I dropped in at CrossFit Wall Street for the first time and had an amazing experience! Coach Sarah was incredibly welcoming, super professional, and gave great cues throughout the workout. The atmosphere was friendly and motivating, and the facility is well-equipped and clean. Perfect place to train — I’ll definitely be back!

I was a drop in from CrossFit West Seattle today and had a fantastic time in Lola’s class! She was very friendly and immediately made me feel welcomed and partnered me up with a regular so I knew my way around the gym. Lola was also super helpful with pointers on my form, something that other coaches wouldn’t do for a drop in visitor, but I got some great snatch tips and accessories! I loved dropping in and doing a familiar activity with new people - really makes CrossFit feel like a community when you can get a great workout and make friends on either coast! I’ll be back when I travel here for work again for sure and recommend it to anyone looking to keep up their fitness.

I live in the Upper East Side and work in MidTown. I usually want a workout that is convenient, but I am happy to travel 30+ minutes out of my way to get:
- Small class sizes. They cap classes at 12 people which is generally unheard of in New York City, and it always means the coaches have time to correct your form and answer questions
- Great coaching and programming. The coaches care about their work, and they are all passionate fitness experts. The programming may not always be things I want to do, but it pushes me to work on skills, strength and athleticism that has never come naturally to me
- A wonderful community. It is nice to be around a group of friendly people who are fun and easy to be around. Everyone shares equipment and space and models kindness
I feel incredibly lucky to have found CrossFit Wall Street and I encourage everyone to give it a try.

I had never done CrossFit before, and honestly, I was a bit intimidated walking in for the first time. But from the moment I stepped into the gym, the coaches made the experience completely different from what I expected. They were incredibly patient and encouraging, taking the time to guide me step by step through each movement and ensuring I felt confident and safe.
The community is what truly sets this place apart. It’s not just about the workout (which is challenging and addictive in the best way possible); it’s about the people. Everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes, is welcoming and supportive. The energy is contagious, and the challenge makes you look forward to coming back—something I didn’t think I’d ever say about fitness classes.
If you’re on the fence about CrossFit, this is the place to try it. It’s more than just a workout; it’s a community that keeps you motivated and makes you never want to miss a class. Highly recommend!

My favorite CrossFit box in NYC. Stellar coaches and great programming, community is nice, and convenient location.
I love that CrossFit Wallstreet has a competition class and barbell class. A lot of gyms unfortunately do not provide training that caters to athletes who really want to be pushed and compete. CrossFit Wallstreet accomplishes providing tough training and still makes the programming scalable for other athletes. 10/10. Love this box!

I joined CFWS in 2019 and it was the best decision! Having recently turned 30ish when I joined and ZERO CrossFit experience - I could not have felt more welcomed, accepted, and invested in.
5 years later, I feel 150% stronger and healthier than I felt a decade ago. It has also been one of the best investments I have made for my mental health by far - it is a staple in my self care routine.
It is truly a gift to be part of the CFWS community! Sarah, Max, Natalie and the CFWS coaching team are the absolute best!

CrossFit Wall Street has great coaches, great programming, and a great community. Class sizes are small so the coaches are able to really help you work on your form and give the extra motivation you need to complete a workout. The programming has a nice variety and the coaches are invested in helping you learn new movements and improve your lifts. Finally, the community is what sets this gym apart. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming whether you are a new member, old member, or dropping in for a few days. I would highly recommend checking it out whether you are looking to join full time or are in town for a few days and need somewhere to drop in for a few classes.

I've been a part of the CrossFit Wall Street community for a while now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best decisions I've made for my fitness journey. The environment here is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making it easy for anyone—whether you're a seasoned athlete or a complete beginner—to feel at home.
The programming is top-notch, designed to challenge you at every level while still being accessible. The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to help you push your limits in a safe and effective way. They take the time to explain movements thoroughly and offer modifications when needed, ensuring that everyone can participate and progress.
But what really sets CrossFit Wall Street apart is the community. The camaraderie among members is truly special. There's a genuine sense of support and encouragement that makes working out here not only productive but also enjoyable. It's motivating to be surrounded by people who are just as committed to their fitness goals as you are.
The facility itself is also fantastic—clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything you need for a great workout. A lot of the equipment is brand new and branded to match the color scheme of the gym. The environment is amazing. It's clear that the team at CrossFit Wall Street takes pride in maintaining a high standard, which only adds to the overall positive experience.
Whether you're looking to get in shape, improve your fitness, or just find a community of like-minded individuals, CrossFit Wall Street is the place to be. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier CrossFit experience in a supportive and friendly environment.

I've done a few drop-in classes at this gym and it's definitely a 5-star experience. The programming is challenging and enjoyable, facility is very well planned and equipment is great, coaching has been top-notch from Sarah and Julia, and the members are very friendly. And most importantly, the vibes are on point! Most recently, coach Sarah was able to give me cues for BMUs (which are a work in progress for me) throughout the workout, and continued helping after class with some added cues and demonstrations. As an added bonus - after class you can walk a 100ft to any number of great bagel/coffee shops for a 10/10 NYC bagel/bagel sandwich...

An unbelievable community filled with athletes of all ages and skill level. The small class sizes create an intimate learning environment for all members that cannot be found at any other CrossFit gym. I joined CFWS to satisfy my competitive itch after college sports, but stayed because of the outstanding coaches and programming. Unlike other gyms, the owners at CFWS are constantly upgrading the facility and equipment to create the best experience for their members. Since joining, I've seen consistent improvements in every aspect of my fitness; specifically, gymnastics and olympic weightlifting. If you're trying to learn new and challenging skills, while competing with like-minded peers, look no further.

As a tall, lanky guy who has never been the most athletic, I decided to finally do something about it and hopefully get in the best shape of my life before i turn 40 next year. That said, I was petrified of Crossfit but decided to give it a go. Luckily, my neighborhood Crossfit is this one. There is no way I would have come back for even a second class had it not been for Keith and the rest of the team. They truly care about your progress and make sure to personalize the movements based on your level, and some how always have an eye on you...even when you think they're not looking lol. The classes are small, the other members are very welcoming, and the music playlists are sick.

Recently moved back to NYC and joined CrossFit Wall St. It was my first time trying CrossFit and here is my key takeaway: for anyone trying to get fit AND have fun, definitely try out CrossFit Wall St!
I have been weightlifting by myself for a while but never really got a great momentum, and CrossFit has dramatically changed the trajectory for me. Have been clearing my PR many times thanks to the very well structured program and awesome coaches here.
I am NOT a morning person and I am quite shocked at myself for waking up in the morning for 7am classes every weekday - and I am actually excited for these classes. Every day you get a different set of workouts (WOD) so you never have time to get bored. Plus, a great thing about CrossFit is everything can be modified / scaled so that you can enjoy the same workout as everyone else regardless of your background / skill level.
Lastly, the best thing about this facility is the people. All the coaches (Keith, Lola, Sarah, and Somerton) are amazing, attentive, and most importantly fun people to be around. Member community is also very robust. I am not a natural extrovert but everyone here is so nice and I never had any issues blending in & have fun together.

Just recently moved to NYC for a new job and had no interest in joining a gym just to blend in and work on the "aesthetic" muscles. As an ex-college athlete I was really looking to get back into a competitive athletic environment where hard work and a positive attitude were rewarded. As I'm new to CrossFit, I really appreciated Keith and Somerton's emphasis on form and cultivating a healthy relationship with intense exercise given the demands of my career.
CrossFit Wall Street combines all the benefits of personal performance training without the egregious cost. Plus, you make some great friends along the way... joining is kind of a no-brainer.

Coach Somerton Leste is adding to this journey the accessory training you need to get stronger and will put his magic on your diet that finally get the summer body you always wanted.
Don’t look anywhere else if you wanted to start CrossFit and change your life for good, it’s happening now at 60 New street, you won’t regret it.

I've been training here for the better part of a year and it's changed my perspective on fitness. On top of all of this, the workouts never get monotonous. You'll never stop learning new movements and find yourself getting a little better every day at old ones. I'm in the best shape of my life and am excited to see how much better I can get every time I walk into class.
This gym is particularly special because of the focused, but fun, community of members. The coaches are brilliant and prepared to elaborate on fitness philosophy if you're curious. Everyone is friendly, but nobody will let you sink into your comfort zone when you "don't feel like it".

CFWS is FiDi’s best kept secret! This is a place for any person, no matter their fitness level and goals (I seriously couldn’t do a push up when I started over a year ago). The coaches are great. They continuously give feedback and critique form during exercises so you don’t injure yourself. Class sizes are limited so you get individual attention. Everyone there supports each other so you’re never just dragging through a workout solo. You won’t regret joining CFWS and making the investment in yourself!

I've been a member for 6-months and I would definitely recommend CrossFit Wall Street.
First, this location is on the small size which means class size is limited to 8 people. Even with limited spots in the class, I've never had a problem getting into the lunch classes. They average 4-8 people most days, and I find you won't have a problem getting in as long as you register at least an hour or two in advance. I've only seen someone turned away a few times and that was for dropping in right at 12 to see if there was a spot open.
For new people to CrossFit the location size is a big advantage since you get more attention from the coaches. I started at a box that averaged 10-20 members per class and more attention starting out would have been helpful like at CF Wall Street. And for experienced CrossFitters it means the coaches time isn't consumed by new members either since the total class size is more manageable. Smaller class sizes also means there is no hiding during the workout. The coaches will push you and the other members will encourage you. Remember if you're going 4x a week, you're spending 4 hours each week with the coach and many of the other members. You get to know them well. It's a friendly crowd and everyone is down to earth regardless of what level you're at.
For those new to CrossFit, don't expect your standard boring gym workuot...legs on Sunday, back on Tuesday, blah blah blah. The workouts are constantly varied and can be intense. Some you'll be good at and some you'll be absolutely terrible at. But that's what makes it fun is seeing progress over the weeks. And everything is tracked so you can see how you are progressing as you go through cycles.
The one downside to this location is you can't drop weights which can make it challenging when you're at the end of a cycle and it's time to test your one rep max, or if you're trying to go heavy on the workout of the day. But the coaches will work with you to find an appropriate weight to challenge yourself, make sure you have spotters for one rep max, etc. without shaking the building down.

To say I love CrossFit Wall Street is an understatement. I've never been the fastest or the strongest ...or really athletic in any way...so the idea of CrossFit was originally intimidating. All of those concerns were quickly erased. This is a fun community where the coaches and your classmates encourage and motivate you to do your best. The class sizes are small, capping at 8 which allows for the coaches (whom are extremely knowledgeable and amazing) to pay attention to each member. The workouts are modified to accommodate your ability and they will make adjustments if you have any injuries or issues, but you will still get a great work out. Safety is a priority. There is always a warm-up and they go over each movement before the workout to ensure proper form and technique, whether you've been to one class or attended for years. The facility itself is always clean with individual bathrooms/showers (a major plus since I HATE locker rooms). I cannot say enough great things about CrossFit Wall Street. I am honestly at the best version of myself and that's thanks to CrossFit Wall Street (sorry for sounding corny, but it is true).

As a self proclaimed cardio junkie & yoga enthusiast, I was a little hesitant to try crossfit. After dealing with quite a few injuries while training for a race last October, my husband convinced me to give it a try. Thank goodness I did - specifically at Crossfit Wall St. Not only do I love the workouts, but the coaches are incredible and both my husband and I have met so many supportive and equally competitive friends!
I should also mention, 2 months after becoming a member, we found out I was pregnant with our first baby. I was able to continue crossfit throughout my entire pregnancy with my last class being the night before I went into labor. The coaches were amazing at helping me scale workouts, while also keeping me excited, challenged and building strength. With all those scaled weighted pull-ups I had my eyes on post pregnancy unassisted pull-ups (which happened!). My ability to rebound after giving birth was 100% due to the approach we took throughout my entire pregnancy. I can’t express enough my gratitude for the support of the coaches and friends/members at crossfit Wall Street, they really have become like family.
I’m currently 5 month’s post pregnancy and able to run race quality pace pain free w/o having really run much at all. That’s the beauty of crossfit!
Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend Crossfit Wall St. If you’re considering dropping in for a class, or signing up for a membership - DO IT, you won’t regret it!

If you want to get in the shape of your life, have fun and learn amazing new skills, then CrossFit Wall Street is the place to go. Keith and Mandy and the rest of the team are super friendly and create a great atmosphere. The small class sizes means that the level of instruction is second to none. I can’t rate the place highly enough.

Dropped in here for a month while I was in NYC for work. I have to say that they made me feel welcome from day one. The coaches Andrew, Justina, Summerton were all great and gave me some great tips on improving all my lifts. The members here were also super welcoming and supportive. Great community there and hope to visit again the next time I’m in town.

I have been going to CFWS for almost 4 years, the experience, the coaching, the class is the best CrossFit program I have ever been to in 4 years. The coaches are hand on with coaching you on your form, the daily program is easy to follow and most of all they are small classes. Small classes of 8 is awesome compared to boxes with 15 people.

I'm a member at the New Street location and the Fulton location. The new Fulton street gym is phenomenal. Huge space, small classes, and basically private instruction for a little more than the cost of regular gym membership. As someone that needs modifications for many of the workouts, the small classes and relationship with the coaches is a life saver.

Great teachers that take the time to make sure that your form is good so you don't get hurt. Small class size (8 people max) makes for personalized attention and a good group of regulars make this a go to.

I travel extensively for work having dropped in at over 35 different locations and CFWS is the benchmark I use to compare all others. The coaches (Paul, Keith, Andrew) focus on form and quality. They coach every aspect of your workout from warm up to wod. RX has to be earned by demonstrating proper technique prior to a WOD.
The community is close and friendly. Great overall experience.

Small classes and good instruction. Not a one size fits all type of place, each workout is scaled to suit the athlete - but its always a challenge.

CFWS is more than a workout experience. Its a community of like minded people looking to make a difference. The small classes allow for the coaches to watch your technique as well as encourage and challenge you to take risks. I've been a cross-fitter here for 4 years. CF has become a part of my lifestyle. I encourage anyone looking for a new way to get fit and meet a great group of people to visit our box. New Street or Fulton.. You will be most pleased!

Since moving to New York City five years ago, I have been to several crossfit gyms and CFWS has been the best one. The coaches are top notch and the small classes are great because of the personal attention it engenders and the people you see regularly. The strength programs and daily workouts are also well prepared and help you see (and track) your improvements. Great gym.

This is the first CrossFit box I visited after moving to NYC last year from training at a top-level CrossFit box in New Zealand with some very dedicated individuals. After meeting and getting some get-to-know-you coaching from Keith and Paul, I needed to look no further. Along with Andrew and Mandy, as well as the small class size limits, I had found the best gym for me.
CFWS has a programming method and a coaching style that is very successful for a variety of member's goals. They are able to replicate their technical coaching style with other trainers without losing individuality or personality. Great simple cues with a personal touch and attention to detail from all of the coaches here have improved my lifting skills and gymnastic abilities. I have a long list of new personal records in the last year...Thanks, CFWS!
(And anyone who lets me blast the thrash metal needed for my PRs is awesome in my book! )

I have been working out at CFWS for 4 years now. The owners / coaches take pride in not only teaching Crossfit w proper technic but also make sure to create an environment that is friendly; but at the same time competitive enough for us " want more" without over doing it. Unlike other boxes CFWS takes special attention to customize each class to meet the needs all individuals skill levels from beginner to experienced . I would highly recommend a membership or drop in at CFWS.

Love this place! Wanted to try crossfit for the first time about 2 years ago. Tried a few places in the city and liked Crossfit Wallstreet from the trial class on since the coach corrected my form from the first day on where other gyms had not (and I had expected not to have perfect form!).
Small classes, extreme emphasis on form, will adjust any workout for you in case you have any mobility issues. I recovered from ACL surgery - skiing accident - and went back to classes 5 weeks after surgery. Couldn't do half of the normal movements but got my own adjusted workout which didn't feel less than any normal workout every time I went (which was a few times a week)!
Wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Such a great group of coaches and people!

I've been a member of CFWS for almost 2yrs and can honestly say I am excited to come to the gym every day. The combination of small class sizes, high quality coaching, and community sets CFWS apart from other Crossfit gyms as well as the broader fitness universe. The coaches provide tons of personal attention and are rigorous about technique / safety while also encouraging you to push yourself and reach your goals. And the community here is second to none, providing a welcoming and supportive environment both inside and outside the gym. Highly recommend that you check it out!

I have been around the world and always make a point of hitting the local CF Box wherever I am. I've been over 80 different affiliates.
CrossFit Wall Street is among the very very top of my list. It's so good that I purposely choose hotels nearby whenever I'm in NYC.
What separates the good CF boxes from the bad is coaching, programming and more coaching. These guys have it down and make sure I'm safe, my form is correct and I have a great CF workout.

I've been with CFWS for over 3 years and I have no plan to leave. I'm L-1 certified and have visited many CF boxes both in the city and around the world, but CFWS remains my favorite for a number of reasons: 1) The coaches are all very knowledgeable and thorough. They can accurately spot what you are doing right or wrong and coach efficiently to improve your technique. 2) The class is small (<8) and intimate which insures a great deal of attention to every athlete. 3) Every CF box claims they have a strong community but let's face it, not every box has one. CFWS has the most welcoming and friendly community I know of. Everyone takes the time and effort to get to know you and make sure you feel comfortable at the gym. I highly recommend it and hope to see you soon in class!

Started doing crossfit 2 years ago here. Some observations:
Coaches - They are passionate about crossfit and are always looking to improve their coaching technique. Not only have I gotten much stronger and improved my technique since I started, but the coaches have also improved their coaching. They regularly attend seminars and training courses.
Facilities - They have multiple private showers - with soap and shampoo. They also offer locker+laundry service for an extra fee, which is great for my schedule. I simply leave all my gear at the gym. Facilities aren't fancy, but have everything I need.
Classes - A big advantage of CrossFit WallStreet is that classes are capped at 8 people. This allows the coaches to keep a close eye on everyone. They often break the class into 2 groups when they are teaching complex movements, so that they can more easily watch everyone and give feedback. After visiting other crossfit boxes in my travels, I realized how rare it is to have such small classes.

The small class size (8 people) and emphasis on technique & form set CrossFit Wall Street apart. You can count on getting personalized attention - more like personal training than a standard fitness class - and proper instruction on movements. Complex movements are taught with progressions so that members work within their own capabilities, but still challenge themselves. + I love the mix of barbell work and classic metcons!

I have been going to CrossFit Wall Street for over 2 years now and I love it! There is a maximum of 8 people per class which means that you get a lot of attention from the coaches. They know each student's ability and make suggestions on how to scale the movements or WOD if necessary. I recommend this place to all my friends. Because of their popularity it was often difficult to book a class in advance at the New Street location but they recently opened a new box on Fulton Street offering double the amount of classes!

I joined CrossFit Wall Street back in September of 2015, and couldn't be happier with my decision. The trainer's go above and beyond not only to improve your strength and conditioning, but also make sure you do everything with proper technique and keep you safe. No CrossFit "horror" stories when it comes to this box. I couldn't see myself working out anywhere else!!

Started my CF training here and cannot say enough good things about this box. The coaches are great, classes are small so you receive plenty of attention and advice, the other members are very nice (great community - lots of fun parties) and the programming is very good. Highly recommend to anyone visiting downtown.
