Amanda is always so nice and gentle with her instructions. If I could give one piece of advice is that not everyone in the class is at the same level of expertise in a 1.5 class so giving modifications for others who might be struggling with certain moves would be really great. She had us do a move of an articulated bridge and extending of one leg holding it table, tapping it and posting it, which was very difficult and Iβm a new person in her class so I wouldβve appreciated knowing how to modify it in her professional opinion, but that was an offer Otherwiseβ¦ Amazing Amanda

I took a center and balance class with Laura today at the New Rochelle location. It was only my second Club pilates class and Laura was on point keeping us moving the whole time. At times, I wasnβt really sure what to do since it seemed like other people in the class were regulars, but Laura made sure to come over and give me discreet tips and help me in a way that felt So that I could still enjoy the class and keep up with everyone else. Laura was sweet and funny and made the experience really enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

After posting the complaint below, the team at Club Pilates reached out to me promptly to discuss my experience, which I deeply appreciated. While writing my original post, I was questioning whether or not to continue attending β but honestly, everyone has a bad day, including me. I haven't stopped going, since itβs my favorite CP. My experience 95% of the time has been very positive β the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the staff are highly skilled and normally quick to help and provide guidance, and the space is well maintained.
I strongly encourage you to try out Club Pilates New Rochelle by taking a couple of classes to decide for yourself.

When I needed assistance in the middle of her overly complicated routine, instead of adding the resistance for me, she told me how to do it myself. The routine itself was not at an appropriate level and felt unnecessarily complex. I felt like the class was a complete waste of my time since I spent more than half of it doing a simpler move while waiting for something I could actually attempt. Iβll need to decide how best to proceed.
