I’m recovering from open heart surgery and one thing I learnt from Cardiac rehab is I have to continue to use strength training(weights) and resistance (rubber bands) to both build my stamina and manage healthy blood glucose levels. I got both at an introductory session here and I “felt” all my muscles in my thighs (quads) and lower back / butt (glutes) for 2 days after the workout. The instructor (Karli) demonstrated the exercises and while respectful of boundaries (such as how much weight I could lift) she pushed me sufficiently that I want to go back for more!!!
I highly recommend this studio - yes it’s based on 1 class, but I intend to join, it is local and women run and women focused.

I really enjoyed my workout at Bunny! As a total novice I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up, but I felt totally at ease and accommodated during the class. Karli made sure to walk me through everything and took the time to correct my form and offer gentle words of encouragement. Everyone in the class was lovely and supportive as well. Highly recommend

I did a trial class with Karli and it was really exceptional. Bunny Fitness has completely changed my life. I’ve been working with Karli, the owner and one of the trainers, since October, and in that time I’ve not only lost a significant amount of weight and leaned out, but more importantly, I’ve learned so much about strength training and about my body at age 40—more than I ever have before.

Bunny is a great gym in an area with very few options. This one is special, as it’s small group semi-private training. The trainers are super attuned to your needs and growth. I’ve only been once so far, but it seems like a great community. I will be back!

I never thought I’d be a person who looks forward to going to the gym—but all that’s changed with Bunny. Since I started lifting with Karli and team, I’ve gone from a complete weightlifting novice who struggled carrying a 20-pound bag of dirty clothes to the laundromat to gladly loading up barbells twice a week to lift heavier and get stronger. The community and positive energy of the space bring a sense of camaraderie to working out that I’ve never experienced in any other group fitness setting.
