As much as I want to love this place, I can’t continue giving them my money.
First of all, they are extremely expensive and impossible to book. To have any first access, you are paying more than $350/month - for ONE studio. Still, you have to know your schedule weeks out to get a class and you will never get to take a last-minute class.
There are some amazing instructors - Maria O being the best. Her Pilates is real, precise, and interesting, and her tone is neutral. She is the only one who asks if people need any mods or of its their first class.
There are other instructors with great flows, but terrible - even mean - attitudes. I have had to speak to them and to management that clients deserve to be treated kindly and with support. I have been discouraged and others yelled at multiple times. Management is rude and toxic, in particular David. I have chronic pain and have to modify moves for myself - I don’t even ask for instructors’ support - and David told me I’m the problem.
Most of the front desk staff is on their phones and does not even look up to greet you when you enter.
There are plenty of other small studios popping up and I am supporting them now. Club Pilates is a one-size-fits-all money grab with no community.

Love it here!! The staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. My fellow participants are kind and helpful. Love the variety of classes and Instructors! I was hesitant in starting a new program, but I could not be happier. Every level of fitness is accomodated and encouraged. Best decision to join Club Pilates New Hyde Park! My body is thanking me. ❤️

The front desk staff is great, and I enjoy the cardio sculpt classes with Diana. I wish the schedule would rotate between the classes and offer more of a selection for the 8 pm classes besides Level 1 Reformer.

Worst place ever. The manager is never accommodating and always changes her story. I was sick and missed a couple classes and had a doctors note and she still would not let me make them up. I have joined a new place and its so much better

I have called this location twice to hopefully get a cross promotion for our buisness and the front desk staff is extremley unprofessional i called 6/11/25 and 6/12/25 and both times i was told the "manager dosent have scheduled hours and she will only respond vi email" its like pulling teeth to get an answer from these people. I wouldn't waste my time here Bayside location is much nicer and actually has a manager on site who will provide their buisness hours and speak on the phone with you.

The studio has ridiculously strict policies. You have to book classes like almost a month in advance and almost every class has waitlist. Once you are on waitlist, they can tell you 2 hours before that you are off the waitlist and then if you don't make it to the class in that 2 hours you loose the class and of course your money. This is the way of them making the money. There is no room for flexibility or emergencies. You must cancel the class 12 hours before the class start but if they book you couple of hours before the class start from the waitlist, you loose a class.

Pilates has changed my life for the better! I joined post covid and as a senior, was lucky to have Maria O and Dawn as my go-to instructors. When I had to take a medical leave, Michelle was very helpful in accommodating my needs. And, I can’t say enough positive things about Brianna and Ryan. Immaculate studio, great instructors and competent and friendly front desk personnel make for an overall great experience.

WOW! Kudos to Club Pilates New Hyde Park. First impression, clean, organized and friendly. The instructors, although different are great. They are helpful and caring. I am addicted. I pilates my way to happy. It's the front desk that has me singing their praise. Briana and Ryan are exceptional. They are professional, informative, supportive, patient, etc. They encourage me to put my name on waiting lists no matter how full, cause ya never know. Voila! got in. Club Pilates is a very well oiled machine and runs very smoothly. I am a very happy member!!

I’ve been to Pilates studios all over New York State and Zenia was the worst instructor I’ve ever met. Do yourself a favor and don’t book her, don’t understand how she’s even qualified to teach..

1 ⭐️ for lack of client interest and service, and complete desperation for billing. Especially from Michelle.
Unluckily fell for the targeted ads on social media.
The class schedule rolls out the 25th.
If you begin your monthly membership cycle any time after that, you will lose priority over class time. (Something that is not mentioned at signup FYI).
Michelle is devoid of front-facing client servicing. Her client skills at best helps deter clients from becoming a member.
For all the money spent on marketing to lure new clients, sure could be spent on adept client service.

I absolutely loved my experience at CP NHP! I was a member for over a year but unfortunately went through a change in work and had to stop. I was so sad to end my membership but it just didn't work in my schedule anymore. Ryan signed me up and the process was seamless! I told her my availability and she suggested her recommended instructions and class types. I loved the suspend class because it was challenging but so fun! I was easily able to get into classes even if I started on the waitlist. Most times I needed those PM classes, and the waitlist moved throughout the day so I was able to get in before finishing my work day. I also saw results which is major key.

If I’m paying over 300$ a month and sign for a reformers Pilates class than I expect to use the reformer for most of the class. The instructor Dawn had us do planks on the floor, lunges on the floor, squats on the floor and you could literally do that at home.
I’ve been to so many classes at other studios and not one instructor wastes so much time having us do basic squats and lunges.
She also talks badly to the girl who works at the front desk about clients right after class which is just bully behavior and made me deeply uncomfortable. Not being able to shut your trap for 5 minutes following a class to let the people you make fun of at least exit the studio is baffling.
All in all you could get a way better workout on YouTube instead of attending her class. She isn’t kind or a good trainer.

This studio is the best place to begin your fitness journey!! All of the instructors are very educated and helpful. They go above and beyond to teach and accomdate each memeber and create such a welcoming atmosphere. The owners are super sweet and caring. They go out of their way to form personal relationships with the members and check in to see how everyone is preforming. Lastly the front desk staff is amazing!! All super kind individuals who are always there to listen to any concerns, provide assistance, and make sure everyone is happy within the studio:)

I refuse to pay it AND TOLD THEM
THAT and GUESS WHAT? Its been over a month and my bank is telling me
they are still trying to charge it!! They are charging it in small
Increments now!! 😂. WOW!!!
And they wont stop HARASSING ME. You guys either are going to stop or I WILL

As someone who has been a loyal member of Club Pilates for almost three years, I have mixed feelings about my experience, largely due to the administrative and customer service issues I encountered.
Firstly, I must emphasize that the Pilates classes and instructors at Club Pilates of New Hyde Park have been exceptional. I truly love the practice of Pilates and have benefitted greatly from the sessions I attended over the years. The community of fellow members and instructors has been wonderful, and that's what kept me coming back.
However, my recent attempt to transition to a different location closer to my home turned into a frustrating ordeal due to the club's inflexible policies and poor communication. When the new Club Pilates location opened in Fresh Meadows, I was eager to switch my membership. Unfortunately, the timing of the grand opening and my billing cycle did not align, leaving me unable to provide the required 30-day notice as stipulated by their policy.
This discrepancy led to numerous (19) attempts by Club Pilates of New Hyde Park to charge my card for services I was no longer using, despite my explicit notification of cancellation. The incessant billing attempts after my membership had been made inactive were not only frustrating but also reflected poorly on the club's customer service. My credit card has been block since I was informed I will be charged another month.
Furthermore, the billing structure itself is confusing. The discrepancy between class selection dates (from the 1st to the 30th) and the actual billing cycle (from the 15th to the 15th) resulted in me feeling unfairly charged for services beyond what I was able to utilize. I lost weeks of classes that I paid for in March.
In summary, while I highly value the Pilates program and the people I've met at Club Pilates of New Hyde Park, I caution potential members to thoroughly read and understand the membership policies before signing up. The lack of clarity and flexibility in administrative matters has marred an otherwise positive experience for me. If you do decide to join, ensure you are fully aware of the club's policies and billing practices to avoid the frustrations I encountered.

I love pilates and have been a member of club pilates in four different locations. Two in Los Angeles and one in Brooklyn before moving back to LI and joining NHP. Unfortunately it’s very hard to get into classes here. Luckily I work from home so I have some flexibility, but things come up and I can’t book my workout schedule a month in advance. I often lose credits or if I’m lucky to get into a class, they are a more basic one that I normally wouldn’t pick. They have way too many members for the amount of classes they offer. It’s become such a stress trying to make it to a class in the middle of the day. In all the studios I have been a part of, I have never had the same issues like I have here. They need to limit number of members or offer more classes. I’m going to try for a little longer but not sure I will be able to continue here unless more classes are added.

I’m a practicing physician who joined the club because of the back pain.
Unfortunately there was only one instructor who really knew what she was doing. In addition the booking process was very complicated and the slots were booked fast. So for the working person chances of having classes according to working hours were very dismal.
The owner was very helpful only until I was in a trial period. When I tried addressing these issues with the owner, after I signed up for 3 month period, he turned his back.
The button line, if one is concerned about the quality of the classes, smart and friendly ownership one should look for another location.

Instructors are great, management is completely unempathetic. As a business owner who provides customer service on a daily basis, I show more courtesy to my patients than they have to me. There's their ridiculous policy of being considered a "no show" even when you arrive a few minutes late - because there was an accident on the road and a 10 minute ride turned to a 30 minute nightmare. I not only wasn't allowed into the class, I was also charged a "no show" fee- for arriving late. I can understand not being allowed into the class, however, being considered a no show when you are physically present is so unnerving- especially when the girl in the front assured me I wouldn't be charged a fee. Long story short, I called to speak to someone about the charge, no one ever got back to me, I disputed the charge, and then this location charged me 4x the initial fee with an emphasis on how the account will be sent to collections if unpaid. The manager did not send me the contract as she agreed she would, nor did the owner reply to my email with my concerns. No understanding, no courtesy, policy is "policy". I have been recommending Pilates to so many friends and family - but definitely not here. The one in Bayside is so much more welcoming and accommodating, and there is a new one opening in fresh meadows. NEW HYDE PARK - a little bit of understanding can go a long way!

5 stars for the free class experience... but 1 star bc you need to book classes like 3 weeks to a month in advance bc 90% of the time you're waitlisted.. I'm not talking about 1 or 2 ppl waitlisted.. more like 6 to 8...
I would love to join but they either need to open more studios or have more classes

I have been a member of Club Pilates for a long time and during this time, I got to know a wonderful team, professional instructors and a high level club.
I feel stronger and look more toned as a result of my Pilates routine training and I just enjoy getting there every time.
For the new year I have decided to spread the love and support my club,
I am very happy with Club Pilates and highly recommend it!

Beyond inefficient system. Good luck booking a class on the app. About 90% of the time you will be on waitlist for classes. And when you take yourself off of a waitlist, it will not completely do it on their end and book you (on the rare chance the class even has space)
There are late fees (if you come in past 5 minutes) and membership freezing fees. Your credits do not roll over to the next month which doesn’t make any sense if booking a class is a hassle itself. I had to constantly look at the app to check if I was closer to getting taken off a waitlist for almost every class. This is my last month here and I haven’t been able to get a single class in for the past two weeks even after waitlisting myself for multiple classes per day.
The app glitches as well and takes you off the waitlists and the workers call you 30 minutes prior to a class saying they noticed you were on the waitlist and ask if you still want to join. I mean seriously? Not everyone is in Pilates gear 24/7 and lives 15 minutes away.
For over 200 dollars a month for 8 credits/classes, I would rather go to equinox.

I have been with Club Pilates for about three months now and I am loving it. I tried pilates because of back and shoulder pain and pilates def does help. Not only am i free of pain I am more flexible, i do need to work more on strenght but I do feel a improvement. More reasons I love this place is the variety. Each and every trainer are different and special in their own way. Dawn will calmly make you work your core till you cry with a quiet and patient tone and she ll make sure you are doing it right. Majorie will make you laugh with her energy but will also make you cry for pain! Michelle non stop walks around the room to make sure each and every person get attention and works your leg mucles so you can stand stronger. Maria made me work arm muscles i didnt even know i had. I can go on but what I mean is each and every trainer is very caring and you can tell they have experience and knowledge. Im glad I started this journey to better strenght and health with club pilates. I recommend them to anyone who has back, shoulder, or just wants to improve overall strenght.

Not Recommended at all!!
They know only to take your money; beyond charging for classes, they also charge for registration fees and freezing fees. The worse customer service I have ever met.
Zero flexibility! On top of that - they present reformer classes, but 50% of the class is on the mat (not using the reformer). The instructor didn't ask who was new to the class, was not friendly, and didn't correct us at any point.

Pilates has helped me through some of my physical challenges. I especially appreciate Maria's classes. I am very grateful for Club Pilates during this pandemic. I tried working out at home but it was very hard to be motivated and consistent. When I saw that Club Pilates was open, clean and safe I signed up and was happy to see several of my old instructors who I really enjoyed like Dawn. I’ve been going since November and I can see a marked improvement in my posture and core area. I cannot think of a better place to exercise and stay fit.

I never believed that I would love pilates as much as I do and I regret not starting sooner. The studio is clean, the instructors are so kind and helpful and I look forward to working out in a relaxed environment. In only 3 months, pilates has improved my posture and balance, and increased my strength in such a short time. I love how much I could do with my body with the reformer and in such a small personal space. I can’t wait to find what the future holds for me how my body will continue to transform! Love Club Pilates!

I (along with just about every member of the Club Pilates NHP family) chat all the time about what an amazing studio we have. We are all so lucky to have the best instructors, owners and staff of the Club Pilates franchise - bold statement, yes, but ask any member in the studio and they would agree! As someone who travels often, I have visited many studios so I can say hands down, we have the best instructors at NHP (and same instructors at Garden City)! I was ready to change my life by improving my overall physical and mental well-being with a low impact form of exercise (due to my bad knees) - I’ve done the gym and tried yoga and barre but wanted something that covered it all. I thought that was impossible until I tried Pilates! Highly recommend those of all ages to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
