Its a great gym but the only complaint I have is that they absolutely bomb you here with how loud they put the music, I get putting decently loud music for the workout atmosphere but noise level here is overkill.

Very friendly and helpful staff but my first time there was bad. They literally closed early for “sanitation”. The one at east meadow never did that for me and I’ve been going there for months. Other people at the bellmore location also said closing early happens often. So be aware of that. Literally had to drive to another one crunch location to finish my workout

Worst experience at this gym, I requested my personal training to be cancelled 3 months ago and I still get charged every month which I have to dispute with my bank. I’ve been trying to get in contact with a manager for the last 4 days, I get told I will be called back which never happens. Josh at the front desk tells me to “just pop in during the day” but can’t give me a specific time of when the managers will be there.

A true motivational place to workout. Alan the personal trainer, is a great coach and gives great encouragement. He states the purpose of each exercise. He pushes you to your potential. Alan has helped me build my gym confidence, thank you!
Update..a sauna has been added to the gym !!! There are many new machines, a stacked snack area for protein and drink amd a sauna !!!

I love the gym. The only thing I think it's needed is to them to take the space where they use for kids THAT IS ALWAYS EMPTY to make a whole gluts space for women. With new equipments so we can work out our gluts in peace in a separate space. The gym doesn't have MODERN equipments for our booty butts. The equipments for that are old and heavy. Please take my suggestion. You guy have that space make a good use of that! The rest is very much OK and I love it

I’ve been on this mission for two years and soon i will be hitting my goal of hitting 200 pounds after starting at 300!
But i couldn’t have done this without the help of the best personal trainer Lauren. Lauren has not only helped me in the gym but as well as guided me with my actions outside of it. Lauren i will be forever grateful for helping me achieve goals that once looked impossible to me. You have taught me everything i know at the gym and for that i thank you.
If you’re like me and you need to be held accountable or could use guidance in the gym then i can’t recommend enough one of the amazing trainers at bellmore crunch and look no further than Lauren, no matter what part of your journey that you are in!
Update: I have recently reached my goal of hitting my target weight of 200 pounds, and today I am at 195 pounds. To Bellmore Crunch and my trainer Lauren, I express my gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much!

Recently started going to the gym again and was hoping to have a good experience at this location but unfortunately it has not been the best. The front receptionist/ staff member Nicole is super rude!!! Have never met someone so bitter. From the moment anyone walks through those doors, her attitude and hostility radiates. The constant eye rolling and yelling needs to change.

This is how it is every night. 2 of the washing stations have not been working for 2 months. Sauna and men’s locker room and bathroom stinks every night. Floors are dirty and never clean. No one ever cleans the bathrooms ever for the two hours that I’m there. It’s always dirty basically every day of the week. Outside in the gym half the times the paper is out so you can’t wipe your hands or wipe the machine down if you feel like cleaning the machines. I came from retro fitness which was clean most of times to this gym because it’s closer to my home but definitely the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been inside. I have never seen anyone clear ever . Picture is one a little part of the big picture. Tonight I took a pic to show how it is basically most of the time. Floors and everything smells like mold an body odors. I don’t far go in the sauna which I actually wanted to use, but I don’t go in there at all because of the smells.

Terrible experience at this location. I signed up for personal training for 3 months with their 3 month price package. While signing the electronic agreement, they failed to review their automatic renewal policy with me. On the agreement, where it asks for my initials to agree to the terms, they wrote in YES instead of explaining the policy to me and having me initial. FRAUD! I went in person and tried to reach the manager by phone on several occasions. He never reached back out to me and refused to give me a refund. I reached out to my credit card company and after they took the money back, Crunch continued to try and charge my now locked credit card. Then, they have the audacity to charge my debit card without my permission. FRAUD!

WORST GYM EVER. The parking is horrible barely any spots in both the front and back lot. Back lot has about 10 spots to begin with. Once you get inside the gym is beyond crowded with no open machines. Better off going to a different crunch location or different gym brand all together.

Fabulous gym that has a large assortment of equipment (most with multiples of that type of equipment), a variety of classes to choose from, is super clean, well maintained, very knowledgeable trainers and the nicest front desk staff! They just added beautiful saunas to each locker room which is amazing after a workout. They also have on site daycare with such caring staff that allows parents with little ones to get their workout in as well! HIGHLY recommend!!

The equipment is never broken. They are so accommodating with changing the TV stations people who go there and the people who work there are so friendly yes sometimes the parking is challenging, but honestly, I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes for a spot. The Hydro massage is so relaxing if that’s what you want to do after you work out . And it’s also very affordable

One suggestion-the treadmills are not designed for running. When I run to speeds over 8 mph, some of the belts tend to skip. Not all, but some
Also, no treadmill has a "cool down" or fixed speed button (like 4mph, 6mph, etc). Cool down or quick speed buttons help a lot when increasing or decreasing speed without having to press multiple buttons to speed up or cool down. If any equipment could be upgraded, I'd recommend those. Or at least throw a few in for those who actually run on the treadmill. 95 percent of people on the treadmill don't actually run there, which is fine, but just an insight.

This gym is conveniently located near my house, and although parking can be hectic, it’s manageable. However, it's nearly impossible to get into classes on weekends due to overcrowding. The CLASSES ARE PACKED, with people practically on top of each other. I’ve tried signing up for classes through the app, but that doesn’t solve the problem, as no one seems to monitor or enforce class capacity. Every single weekend—both Saturday and Sunday—it’s the same issue, and it’s simply NOT SAFE to have people exercising and swinging their legs within a foot of each other.
Crunch, if you can’t accommodate all your members, please consider adding more classes at later times on weekends, or don’t charge extra for this type of membership. I come to the gym to enjoy my workout and take care of my health, not to fight for space in a class I’ve paid for.

You can’t work out in a group here apparently. I thought crunch was a gymnasium. We a family group of 5, were approached by the manager Anthony who said we could not work out in a group. He insisted it our policy. I’d like you the reader of this review to consider another location especially if you don’t look like all the other members. I am extremely disappointed, I will be reaching out to corporate to ask to see the policy. This definitely has to do with something else besides the gym rules.
P.s. no gym buddies folks. Hopefully the owner reads this review and reaches out.

Been going here for a full year, I lost 80 pounds training with Derek. To help keep me on track, if we can't schedule a session for some reason, he will send me excersizes to do on my own. This helps me have better independence when I go, very helpful for someone who is new to training it helps give me more confidence. Since last year, I no longer have hypertension and my diabetes is cured 💪(not even pre-diabetic) i am off all medication.
Shoutout to the people at the front desk that make me feel welcome every time I walk in. And a special shoutout to everyone that remembers I get water every time!

I've been working with Dylan every week for about a year now and I can happily say that he has helped me achieve my personal fitness goals in becoming stronger and more defined. The staff is great. I have worked out with multiple trains and i must say they are all great. My trainer is Dylan. He is very nice and polite and as amazing at kicking my a$$ and putting me in shape. Jeff P. is an amazing personal trainer at this location! He's unique in that he specializes in calisthenic movements. He has been training me to master pull-ups, dips, handstands, and so much more. crunch Bellmore has great Zumba classes and a pretty friendly staff. I started my training about 2 months now and it has been a great motivating experience. Jeff, my personal trainer, started with helping me to see what I was eating and how to decrease those things I’m eating (fast food, pizza multiple times a week, etc) keeping me from missing those foods and truly losing those inches. I’ve lost about 13 pounds, and 4 inches from my waste since I’ve been with Jeff. It’s the quality with him. You want to see true results, Jeff is your guy.

I have been to various gyms and worked with personal trainers for years but have never found one that was as excellent as Adam White. He has so much knowledge about anatomy and physiology and adjusts our sessions with particular attention to my specific needs, as I am a senior. I have been going to Crunch since 2018 and I have had 4 trainers and Jonathan by far has been the best. My workouts are the best and I always feel great when I leave. He works me hard but he knows what I am capable of. He is very professional and always shoots me a quick text to confirm my appointment. If I can’t make it he always tries to get me in a different day. He is very knowledgeable about health and fitness. Crunch Fitness in Bellmore has changed my life in more way than I can imagine. One of the key things that allowed me to succeed was the help of the staff/trainers. I've had several trainers while working out at crunch.
I have trained with Derek Arnold for almost 1 year and he has taught me more than any YouTube video ever could. Background:
I’ve worked out most of my life on an average level and I’ve been in the military so I have some experience.
In May 2023, I decided that I was seriously tired of having a body I wasn’t proud of and really tried to improve my nutrition and working out.
I stayed consistent, eating what I thought was right, and working out a lot…..and… I DID IT ALL WRONG.
After months of trying to learn the right macro balance (carbs, fats, proteins) for my body and trying to cut in the summer and bulk in the winter, I was not any better than when I started.
I got a body scan about every 3 months to see my progress and in March 2024, the body scan results were worse than when I started, I was fatter, and lost muscle even though I worked out 7 times a week, twice a day…I needed help.
I thought about hiring a trainer but I was worried about getting stuck with someone that wasn't helpful and wasting my time and money.
I met Adam at Crunch and talked to him from time to time. He’s super personable and would give me game changing tips, simple things like position your hand here, don't bend too far this way, changes that really made a difference.
I told Adam about my experience and he started explaining some changes that might help me which really made sense.
Also, tying into the intro, he showed me his abs and told me how he stays at 10% body fat. I was impressed because he doesn't look skinny like a lot of people who are lean, he looks fit.
I cannot hire a trainer if they are not in shape. I need to know that the person telling me to work hard puts in work themselves. They have to know the struggle so they can help alleviate mine, lol.
Adam helped me with the following:
1-Nutrition: I know exactly the amount of Carbs, Fats, Proteins, Calories to consume.
2-Workout plan: I now have a custom plan tailored for my needs.
3-Miscellaneous: Recovery and overtraining, weak point training, tailored ab workouts, and tons of questions answered.
Quick Results:
After 2 months of adjusting my plan, I had a body scan done on May 22. I lost 10 pounds of fat, gained 5 pounds of muscle, and my body fat went 24% to 18%.
Amazing results!! To be fair, these are totally beginner's gains, but for the first time since May 2023, I finally know I’m heading in the right direction. Let’s go!!

My 2 daughters needed to start the gym but I told them we needed the right Trainer for each of them because the each have different goals. After researching, I chose Adam E to train them. Good luck canceling your membership here. I called on behalf of my deceased father since there’s failed charge attempts and they told me I have to come in to cancel it even though I live several states away. Clearly a scam of a membership.
Update:
I've called many times, and have been told multiple times I'll be called back by the club manager, since apparently she's never there when I call somehow and nobody really knows when she works. Still no call, still an active membership that nobody can cancel, still telling me that i have to travel multiple states to cancel this. I even had one person tell me they were wondering what happened and why they hadn't seen my dad in a while. They knew exactly who he was, but yet, still nothing.

This Crunch Fitness could be great, but it misses the mark. The location is convenient whether you ride the LIRR in your daily routine or if you drive parking is ample. The young lady at the desk is always helpful and knowledgeable. However, the bathroom set-up is the worst. They really need to do a shower upgrade and possibly a locker upgrade. The height of the curtains is too short and just does not look or feel clean in there. I am slightly spoiled with the Crunch Fitness Bensonhurst, but I get that was a "Select" location, but for businessmen like myself, the shower area is critical. The equipment in the Bellmore site was standard and cover all workout target points. So if you are just looking for the equipment needs this is the spot. But if you need a shower/locker, I would suggest looking around at the other options once you get eyes on. It may work for you. Remember gyms have to fit into your lifestyle easily or you won't use it or enjoy it as much.

If you don't want to be part of the Saturday Night live skit on cancelling your gym memberships (if you are unfamiliar with it--it pertains to the inability to cancel) , be really careful here. They will not let you cancel over the phone & make you come in person (or find someone to represent you to go in) even if you are away at college; 5 or more hours away. Make sure you understand exactly what the fees & cancelation policy are, another words -- caveat emptor (Buyer beware!)

Always unbelievably packed. I tested in the morning, noon, and evening and it’s been the same. Parking lot is always occupied.
If you’re willing to wait to use every weights machine, then you should come here.
