Textbooks and research are a critical part of acquiring knowledge, however, there remain lessons that can’t be found in a book and must be obtained through practical application, tinkering and trial and error. This practical acquisition of knowledge takes time to accumulate. 20 plus years of training experience has afforded me the opportunity to make mistakes, learn from these mistakes and identify what works while discarding that which is useless.
This isn’t a story of me however, this era designed me to be the best fit for you. Because what separates me from your typical trainer is the ability to adapt. This is what I preach. This is why we train. Adaptability is the primary strategy of survival for all living organisms. The style of

Charles is by far the best trainer I’ve worked with. He understands the body like no one I’ve worked with before. I have multiple injuries and previously, always started working out, and then had to stop from pain. With Charles, he was not only able to help heal my injuries, but I also saw major results. He was able to get me toned, adding muscle/strength to the targeted areas. He was a master at reading where my body was at during each session, and trained me accordingly. He was super focused and specific which I appreciated. And followed up on my nutrition regularly throughout the week.
I can’t recommend him enough. He deeply cares about his clients and is fun to be with, which is such a plus for me.

Charles is hands down the best trainer I’ve ever had. He has worked with me for over two years now to help me to get a handle on a bad back and deal with a lifetime of physical neglect. “Coop” understands so well how best to help people with injuries and has motivated me to become fit and happy with my body for the first time in my life. And he did it all over Zoom!
Although it was not my primary goal, all the work we have done together has helped me to lose nearly 50 pounds and drop three dress sizes. I am forever grateful for Coop’s expertise and good humor and look forward to continued workouts so I can keep getting stronger!

Coopfit is an amazing trainer. His sessions are always well thought out, tailored to my fitness goals and ever-changing (so I never get bored).
Safety is a top priority for Coopfit. I never start an exercise without precise direction and he immediately stops me if I am doing something wrong.
Coopfit also has a great personality - he makes every session fun and enjoyable.

I’ve been training with Coop for a bit over a year now and I could not imagine a better trainer. I started working with Coop after my physical therapist recommended him as someone who could help me start lifting heavy while also guardrailing against some injury proneness, and he did not disappoint. I have progressed dramatically in my squat, bench, and deadlift in a way that would not have been possible without him. His attention to form, his understanding of the small variations in exercises to make them better suited to a particular person, and his motivating energy are unparalleled. Finally, he’s an incredibly nice guy who I just enjoy training with. I could not recommend him more highly.

I started training with Charles via Zoom at the height of the pandemic in 2020, and it has been life changing. I worked out consistently before having kids seven years ago, but 3 babies later, I was struggling to find a consistent routine, was struggling with sleep, felt mentally and physically tired. Fast forward to today, about 15 months after we started working together via Zoom, and I have never been stronger or felt better. I had no idea the type of amazing results that consistent strength training could have. I love waking up to early morning sessions with Charles. He pushes me and challenges me, while encouraging me and tailoring our exercises to fit my needs. He is a wealth of information on diet and avoiding injury; I’ve had two knee surgeries and my knees feel great - I’m back to doing jumps, twists, other plyometrics that I never thought I’d do again. I could not recommend someone more.

Charles was awesome. I trained with him for 2 years before moving out of NYC. My goals were to stay in shape and focus on form and strength while working through some old injuries.
Charles was very focused on form and technique and gave great examples of why old techniques that I had didn't work (the major being my injuries from them) he gave me solid technique examples and would adjust the weights accordingly. I was quickly getting better and stronger every day. He's not a screamer or insulter. If you can't get through your reps, he'd lower the weight to make sure you got through them. If they were too easy to do he'd increase the weights but always knew my limits. He encouraged me knowing I would go the extra effort.
Charles had a plan for me and I was thrilled with my results!

So I actually enjoy working out!! However until I meet Charles I had no idea what I was doing!! He designed work outs for me making it fun , changing it up showing me exactly what to do and not to do. I was always doing what not to do! Working with Charles has been fun , educational, exciting but most of all I have seen RESULTS!!!!! Charles has also helped me tremendously with my diet and that is where I needed the most work. He is so easy to talk to answers my questions ASAP and has really guided me to a better way of eating and not being afraid of food! Charles will make you love the gym and working out. He’s amazing at his job, he knows what would and would not work for you. There’s no drill sergeant, one size fits all practice with him. Growing up, fitness and athletics came very easy to me. As I got older, not so much…Working out at the gym, on my own, was truly frightening. I started with trainers, and it mostly worked. Eventually, it became a chore and not something enjoyable, so I would quit. Then, I met Charles, my new trainer. Now, working out is fun. Charles makes sure you’re not just working out, but that you’re doing your exercises the right way…to better yourself all around. He gives you the encouragement you need to keep going when you think you can’t. He keeps you on your toes, makes you laugh, and makes working out fun. By the time my session is finished, I haven’t realized an hour has gone by. That’s how much fun it is to work with Charles! He’s you’re own personal cheering squad. Since I’ve started, I not only feel stronger but I feel more confident. My mind is clear, and I have a different mentality about exercise and working out then I ever did. I still have a long way to go, but I know it’s going to be a great adventure.

I have had my share of trainers in my lifetime but none of them were quite like coopfit. I started with coopfit via zoom at my all time fattest at 247 pounds During the middle of lockdown. I had let myself go but thanks to the zoom sessions I started to get back in shape which has now turned into the best shape of my life at the age of 41. what separates coop from the others is they were done after the 1 hour session. not coop he was there morning midday and even night keeping the suppprt and communication. He kept me honest and helped me along the way make better decisions which turned into habits. they say it's not crowded on the extra mile well... cool fit stands alone as the best of the best. if you want to finally make a change for good use coopfit.

Charles is an excellent trainer! I worked with Charles virtually during the pandemic to stay fit while staying at home. Charles paid close attention to my form, listened to what I wanted to work on, and made the workout fun! I especially wanted to work on hip strength after an injury and charles knew just the right amount of work to put in for recovery without overdoing it. I was introduced to Charles Cooperman in 2016. I was overweight. Unmotivated. When we first met my candid first traction is this dude looks so intense he’s never going to understand me, a middle-aged, out of shape transwoman. And then we talked. For the first time, I can honestly say I’m confident and comfortable with my physical trainer, Charles Cooperman. Since having back surgery ( a double fusion ) in 2006, I’ve never been satisfied with any other trainer. Charles is careful when working with me. He clearly knows what I am capable of achieving while also knowing my limitations, so I don’t injure myself during workout routines to strengthen my core. He is professional, yet has a very humorous side which is entertaining and makes you feel comfortable. He’s an outstanding trainer and very flexible with accommodating my difficult schedule. I highly recommend him.

When I came to Charles all I knew about fitness was that I liked it. However training programs and dieting can be very overwhelming as a beginner as it is a lot of digest and comprehend.
