Dwight is truly an amazing trainer! He has helped me find my way back to working out again and enjoying it. I had never worked out with gym equipment (weights etc.) before but he gradually built my confidence and showed me my strengths and how to push myself. He has a holistic approach and is always open to give advice and recommendations on workout modifications to practice at home as well as on nutrition. His gym really feels like a safe space, everyone working out there is super nice and it’s always great vibes.

Disclaimer: Long review alert, lol.

I decided last year that I wanted to get fit again and remain that way. I usually get fit for birthdays and trips. This time, I wanted it to be a long-term change. I also wanted to focus on being consistent and more disciplined.

I saw one of the girlie's post her results on her personal page, did some research, and locked in. Best decision! DTD does it all! I'm a little over 1.5 months in, and I see the transformation. The people around me are complimenting the transformation. I feel good. My energy is up, and my skin is glowing. I'm not at my full goal, YET, but I'm well on my way.

Dwight is attentive and pushes you past your comfort zone. He is constantly motivating you and gives positive praise at the end of every lesson. Eventually, you have no choice but to believe it. LOL. Most importantly, you get results. I've experienced one to one sessions and shared sessions. Dwight thrives on equity. During the shared sessions, he gives each of us what we need. I don't think I've even done the same routine as the other person in the room.

The other clients are also personable. It's a really stress free environment. That's very important after a long day at work. The space is also intimate and inviting, so you're not visually over stimulated.

I didn't expect to make it this far on my fitness journey. But here I am!

DTD Fitness was pivotal for me in kick starting and maintaining my fitness goals. The gym is easy to get to whether traveling by MTA or car and during off-peak hours parking is fairly easy. Dwight is an amazing trainer. He takes the time to explain the purpose for each work out, focuses on form and your personal capabilities so you do not injure your self yet he pushes you to new levels and doesn’t let you quit on yourself. I appreciated my time under his program and the sessions were challenging and fun. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I worked with Dwight for 3 months. From day 1, he's met me where I was. I came in thinking that I wanted to simply put on muscle and learn the basics of working out, but as my confidence grew, so did my goals. In addition to adding muscle, I started working on eating better, decreasing visceral fat, and improving endurance.

Dwight is patient and pushed me when he saw I could go farther. I enjoy his sense of humor and just being around him too, which I think is important when I was spending time with him three days a week.

It's clear that Dwight takes pride in everything he does, and that carries over into me having more confidence too. I'm very happy to have made the investment in my health and my future with him this summer.

I started with DTD fitness in August 2023. Initially I was skeptical of starting with a trainer due to my busy schedule and I wasn’t sure how flexible he would be. I work 12 hour days and my shifts don’t end until 730PM. AT DTD Fitness the hours to schedule training sessions with Dwight are very flexible and aligns with the long hours I work. Need a 5am session? He will be there, need a 8pm session he will be there at that time too.

Dwight is very informative and personable which makes the sessions very engaging. He tries to understand your goals, helps you to understand the necessary steps needed to take in order to push through and remain consistent. You can tell he loves training and he truly ‘wants his clients to win’. The sessions are individualized to meet your strength and capability.

All in all, I do not regret my decision to join DTD FITNESS. The gym is well equipped, clean and well kept. The other client are also friendly. I have found the training sessions to be very beneficial, and I feel more confident in my ability to apply the knowledge that Dwight has shared.

I’ve been training with Dwight for the last 5 months and can say that he is a great trainer. I started training with him after being out of shape for a long time and he really eased me back into working out. He is very conscious about form and avoiding injury. He also has done a great job of meeting me where I feel comfortable while also continuing to challenge me. His schedule is super flexible, he has is own gym space in a convenient location, and provides individualized training at a good price. I would recommend him to anyone at all fitness levels.

The first step I took toward my self care journey was signing up with DTD Fitness. I was always full of excuses as to why I couldn’t stay consistent in the fitness world. From day one of signing up, Dwight made sure the excuses were a thing of the past. He turned them into motivation and endless goals. He believed in me when I didn’t and pushed me when I couldn’t push myself. That I could be a better version of myself. He doesn’t just give you instructions. Dwight makes sure you are retaining the workouts, down to the names and form. That you are sticking to working out on the days you are not training with him, and meal preps. With the help of DTD Fitness, I made a lifestyle change - and in the process, I lost about 3 inches from waist - and I feel amazing. Dwight, the owner is the most personable trainer I have ever had. The workouts are fun, interesting and he doesn't hesitate to jump in to provide demonstration. I highly recommend DTD Fitness. I have worked with head trainer Dwight for a few years and it was definitely worth it. I no longer need to work with him because he has taught me so much and made me confident to take my Fitness journey into my own hands now. He keeps the workouts very interesting and you will have to work hard. He doesn't allow his clients to fail or say no. Lol. I hate burpees but I had no choice. Lol. Joining the DTDFitness family has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I don’t say this lightly, I have tried other personal trainers and have not meant anyone as attentive, professional and inspiring as Dwight. Before training with Dwight, I would honestly describe myself as someone who lacked motivation, had literally no physical activity and could barely make it up a flight of stairs without gasping for air. I tried many of those fad diets, in hopes of getting quick physical results, not realizing one’s fitness journey is much more than your physical appearance. When I first started training with Dwight, I did not disclose that I had pulled my left hamstring. Without bringing it to his attention, once I tried to squat, he realized something was wrong. Dwight is very knowledgeable in his craft. He’s motivated me on several occasions where I felt like I wasn’t good enough and felt like giving up. He’s pushed me to challenge myself and has been there to help me celebrate my highs and has been there to push me through my lows. Dwight has made me realize that my fitness journey is much more than going to the gym, he makes it clear that your mental health is just as important as your physical fitness. It is with no hesitation that I strongly recommend DTDFitness!

I started training with Day To Day Fitness in January of 2020 right before the pandemic hit and it was the best decision of my life! Dwight (the owner) is hands down the best trainer I’ve ever met. From the way he trains and speaks to his clients, you can tell it’s more than just the money for him. Dwight actually cares about not only your fitness goals, but about your health. He takes the time to get to know his clients and he tailors his program to fit his client’s needs.

Dwight is very professional and supportive. Dwight has helped me reach goals that I never thought I could’ve. He makes training fun instead of making it a chore.

Even during the lockdown Dwight still made sure to check in with me to make sure that I was ok and to ask if there was anything I needed. Dwight had zoom sessions to help his clients continue on their goals and not fall victim to the pandemic slump.

I would wholeheartedly refer everyone I know and those that I don’t know to Day to Day Fitness. Five stars all the way!
