nice staff and cheaper of the two facilities in the area. down fall is it's small and the cardio equipment is out of date. but for simple strength exercises (weights) and older people classes, it's good.
Edit: added stars. 2 stars was unfair because of older cardio equipment. Staff really are great there

Many have said that Darwin's is a place to get where you want, oftentimes both physically and mentally. Old school, good music, plenty of room even at peak times. Staff is second to none. Clean facility, experienced trainers, and a quite great (& sometimes entertaining) membership base.

I have been lifting here since 17 years old. Love this gym. Squat racks and the bars hold up to 600lbs, so that is nice. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is top notch if you like to lift somewhat heavy.

Old school, small-town, family owned, community minded gym that has everything you need to get your fit on while staying in Fredonia. If this gym were in NYC or LA or even Buffalo the reviewers would be writing in to say, "The locker rooms need to be redone. The equipment needs updating...." But this is Fredonia and of the options this place has it all including a nice little list of class offerings to go with an affordable weekly or summer long rate.
