Got charged 60$ for "open play" but the room was sooo small and they were "teaching classes" nobody was even at the door and all the class kids were using up most of the few activities that were available. It's DEFINITELY not like advertised. The picture thats posted looks like how it might've looked 6 years ago. But now its dark, old and dingey. The workers didn't even greet you at the front desk you had to search for someone and they seemed annoyed to be asked any questions. Definitely NOT worth the money. Oh and dont pay for adults, the website does not say that its kids only yet they took my money for an adult pass.

Just had the most fun 5th birthday party for our son and his friend here today. The crew was super helpful and extremely talented! They entertained the kids for over an hour before we ate, and they helped with set up and breakdown. An all around great group of guys who made their bday party so memorable. I did not use this facility at all. I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the owners deciding to call this place “Brooklyn Zoo”. I wasted an hour’s drive wanting to bring my son to an actual zoo only to realize it’s a gym. Did the thought never occurred to the people running this place that calling it the Brooklyn Zoo might be confusing and risks wasting other people’s time. If they really don’t mind being confusing, I’d like to suggest they open a coffee shop and call it Brooklyn Emergency Hospital. If anyone else reading this has also wasted their time because of a confusing name and knows of a way to bring a class action suit against the company to get monetary value for lost time, include me as a claimant.

We love training at this space! The gym is well-equipped with everything you need to train tumbling, gymnastics, parkour, dance, and calisthenics. This is a two-story gym with super fun obstacles, trampoline, foam pit, spring floor, mirrors, and TONS of mats. The staff are very kind and helpful and care a lot about the community who come to the gym. The people who train there are creative and talented artists and athletes who are incredibly supportive to one another and happy to share the space, even on busy days. Definitely check out the classes if you’re new, you’ll learn a lot!

My kids love this place but the drop in rate is super expensive and they don’t offer sibling discount. I use to get the package for one month now they changed it for 3 weeks. Brooklyn Zoo is a super cool unique place to practice everything from gymnastics to dance to parkour to trampoline and more. The space has a cool unique aesthetic which feels like it’s channeling the industrial Brooklyn neighborhood surrounding it. They have a few tables for working or hanging out if you want to spend the day there and also get some practice in. It can be a little intimidating for a first timer but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their policy of requiring a class before access to open gym is great because they give you broad instruction on all the pads and equipment as well as communicating a safety first policy.

Really wonderful alternative to a barbells and treadmill type of gym. I haven't really taken an exercise class since March 2020 and am a little bit out of shape. Have some tumbling/silks/trampoline experience. I was more than sufficiently challenged by what was offered, and still instructors were really great at offering alternatives. Bars with Jessica was especially accessible and I really felt taken care of by her. And my arms were more than sore in the next few days. I also find that the opportunity to literally change my perspective (by being upside down) is tremendous for my mental health. Looking forward to attending regularly!

Usually frequent here for practice with friends during open gym. Front desk staff is always amazing, place is always clean. If you’re someone ,or have kids, that love gymnastics, parkour, calisthenics, martial arts, and overall fun, this is a great place to go. I attended an adult class with Will The Thrill this week and it was totally awesome! Our instructor was an incredibly high level tumbler - I was AMAZED at his skills!!- and he offered helpful form corrections, tips & spots! I wasn't sure which building was the right one so when I called, the guy at the desk came outside to help me find the place-- SO NICE!! My son has been to a few classes and recently the holiday camp. He had a great time despite the fact they couldn't play Nerf. Almost everyone there is really nice. We did have a slight issue with one of the workers because my son had a hard time getting out of the foam pit ( he's a bit on the heavy side) but worker told him he wouldn't help him get out and he couldn't go in if he couldn't get out. My son was pretty embarrassed by it but didn't let it ruin his fun. All and all we do really like Brooklyn Zoo and will definitely be back.

It is a great space for kids who love to trick for fun and level up with skilled trainers. They have the spring board floor to jump higher and land safer. We first went there for birthday parties, and returned for tricking class once we learned there are classes they can take. You know you found the right place when kids are thrilled and wanted to stay longer after the class was done. I highly recommend the space however some of the adv classes should be reserved for adults and or kids who can do more than round off backhand springs.

Every time I get the chance to make my way to the Brooklyn Zoo driving from Long Island I always have an amazing experience. Last night I competed in my first NNL with Justin Conway being the host and even though I went out a lot sooner than I expected on the course I can definitely say I still had an incredible time. Surrounding yourself which this ninja community is just a comfortable feeling and everyone is so welcoming and accepts you for who you are. Justin Conway has such an amazing heart and has a way of interacting, connecting and especially motivating children, teenagers, adults, people of all ages. He has that ninja spirit and wants to share it with everyone. I even brought my friend last night and after just being at the zoo one time told me we would train together and next year he would compete as well. Over all it’s always a pleasure making my way down to the Brooklyn Zoo. It’s such a friendly environment and you are never judge, it’s actually the complete opposite. The ninja family would want to help you in trying to succeed. I forgot to mention my friend and I had a lot of great connections with other ninjas last night and made some friends in the process. The Brooklyn Zoo is where it’s at to just be yourself and feel like you are part of a family.
