Carolyn is a great instructor and dedicated to her practice. She’s so welcoming and warm, offering modifications and informing us what part of the body the move being taught targets. It’s a great way to start the day outdoors and was always a highlight of my week. It’s great for mobility and core.

This is such a wonderful class!! I found out about Carolyn’s class earlier this summer and have become a regular ever since! She always offers multiple options for various positions and maneuvers so the class can work for people of all different levels. Attending this class has become a highlight of my weekends!! I love being able to exercise, socialize, and experience the beauty of Central Park all within the same hour!!!

As someone new to Pilates, these classes are great and easily accessible in Central Park, and I always find the stretches helpful for my rest days after a long run! Carolyn is a fab instructor, and everyone is so nice and social when we grab coffee after!

I stumbled upon this class when looking for a Pilates class while I was visiting NYC for the weekend. It was much simpler to sign up and less expensive than the reformer studio alternatives I was considering. Carolyn was very communicative, I signed up for an early morning class and ended up being the only one there! She was gracious enough not to cancel the class when I told her I couldn’t make it to the later classes. The vibe was excellent, loved the views and the class was the perfect way to start my day. Beginner friendly but still a great workout. Highly recommend!

Carolyn is a wonderful Pilates teacher! Her mat Pilates classes help students progress exercises each week, so whether you are new to Pilates or have been practicing for years, they are perfect for all levels. I used to do yoga and Pilates but stopped a few years ago, and I felt stronger and more flexible after just a few sessions. Additionally, I find many Pilates classes difficult to follow, but because Carolyn demonstrates every exercise I was able to keep up! I definitely recommend taking classes with her in Central Park—what an amazing teacher and setting!

Pilates in the park is a great experience! The instructor is fantastic and really makes everyone feel comfortable, no matter your level. The community is super friendly, and doing Pilates with views of Central Park is just the best. I recently tried their Riverside Park class and loved the vibe too. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this group! Our instructor is super friendly and has a fantastic ability to explain exercises in a way that’s clear and easy to follow. I love that she demonstrates variations for every move, which ensures that people of all experience levels get an effective workout. I started as an absolute beginner, and in just a few weeks, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my core strength and flexibility.
The best part is that the group heads out for coffee or drinks on the UWS after class, so there’s a real sense of community and social connection beyond the workout. It’s the perfect blend of fitness and fun!

Such a great experience! I try to go almost every week because the people, the vibe, and the instructor is just too good to skip out on. It’s also free and very beginner friendly. People go out for drinks or coffee after each class too so you can actually socialize and make friends! Just absolutely love it
