Do not book a birthday party here. I’m not sure if they are actually even open at all but I put down a deposit for a party, then noticed that Google listed them as “permanently closed.” I tried to contact the gym in any way possible and got no response. They still took my deposit and we had no party. Not sure what is going on but I hope to save anyone else from losing out on $100 and having to plan a last minute birthday party.

For Christmas my sister in law purchased a “1 month membership” for my son to go here. for WEEKS, her and I have been calling and emailing with absolutely no response. Living 30 minutes away I was hesitant to go and speak to them in person. I finally bit the bullet and came this morning to find the doors locked and the building completely dark. Why is the place listed as open if no one is here? What an absolute waste of time and gas. All in all such a frustrating experience. I strongly recommend to look at other places in the 518. Stay far away from here.

What a great place to have your kids. The owner is the sweetest and truly cares about the well being of each and every child to step foot in the building. Highly recommend.

This is a great place for little ones, and one of the few left in the area. It is reasonably priced with a great location and lots of offerings such as parties, camps and classes. We had my daughter's 4th birthday party here in April and it was a hit! I worked directly with the owner and she made sure that I had everything I wanted. She was more than accommodating and I had plenty of time to set up prior to the party. The party coordinators were also so sweet and helpful and if I needed something they were able to help. You cannot beat the price of the party for what is included. The time for the party was a perfect amount - just enough but not too much. Grateful to have this little gem in our area!

Our family has been loyal customers of The Little Gym (multiple locations), hosting three birthday parties and participating in programs over the years. However, our recent experience for our four-year old's birthday party at The Little Gym of Saratoga on January 11, 2025, was disappointing and fell far below our expectations.
The party was scheduled from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. While the four party coordinators were polite, their involvement was minimal compared to our past experiences. Activities could have benefited from more structure and guidance, as we found ourselves helping to manage transitions and keep the children engaged. For example, one game was poorly explained, leading to low participation, and no replacement was offered when another activity was stopped for safety reasons. In the party room, there was limited direction from the coordinators, and we felt like we had to step in to keep things moving. This was a noticeable difference from the more hands-on and organized experiences we’ve had in the past.
A significant concern we encountered was the lack of transparency regarding pricing and communication about potential additional charges. After the party ended, we stayed briefly to gather belongings, load the car, and ensure the children had their coats and shoes. The coordinators were already cleaning, and at no point were we informed that we needed to vacate immediately to avoid incurring additional charges. Furthermore, no receipt was presented at the scheduled end time of 3:30 PM. It wasn’t until my husband inquired about it at the front desk before leaving that he was given anything to sign. Later, upon reviewing the receipt, we were shocked to find a $100 charge for two 30-minute add-ons, despite the fact that party had clearly ended before 3:40pm and no children were in the building past 4:00pm.
Although one of the charges was refunded after we raised the issue, we learned that these fees are automatically triggered by the franchise system based on when the card is processed—something entirely outside of our control. We were told the system allows a 10-minute buffer before charging additional time; however, our presence after 3:30 PM was solely to clean up and exit the building, which was never communicated as billable time. Adding to our frustration, I briefly reentered the facility after 4:00 PM to retrieve a balloon for my son, who's popped, and this minor act was cited by the director as justification for one of the charges.
Our experience that day stands in stark contrast to the exceptional service we’ve come to expect from The Little Gym. We value quality service and clear communication, and this lacked both. While one charge was refunded, the overall handling of this situation and quality of service during the party were disappointing.
Sadly, after this experience, we cannot recommend The Little Gym of Saratoga.

**Review of The Little Gym Experience**
My son has been a part of The Little Gym for nearly two years, and I can confidently say that the instructors have been nothing short of amazing. Until he started school, he attended classes twice a week, participated in camps, and even celebrated his 5th birthday (Saturday December 14th 2024) there. The instructors played a pivotal role in his development, fostering his confidence and love for movement post a challenging time, as he was born just before the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, our recent experience upon canceling our membership was disappointing, primarily due to an interaction with the owner on Saturday, January 11th 2025. We made the decision to cancel—not because of a lack of interest, as my son absolutely loved his time there—but due to some family trips we had planned. After canceling, we still had eight make-up classes remaining. When we arrived for a Saturday class at 10 am, we encountered the owner, who seemed unaware of our history and responded in a way that made us feel like complete strangers.
This lack of recognition was particularly hurtful for my son, who sensed the confusion and felt unvalued. It was disheartening to have such an experience, especially given the wonderful support and encouragement we have received from the instructors over the years.
In summary, while our time at The Little Gym has been overwhelmingly positive thanks to the incredible instructors, the interaction with the owner left a sour note. I truly hope this feedback encourages improvements in staff acknowledgment and communication, ensuring that future families feel as welcomed and valued as they should be.

By far the worst experience I've ever had with a business owner.
Before I continue, the teachers at The Little Gym in Saratoga are nothing but sweet and friendly, none of this is a knock on them at all.
I met the owner 2-3 times when in for classes and I felt she presented as cold, unfriendly and rude. I never saw her smile, she never said hi to my son, and I never witnessed her showing interested in the children or making anyone feel welcome.
When I politely emailed a question about a double charge on my account recently she seemed confused by the dates I gave her, so rather than call to clarify she “reviewed the tapes” (I can only take this to mean surveillance footage) to find out when I was there and when I wasn't. Then emailed me and seemingly hinted I was lying about the date I attended. (Something I would never think of doing. I'm not that kind of person!) Turns out her staff had forgotten to charge for at least one class we attended (my card was on file there) and so they double charged the next time I was there. A simple explanation would have been sufficient.
No matter how many times I requested, she wouldn't call me and iron out the confusion. As of this incident, there was no way to reach the owner by phone, only email. And I should add I was never verbally abusive or inappropriate in any of my emails to her.
Because I left a bad review she angrily emailed me, told me I'm "banned from the premises", and that she is “reporting the info to the authorities” and insinuated she was arranging to sue me. She also told me she kept my email where I was supposedly untruthful about the days I attended, when in fact if she had simply read back to my first email where I clearly stated I had been there on the day the footage showed, this would’ve cleared everything up. I still can’t believe a business owner would watch footage of a customer and email them telling them so.
I took my original review down as a goodwill gesture after she said she "may" speak with me if I did.
Then the icing on the cake: the owner Facebook messaged me claiming I was somehow responsible for an entirety different negative review on Google left by another individual.
I have absolutely NO idea who that person is.
I am usually the one leaving positive reviews when I have a good experience with a business, and it takes a lot for me to leave a bad one. So this is simply sad all the way around. Especially for my two year old son who just this morning was singing a song he learned in class, and doesn't understand why he can't see his teacher or go have fun there anymore.
So needless, as not once was I (or would I ever be ) disrespectful, rude in class or in any other way disruptive to this business . . . Or to any business, ever.
We enjoyed the classes, met a number other of other parents and grandparents there and greatly enjoyed our time.
Do NOT recommend!!!

The Little Gym is a wonderful place for toddlers to jump and play with peers. The classes are wonderfully designed to get kids engaged with one another and to explore apparatus to help train and use fine motor skills. Fun, reasonably priced and close to I-87.

Our 4 year old son loves coming here and playing with new friends 💙 Classes during the week are smaller and more manageable but they do have additional staff on Saturdays to manage the larger crowd

We love the Little Gym! My son has been coming since he was walking and always has the best time. The instructors are always cheerful and friendly, and do such a great job with the kids. We’re always guaranteed a nice, long nap after class.

My son will be 2 in July and he loves it here! We've only been to a handful of classes, but I can't believe the changes he makes week to week. He's so excited when he gets there and gets more confident with the activities and other children each time. He's an only child (for the time being) that stays home with me, so this is a great opportunity for him to socialize with other children his age. The facility is very clean and organized, while being laid back allowing the toddlers to do their thing. I highly recommend!

Our daughter Christine attends a weekly class. She seems to love it and gets excited when she knows we are heading to class. Everyone seems to know us by name, which is a nice feeling. The only negative is that I am a working mom so my class options are very limited. I totally understand that they are a new location and class options may grow as enrollment grows. Fingers crossed that they keep growing.

I have two boys (6) (7) who attend the Little gym. We absolutely love it here. I’m so happy we have this so close to home. My boys have so much energy and it’s great they have a place to burn it off. I really love the staff. Everyone is very friendly. I also love how clean the gym is. After every class I see the staff disinfecting and cleaning up. That’s so important to me.
I’ve also attended a superhero themed birthday party here. I thought it was fabulous. I can’t wait to celebrate my boys birthday here.

As a grandparent, I couldn't be more excited that this facility is now available to the children in this area. There are lots of different opportunities for different age groups. What a great present for a birthday or holiday - an experience or class rather than a single item!
The Little Gym of Saratoga is a great addition to the community.

Edit because I can't reply to the owner's response: there was no assistant in the classroom because Tina was watching your baby and Kym was manning the front desk. Kym entered the room briefly to collect the bag of balls and that was it. It is so disappointing that you refuse to listen to what your customers tell you.
We are really bummed to unenroll our son, but this Little Gym is too disorganized to warrant the cost. The first couple classes were great but the most recent ones have not been. During one class that the owner was teaching she was reading a packet if paper for the first part of class and not engaging with or supervising the children. She was the only adult in the classroom. I hope some kinks can be worked out in the future but I'd expect more enthusiasm than I've seen from the owner of a new business.

My friend brought her daughter (on my advice, because I had heard good things about the colonie location) and had a really negative experience as far as safety & oversight were concerned. I took my daughter and had a different experience. The instructors seemed safety-conscious and fun. I will say that the owner didn’t really engage with any of the families or kids despite sitting right there. I didn’t even know it was the owner until someone said so because I just assumed she was just someone who had to work and hated her job.

The Little Gym exceeded my expectations....and they were pretty high because we were so excited for my sons first gymnastics class!
My two year old son just had his first class and I had to drag him out of there. The front desk staff (especially Brittany) were so welcoming, just like people working with little ones should be. Extremely organized and you got the impression they really like little kids (who, let's be real, can be pretty annoying). The gym was perfectly set up, clean and the volume of the music interludes was just right. We did circle time then I was glad to see they were able to just run around and play on the equipment. My son took a few minutes to warm up but soon enough he was running around like the Beast his class is named after.
We can't wait to go back!
