Generally Speaking I love yoga as a practice. Core power was offering your 7 bday unlimited free trial which excited me because they have a teacher training program that I have wanted to vet the possibility of taking. However, every class I took I felt completely unwelcomed in and in a way even bullied by the instructors. I assume that is because I am not a beginner but prefer to be in beginner friendly spaces so I don't have to struggle through my practice. Either way it was not exactly what I was looking for as an energetic match although the classes were a physical match. "well that's a start."

This location is dank, dirty and smelled like feet. I ended my membership due to lack of cleanliness. Who wants to take classes in a filthy studio. YUCK!

Amazing studio. I saw Alyssa change the water filter all by herself and she gave me relationship advice. Everyone is nice 10/10
Give Alyssa a raise

This place is great - the teachers are wonderful and experienced, and when I returned this month after a pandemic hiatus I was pleased to see the sculpt classes have gotten harder! They're a proper workout. Get ready to sweat. The studio is clean and everyone is kind. If only there were more Core Power studios in Brooklyn!

I really love this studio-- the teachers are incredible and I always get an excellent workout here. I wish they had a mat storage program though! The rental mats are straight up dangerous, sliding all over the place. There's a slippery plastic coating on them. They're also $4 to rent and clearly very cheap quality. I can't always take my mat with me due to my work schedule requiring me to be out and about a lot of the day. Please consider allowing mat storage or changing mats please please

Love most of the teachers and classes. I wish they would enforce a quiet zone inside the rooms though. So many people are chatting before class begins and after class ends and itβs disruptive.

Have been going here for years and look forward to every class - the vast majority of instructors are phenomenal.
Docking one star because the studio could use a little more upkeep from managementβ half the lockers have broken hinges, thereβs been a dead bug in one of the lights for months. Overall clean but could use a little more attention!

I got the membership after the free week, I only enjoyed a week because I had to travel. I couldnβt freeze my membership and the reason I was given and not mentioned before is this β your account is under promotional membership. We regret to inform you that we are unable to freeze any membership promotionsβ.
I wonβt recommend this place to anyone!!

I have being going here for a few months and have tried various instructors. I ADORE Dustin Maxwell's classes and wish I could take them every day! 100% the best instructor I've ever taken, has clearly extensively studied proper yoga and doesn't incorrectly use namaste etc.
I have had a few negative experiences with some instructors, such as one who gripped me with her feet without asking, which 1) is considered incredibly disrespectful in Indian culture -- where yoga comes from
2) aren't corepower instructors supposed to ask before touching? I would have said no if she had asked to be touched with her feet.

The studio is very clean and spacious. The lockers are easy to use. Conner is a great instructor. His directions are clear and his knowledge of the human body, and yoga teachings, are perfect for a great session. I ended up drenched, and feeling like I worked out my whole body. Gotta be honest, I woke up sore the next day!!( I say this as a compliment to the session)

This boutique yoga studio is the type of place you keep coming to because teachers make an effort to get to know you and ensure that your experience is nothing less than fantastic!
I am always greeted warmly by staff and the classes always make me break a sweat. Post 5pm classes tend to be the most packed because of the work crowd, weekends are pretty empty after noon.
The studio is well-kept and more spacious than most Manhattan CPYs. Highly recommend especially if you are new to yoga, they give you a free week of classes to try!

I came a few times and class always started a few minutes late. This time I came to a 3:00 class at 3:01 and they refused to let me in. One of the clerk told me βThereβs a yoga to the people around the cornerβ. No thanks man I ainβt here for charity.

Nice studio. It's a hip neighborhood.
**CAUTION **
BUT if you are visiting from out of state they will charge you an additional $20 on top of what you pay. Lame especially since they advertise access to everyone across their locations. #disappointing
