including the members. I love how there are options with small & large (no more than 18/20) groups, the workouts are posted and you work at your own speed! Most importantly, the coaches are amazing and will ensure your form is CORRECT!!! They do not play about form! If you are looking for a great gym, then I highly recommend Brooklyn Strength!

I joined in May after the cinco de mayo event and it was the best invitation I ever accepted from Coach Desroy. I immediately started going to the 5:15 am class with Coach Sammi which was amazing and she always has the jams playing. I had spinal surgery twice in 2022 and 2023 so I didn’t think I would be able to get super strong after especially with my on and off again relationship with the gym but after attending I’ve gotten so much stronger. (Deadlifting 200 pounds) Coach Cathy is a great owner and coach in her own right always making sure you don’t hurt yourself but wanting you to push yourself and believing you can do it if you put your mind to it. Coach Desroy is a killer with the hurricane classes but my cardiovascular health thanks him. The people I’ve met in this class also helps to make sure I come everyday Monday-Friday. Special shoutout to teammate Will who has been pushing me to join since the cinco event and makes sure to offer rides to everyone or connect them with someone who can, which makes it hard to make excuses in the gym. If you’re thinking of joining just join you’ll never regret it. Hallussa!

I joined TFW in June of 2022 and have seen amazing results in my appearance but more so in my confidence. I had always worked out and am myself an instructor, yet I was so nervous my first time walking in I honestly didn’t believe I could do any of it , I didn’t even know what a deadlift was! The coaches are so amazing and were so welcoming and explained everything so well and made me feel so comfortable that very first time and I now I feel like they are family! It is an amazing community of people that really support each other and rally for you and cheer you on your journey whatever that may be.I am doing things I never ever thought possible! I love how at TFW they support your individual goals and really work with you in achieving them. I am so excited for every session and can’t wait to see what challenges are on the board each and every time! TFW has definitely changed how I see fitness and I can’t wait to see what the future brings!

TFW Brooklyn is so much more than “just a gym”…. It’s therapy, community and a party! I was intimidated when I first walked in but was immediately welcomed by the members and the coaches. There is such a positive, encouraging, inclusive vibe here- every size, shape, age, race, ability…everyone becomes part of the tfw family. I’m not even close to a morning person, but now I look forward to coming here at 6:30am. In a short time I made friends that cheer me on and I’m doing exercises and lifting weights I never thought I could!

TFW changed the way I view fitness. I’ve always been health conscious, trying different sports and of course going to the gym. I’ve been a member of multiple gyms through out my life, my consistency attending varied and my progress was minimal. TWF is a fitness experience that is like no other. I've been a member of TFW Brooklyn since January 2023, and I can honestly say it's been an amazing experience. Walking in on my first day, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but the friendly and welcoming atmosphere put me at ease right away.

The coaches at TFW are top-notch - they're knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and always willing to help. I walked into TFW 2 years ago. I was not feeling healthy or good about myself. I knew I needed to make a change. I was a nervous wreck walking in but was greated by Megan who instantly made me feel comfortable. She took the time to show me around and answer my questions. I joined that week and have been a member of this family for almost 2 years. TFW has changed my life. I feel happy and healthy and love the family atmosphere at this gym. I started my lifestyle journey with TFW back in May of this year. 5 months later and I’m still committed to my 5:15am class. Some mornings I wake up & I’d rather go back to sleep , but my friend Will once said “ it’s the mornings that you don’t wanna go that you’ll have the best workouts”.
I am now at the stage where I love working out, I look forward to seeing my gym family everyday… we hold each other accountable and cheer everyone on. TBH going to the gym right now is the ONLY stable “thing “ I have going on in my life right now…

TFW is an amazing place to learn how to get healthy, strong and successful. The training classes are well organized with specific exercises that everyone completes at their own level of ability. The coaches are able to instruct us as a group, but also give individual tips to each of us during class to improve or correct how we exercise. They keep us exercising safely. I learn something new every class. Diversity is respected. We all come in different sizes , ages and shapes with the common goal to get healthy, be healthy, stay healthy. The gym is bright, cheerful and clean. Equipment is cleaned between each person’s use. The classes are challenging and fun. One very important concept I learned from Going to TFW- I no longer want “ the perfect body”, I already have one and it gets stronger every day! Try this place . They will lift you up!

I was very apprehensive about joining another gym that just has equipment and no motivation to continue, but this is not an ordinary gym. Cathy, her team, and students have an amazing program and location. I have been there from other TFW's for charity events and certifications. If I lived on the complete other end of Flatbush I would still travel all the way to TFW Brooklyn!!!!
