Took my first class at 5 pm with Coach Wade. He was a phenomenal instructor and gave me extra care knowing it was new to me. He combined a playful upbeat vibe with motivation and excellent technique. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to give it a try. Wade is cream of the crop, chef’s kiss.

Do you want to get in shape? Do you find a regular gym boring?
If you answered yes to both the above questions, you should try some kickboxing.

Instructor: Hardcore Macro (Mondays) - You can expect a full body intense workout from him.
He will train you hard until you can taste iron in the back of your throat. If you are looking for a high intensity work out, attend his class.

Instructor: Destroyer Wade (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays) - Military drill Sargeant style training. This Instructor will keep you busy and sweating. There will be almost zero rest time and class will be over before you know it.
Attend his class if you plan to get monthly because he trains specific muscles on different days. Its a nice schedule.

Instructor: 1 vs 1 me Yaya (Thursdays 5pm, he teaches morning classes otherwise 9-10am) -
This Instructor will teach you how to how to use your body and train muslces you have never used. You can expect 1 vs 1 training with pads and he will help you improve your form and techniques.
Attend his class if you want personal attention.

Instructor: Karate Kid Kawme (Fridays) -
The Instructor will train you about the basics of throwing punches and kicks. He focuses on kickes of all types. So if you want to learn some side kicks or flying round house kicks, attend his class.
This class is usually not too fast paced and perfect for beginners.

Instructor: Limit Break Nicole (Saturdays on and off)
I've only attended 2 of her classes because she comes in biweekly.
Her training style is a combination between Intense workout (heavy weights) and hitting the bag for cardio.
She will push you to test your limits 🙂 and break through. (Beginners should proceed with caution haha)
But jokes aside, attend her class if you want a serious work out. Her training style will get you results.

The Instructors I mentioned above teach classes from 5-8 pm

The first class is free.
Monthly membership is a 100 + tax and you can take classes 7 days a week, multiple sessions. Worth every penny if you plan to attend at least 2-3 days a week.

I recommend taking a class at CKO Clinton Hill for a great workout and effective kickboxing lesson. The trainers are experienced, friendly, and patient. You’ll be able to find workouts suitable for all levels while learning in judgement free environment. I highly recommend taking a class and PT session with Kwame. He’s a great coach and has helped me improve my kickboxing skills over the last few weeks.

Been kickboxing here for 3 months almost everyday with the monthly plan I got here! Kickboxing has become my favourite hobby, it is so fun, always makes my day and stress relieving from school work. All the instructors are so nice, motivating and funny. It helped me get into a healthier daily routine by exercising and developing different kickboxing techniques. My favourite instructors are Kwame and Wade! 🤩🤩🤩both with good sense of humour and very helpful with their advices for me to improve on certain punches and kicks. I have also attended Kat and Nicole’s classes, both of them were very motivating in pushing my limits! You will love it once you start taking classes here, the music is also bomb🔥🔥!!! I would totally recommend the monthly subscription, is sooo worth it🥰🥰

Friday night Kwame classes are perfect! Just what you need at the end of the week- challenging yet really fun. He keeps it fresh every week with new ways to kick too. Highly recommend- to a beginner or an advanced practitioner!

Kickboxing at CKO is such a fun way to workout and burn tons of calories. I’ve been coming here for many years and Kwame is my favorite instructor. Every single instructor at this location is awesome and brings something different to your workout. I’d never tried kickboxing before and was intimated to start - I’m so glad I had Wade for that first class. It’s such an inclusive space and everyone is nice, thoughtful, and focused on fitness but with different approaches. I’ve taken classes with Nicole, Jake, and Addy - always a great workout and always a unique experience.

I just started this class a couple of weeks ago and had reservation about my ability to handle the classes due to my chronic back pain,my weight, hip pain issues and my chronic arthritis.. to my surprise i was overjoyed that i could go at my on pace and still feel the burn and the trainer WADE!!!! is the BEST.. He is very motivating ,dedicated, energetic , patient and funny as hell..I hope once this 16 week challenge is over that i would be able to afford the regular price.

Management & instructors are fantastic. I haven't been to a class where I walked away feeling underworked or uninspired. My first kickboxing class ever was at this place; I did the three class and free gloves deal because I was afraid to commit to the gym. Around 6 months later, I'm still attending the classes feeling stronger mentally and physically. I really do find some sort of place of peace after ever class, and I'm very grateful that I'm still a member!

LOVE CKO!!! I am very new to kickboxing, but CKO made me fall in love! So far I have had classes with Addy, Patrick and Wade, and they are all wonderful teachers, inviting and welcoming to everyone of any skill level. As someone who is intimidated by working out, I have found the classes very entertaining, comprehensive and flexible. Everyone is welcome to move at their own pace, and the workouts are designed for you to go as hard as you wish. Truly a full body workout with short breaks throughout. The gym is very clean, and bags and mats are cleaned after each class. Could not say enough good things about CKO Clinton Hill. Truly feels like a non-judgemental, body-positive and safe community during every class. For people trying to feel out the gym or the classes, they offer a 3 class with gloves deal which I originally started with. Now I have a membership and am so excited to see how I grow over the next year.
