I did my first intro class with Kylie as the instructor, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a challenge but not overly difficult or uncomfortable. Even though I typically avoid automatically renewing studio memberships, I went ahead and signed up for the monthly 4-pack because of how much I enjoyed Kylie’s class.

I am just over 100 classes in and it’s so cool to see my body continue to change. I’m in my early 50’s and hyper mobile, so strengthening my postural muscles helps with everything. I have been able to restart other types of training that I had to pause now that my core muscles are stronger and more coordinated. Love this studio! Try as many instructors and levels as you can so you can tailor your training to what your body needs and you’ll do great!

Annie was a great instructor, I took a Flow 1 and a Flow 1.5. She was precise and clear with her cues. Worked our entire bodies throughout class, She was enabled us to use the springboard, reformer and box . Class was very motivating.

Bear with me, this will be a long review!
I’ve been going to this studio since April (just started level 1.5) and honestly can’t say enough good things about it. From the front desk to the instructors, everyone is outstanding. The instructors here are consistently better than at other CP studios I’ve tried on both the east and west coasts. Personally, I think Lilli (my absolute favorite!), Bailey, and Caroline are the best. They bring such variety to their classes, constantly remind us about proper breathing, and keep students motivated throughout. They also make the effort to remember your name, which may not seem like a big deal, but it truly makes you feel seen and valued. That said, all the instructors are highly skilled, and it’s really about finding whose style fits you best. I’ve had a couple of classes where I realized the instructor wasn’t my preference, but then saw other students asking about their schedule to come back again. It’s definitely worth trying everyone out to see what works for you.
The front desk team also deserves a shout-out. They are kind, welcoming, and accommodating every single time, and they remember your name too. The studio overall has such an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that makes it easy to feel comfortable no matter your background, body type, or experience level. Having worked in a similar role before, I know how challenging it can be to show up with positivity day after day, but they really do put their best foot forward.
I started with the 4-classes-per-month package, then upgraded to 8, and now I’m on the destination package. That progression alone shows how much I’ve enjoyed being here. I can’t wait to continue my Pilates journey at this studio!

Just out of a 1.5 pilates class and want to share- Abby is an excellent instructor! I have a shoulder injury she made adjustments for, the class flowed smoothly and evenly, time passed quickly and the workout was great. She has a calm yet energized vocal quality that is reassuring and supportive NOT abrasive, pushy or hyper. I appreciate her teaching method.

Came here for my free intro class. I have never been to Pilates before, so I was a bit nervous and wasn’t sure what to expect. Lisa was a wonderful instructor - she took her time with me and the other attendees, she had a calming voice and presence, and she gently helped adjust where/when needed. I also appreciated her walking through the equipment beforehand. The intro class was a fantastic way to see the different exercises you can do in Pilates. A nice, small, welcoming studio.

The best gift I’ve ever given myself!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this Pilates studio. I leave every class feeling stronger, taller, more relaxed, and somehow wholer — like everything in my body has been gently realigned. My posture improves, my mood lifts, and I walk out feeling better on every level.
Every single instructor is exceptional. Each brings something unique and thoughtful to the workout.
I’m older, and it’s had a huge positive impact on my body and energy. If you’re younger, I can only imagine the long-term benefits.
What surprises me is that I’ve actually fallen in love with exercising. It used to feel like a chore, something I had to do. I started with one class a week, quickly moved to two, and now I’m on an unlimited plan — and I can’t get enough.

I’ve really enjoyed my experience overall at this location! Every instructor I’ve had has been helpful and clear in their instruction, giving me a great workout! I look forward to every class. My only two complaints are 1. The classes are very hard to get into, waitlists can be very long and 2. The lights in the studio are very bright and in your eyes so can cause headaches

Instructors do vary, but I always get a good workout. The managers are very professional and patient, as are instructors. A special shout out to Kylie who explains everything clearly and is patient and kind while insisting on good form and precise movements. And a shoutout to Michael who gives the best adjustments and always pushes us to work harder to get stronger. Adding that Mary has a slightly different approach that complements the other instructors well. I wish there were a way to search by instructor when signing up!

I want to gatekeep Lily because it's already hard securing a spot with her but everyone needs a Lily! I enjoy her classes so much. She makes it a point to notice new people and learn your name. She focuses on breath to muscle connectivity, really explaining each move and where you should be feeling it. She will correct you and challenge you by really making sure you are getting the best out of your pilates calls.

I had my first full reformer flow 1 class today and I was highly disappointed. I went in for the 20 min intro a few weeks ago, and was excited to start my Pilates journey. At the beginning of today’s class, I told the instructor (TESS) that this was my first official class, so I figured she would be supportive. During one part of the class, I was doing something incorrectly and she came over and told the lady next to me and myself that we “need to pay attention to the cues”… this was so rude! As an instructor, it is your job to help as much as possible, especially for beginners! Overall she was not welcoming or helpful, the vibes were just dull.. this experience was not was I hoping for, and I would’ve never signed up for a membership if she had taught the intro.

I’ve been going to Club Pilates for almost a year and a half. Callie’s 1.5 is one of favorite classes. She works us hard but it feels good. This is a great studio and all of the instructors are good. The front desk people are always very nice and accommodating.
Update: Just took Clementine’s class. She incorporated weights for an extra arm workout and really worked us hard. One of the best classes I’ve taken here!

I was very lucky that a year ago I took an intro class and Kylie was my instructor that day. I look forward to my Sunday mornings with her. She corrects form in an encouraging and patient way. I’ve enjoyed Pilates so much so far at Club Pilates. I had never done it before but I’m in love with it now. My injuries feel so much better and my body feels so much stronger. I feel that the most important for me is the instructor because they can make the experience great or really bad. And I have 3 top instructors at CP UWS that I look forward to taking class with the most. Cali is literally the top one because she is so focused on her students in each class. She gives corrections during each class and makes the classes just the right amount of hard to really enjoy and feel the difference afterwards. I also really love Bailey and Meg on the UWS studios, they are both awesome and their classes flow really well. The only annoying thing is the waitlist and how some members just don’t even bother canceling to make the class available for others; instead they just don’t show up. I wish they were more considerate of others wanting to take classes rather than not giving a shit. Anyway, I love my Pilates journey for me! Lol.

Abby is such an amazing instructor because though I personally take her class because it’s challenging, she will also adjust it individually if someone needs it to be less so. You feel nurtured in her class because she really reminds you to do what’s best for your body that day. I registered for a trial. At the desk the woman was very friendly. That is said, the teacher (and I am one), talked to me in a very condescending manner because I didn’t have the grid socks. So I left, feeling not well at all.

i walked by yesterday. had a great exchange with the dancer who works the intake desk. so much so i showed up this morning for a 30 minute intro session. it was small and lovely. kylie gave me and my much in need of pilates body a warm welcome — and was so serene, clear, organized and concrete with her directions that within minutes i was in a groove. 30 minutes later i was ready to sign up for the month package of all you can pilates. when you consider how much one therapy session on the uws costs ( if they don’t take your insurance) this is a freaking bargain. and best if all. it does not feel like a gym, i’m not staring at my body in comparison w others, im in the zone without crazy pulsating music. it’s calm and catalytic both at once. if every teacher is like kylie i am beyond sold!’. please say yes and stick to it judith

Unexpectedly surprised, and pleasant. The instructor voice very smooth and relaxing. I worked on muscles. I didn’t even know you can work on and I felt electric afterwards. Will be doing again 🥰
