This place is th worst crunch in WNY. No staff, filthy men’s facilities. Horrible gym etiquette on members behalf. People leaving their towel and bottle of water on 1 of only 5 benches for 15 minutes while they used other equipment. I politely asked when she will be done and got a snobby entitled remark. Member working out directly in front of dumbbell rack oblivious to others. Tight facilities 2 squat racks, what a joke. I’ve worked out at all the crunch facilities in WNY and Congratulations Williamsville you get voted worst in WNY. Maybe if there was some good management and a actual staff it could be ran like a real fitness facility. Post more signage on gym etiquette.

Couldn’t agree more with Brian’s review below. It’s a corporate gym. What I mean by that is management are people who don’t workout. After the remodel, they went down to one squat rack. Enough people complained so they got another one. Put blinding lights in the cardio area. I no longer make fun of people wearing sunglasses at the gym... because you need them.

Trainers here don’t know what a eccentric movement is or proper range of motion. Showing clients mostly machines. Once again corporate not knowing anything. Make sure your trainers take a kinesiology course.

Great place if you want to wear jeans, do quarter rep squats and curl in the squat rack.

As a member of this gym for over a decade it kills me to have to quit. This used to be my favorite place to be but over the past few months the changes have been terrible, the staff has been worse and this company is a bunch of scam artists. This place will always hold a special place in my heart, it's where I've meet some great people learned a lot about exercise and has helped me get through a lot of hard times. Unfortunately my gym is no longer here, it's been replaced with less equipment, less competence and more ignorance. It's really sad this chapter of my life needs to close but I can not continue to support what this gym is now. Oh and if you want to take classes good luck, the few I tried to go to there was no instructor for and was apparently canceled without any notice. Oh and if you like basketball that not an option anymore. Oh and if you use the spinning machines, they sold them, all of them. It's really unfortunate that crunch had to buy this place and turn it into what it's becoming. I hope everyone finds a new friendly environment to work out at and good luck with your future endeavors!

Be careful about joining. If you try to cancel they will not let you without going in to sign. The local manager where I had been going told me they could send it to me electronically but Andrew, who refused to tell me his last name at the Williamsville branch told me I had to go in. They will have a few complaints to various sources.

The updated look and feel of the old "World's Gym" definitely makes it worth the $10-$15 a month for a membership here.
