New here came with a friend My review is for the cleaner not the whole gym!!
I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of the cleaning lady at this gym i believe her name is Jamie I’m not sure. The equipment is always wiped down, the floors are consistently clean, and high-traffic areas like the locker rooms and woman’s restrooms are maintained.
It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it really shows. Not only does the gym look and smell fresh while she’s there, but I also feel more comfortable and safe knowing how well it’s being taken care of. Cleaners often working behind the scenes, but their efforts make a huge difference in the overall experience.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication it doesn’t go unnoticed! And hopefully your management acknowledges it too!

Crowded busy gym all the time, I`ve tried to go to this gym in different multiple times like 6am, 9am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm, always packed with people, I am not able to do my normal workout, I have to wait and wait every single machine or bench. you guys need to solve this big issue for your gym members before they leave and cancel their membership.
Honestly I am thinking of canceling my membership soon.

After relocating to the Niagara Falls area from the Deep South and going a couple of years without a gym membership due to constant moves, finding the right gym was a top priority for us. My wife and I toured four gyms in the area, taking advantage of complimentary guest passes to evaluate each one thoroughly. We took into account cleanliness, quality and age of equipment, classes, friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and overall cost (including monthly fees, startup fees, and annual fees). Hands down, Crunch Fitness came out on top in every category.

We’ve had gym memberships at upscale, non-chain gyms across four different states over the past 15 years, and we can confidently say that Crunch Fitness - Niagara Falls ranks right up there with those. On 5/1/2024 a member, a complete stranger, made comments about me being “out of shape” in the locker room. I brought this up to Crunch staff who downplayed this as “joking around” and did nothing. I cancelled my membership on the same day. This place advertises a judgment free zone but does nothing about members who make comments about other people’s appearances and act like schoolyard bullies. If you’re looking to get in shape or feel better about yourself go somewhere else. I have never been insulted by another member at a gym like this and the response from Crunch was enabling this member’s hurtful and discriminatory behavior. If you are looking for a supportive environment to improve yourself this is not it.

If the sign and website says you’re open at 7 on weekends, I expect to pull up and the doors are open at 7. Second time now that I have come on a weekend morning and they opening employee is late. By excess of a half and hour/45mins. Ridiculous. Other than that, it’s a fine gym. But seriously, dozens of people trying to get an early morning workout in and they’re all waiting in the parking lot. I get employees get sick but the company should have a backup plan.

Buyer beware! Crunch Niagara charges an annual, recurring fee and does NOT provide notification when that will renew. We had to pay a full annual fee for an unused membership b/c we missed the deadline to cancel it by five days (there was NO NOTIFICATION from Crunch that this was coming up). We had to pay the full year fee in order to cancel the ongoing additional monthly cost (but not before they FIRST charged just ONE MORE monthly fee). Their response: "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do" and "geez, tough lesson." Be sure to add those dates to your calendar b/c they will NOT help you if you don't.

It is pretty gross here. Set my phone in the holder on the elliptical and took it out to see chewed gum inside. Disgusting. Don't ever see employees cleaning, but thankfully many of the people working out do wipe down machines after their use... But not all. I feel bad my insurance paid for my membership here because the environment is perfect for breeding illnesses.

Everybody is nice and minds their own business though, which is great.

Great after the updates. I wish the hours for childcare were later than 11-11:30am on Saturdays. They close so early and a lot of times I'm not able to get there until 11.. Its OK for the money. Biggest complaint is cleanliness and machine upkeep. Treadmills are stained with sweat, wipes are usually either empty, overflowing, or both. Whole place could use a good cleaning. The crossfits, all but one feel like they have a bushing/bearing problem, they are not smooth (been this way awhile). And it would be nice to get a friendly hello and a have a good day when leaving (much like Cherktawaga) other than that...

My favorite place of all!! The people there are very very sweet and helpful with any question you have and even walk you through anything!! If you hurry yourself somehow they help you and are very concerned!! The place is always clean and they have so very many things you can choose from as well as trainers!! Great gym been going for years. Some of the employees are a little weird but great place for workout. Employees can help u if they are not busy. People are nice for most part. The gym has it's annoying kids sometime but it's okay. The gym is great for doing a wide variety of workouts. The gym has LOTS of equipment to do workouts, I recommend it. I give it 4 stars not 5 because there are weird people that workout here sometimes people record others for fun. So watch out for weird people. They were never there when I first came here 10 years ago. They are a recent thing probably cause of social media. Anyway I LOVE this place. This review is for general public.

I love this place staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially love the way they greet you at the door. They have different programs for you to join, the price isn't bad at all. The equipment is great also and it's not hard to learn just go in do the work you'll be so happy that you did. It's time to get healthy. I've met some amazing people too. Honestly I love crunch fitness. Between the Niagara Falls and Tonawanda locations, they are my two favorites. The gym can get a bit busy at times but Google does provide a live popularity update to show you the best times to go or if the current time is busier than usual.

Pros:
-Have hydro massager and tanning beds available
-large facility, which is good for busy hours
-showers and locker room
-includes a dry sauna with any membership
-have a many machines to chose from for any workout desired.

Cons:
-no dry sauna in women's room
-sometimes the gym is a bit cold while trying to workout (but honestly notHong really worth complaining about)

Overall I'm satisfied with this gym. I encourage anyone to come give them a try.

Crunch employees just seem to not really know what they're talking about.. i signed uo for the 7 day pass after that i was going to get a membership, i only wanted to tan. SO, the first time i go they give you lotion & have to sign a waiver, the second time they lied to me & said they dont have the lotion there.... the third time i wasnt allowed to tan because you have to sign a waiver, when i told him i did & its my third time being there dude really ignored me & looked into his phone. Altogether an annoying experience

I paid the extra for tanning and everytime I tried to use it an employee was not around. Often times I left without a tan. I tried to get a refund in the store and they said corporate had to do it. I contacted corporate many times via email and no response. The gym is gross and not upkept. Terrible service, terrible customer appreciation, and terrible cleanliness. Definitely a no go.

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. OR. SIGN. UP! I used to go to this gym and it really wasn't bad. I stopped going because I didn't have time to go anymore so I called the gym and spoke to someone about cancelling my membership. The guy over the phone was very helpful and canceled my membership and told me it may take up to 60 days for the membership to terminate. 2 months go by, and the money stopped coming out of my account, my membership was terminated. About 3 months after that, I receive a call from Crunch Fitness collections department stating I owed them over $160 because my membership was never cancelled. I told them they cancelled it, and it's been terminated for months now, and they told me the only way to cancel it was to go into the gym where I signed up and cancel it in person. So either the employee working at the gym lied to me, or the collections department seriously needs to reach out and talk to the gym where my membership terminated. I told them I didnt owe them money (because I don't), and they continued to harrass me with phone calls. I threatened to get legal council involved if they didn't stop harrassing me, and the calls stopped for a couple weeks. Now, theres a collections agency calling me and harrasing me telling me I owe Crunch money. I explained my situation to them, and they said the same things the collections dept. said. I refuse to pay them money because I was told my membership was cancelled, they stopped taking money out, and I haven't been to there in almost a year. Please do not sign up with Crunch, you are just a number to them and a payment, that's it. If you are already enrolled at crunch, please speak to the customer service reps at the gym you signed up at and cancel your membership. Because if you move away, or just decide not to go there anymore, that's the only way you can cancel it apparently, and make sure you get a copy of your membership termination in writing and SAVE IT!!! Sorry for the long post, but I really don't want people to end up in my position being wrongfully harassed by collection agencies for money I do not owe. Thank you for your time in reading this.

The reception staff are unfriendly. The gym is completely co-ed; there are no private areas just for women. They're always behind the curve on new classes compared to other local locations. They cancel classes without letting clients know. But some of the instructors are great (Lisa B. And Cherish) and the prices aren't too bad.

I switched from planet fitness to crunch due to availability. But I guess it comes at a price of cleanliness. This place has been filty the 3 times I've been here. I only just started coming here. The first 2 times were in the middle of the night and the 3rd time middle of the day. At night I didn't even know anyone was working there was no employee in sight. Planet fitness the employees were always cleaning. Keeping the lockers clean and the floor clean. I'm regretting coming to this gym.
