I checked the dynamic flow class with linnea on Tuesday at 7 PM. We introduced ourselves and shared where our heart, mind and body are that day. It was a nice icebreaker to get to know everyone. The class was not too intense but definitely strength exercises, breathing, and typical yoga moves. A great balance of everything. I haven’t been to a yoga class in a couple years and I wasn’t struggling. When you enter your right in the studio itself. Mats and anything you’ll need is provided. I didn’t use the bathroom, but I presume they have one. I’m not sure if I saw a water fountain so I would suggest bringing your own water bottle in case.

The Daya yoga studios are all about community. From monthly community gatherings, workshops and yoga classes for all levels, this is a beautiful place to tap in, move your body and practice yoga. I go here multiple times a week <3

I love this studio because it offers such a great variety of classes. My favorites are Power Hour and Mat Pilates—they really push me to work harder. The instructors are inspiring and engaging, and they’ve created a welcoming, community feel that keeps me coming back.

Cozy and welcoming for practitioners of all levels, Daya Yoga Bushwick is breath of cool, spring air. Anna has several studios and I’ve been to both NYC locations. Bushwick standouts for me are the M-W Power Hour classes held over lunch.

Employee was on their laptop in the studio typing the entire class, this was especially annoying during shavasana. This employee also instructed the front desk employee to organize the wall of props during class, which was distracting.

Being at Daya Yoga in Ridgewoood was comfortable and welcoming upon arrival. Mats, blocks, and water are provided. The rocket class with Jodie was a good blend of stretching and sustained movement. I’ll be back next time I’m around.

Have only been to one class so far but WOW it was awesome! It was the sound and yoga class and was lovely. I've done a lot of yoga but I am not great at it (aka: very inflexible) but did not feel self conscious in the slightest and was a very down to earth experience.
What stands out to me is their amazing customer service and elegant super user-friendly website and the fact that they offer pop-up package deals for those that cannot afford standard $ yoga prices (ahem, me sadly).
They even offer yoga work studio trades where you help out a certain number of hours a week and get an unlimited pass (don't quote me on this but its something of the sort), which is always lovely when studios do this.
They offer really good standard classes and super fun and unique ones like 420 yoga, glow yoga, art based creativity focused yoga, etc...and love the variety!
My only suggestion is to perhaps limit the available spots, even if just by 5 less people because it was quite crowded which doesn't provide as relaxing of an experience.
Also, they have the seemingly coolest retreats and just signed up for one! Can't wait. :)

I really adore this yoga studio- both locations. Everyone is super welcoming, warm, every teacher here has their own style and energy they bring to the practice. I wish I could still attend yoga here but I moved to a new neighborhood. 🥹

First class here today with Dynamic Flow - challenging enough to get sweaty but not overwhelming. Teacher (Mackenzie) was not overly serious and vibe was positive. Really enjoyed the class!

I’ve been taking classes with Daya for many years. The space is small (though their ridgewood location is much larger), and sometimes the classes can feel crowded. But I have never had an issue with that. The students are generally polite and don’t mind accommodating each other.
I really like the variety of classes at Daya. Each teacher has their own style, so it might take some time to find the right fit for you, but Ania (the owner) is always inspiring.

To noisy for me as it’s just next to the street, then there was too many people in a room very close to each other and I unfortunately had a teacher that I got frustrated about cause she was doing 3-4 different yoga poses/stretches for same muscle group. She did this twice, which is almost the whole class instead of doing a little bit of everything. There was no construction of a good yoga plan in her yoga class.

I absolutely LOVE this studio! The vibes are on point, with the plants, the atmosphere, the energy, the warmth. I also really enjoy the instructors that bring a wealth of knowledge and backgrounds.
There are tons of classes that cater to different times of the day, different flows/ styles, breathwork, sound healing, etc. I truly feel like they embrace the yogic lifestyle and built a welcoming community around it.
I’m very grateful to have found this gem and excited to continue my practice here. 10/10 highly recommend to anyone, whether new or experienced. ♥️

I really wanted to like this place and maybe it’s just not for me. Reviews claim an inclusive environment, but I felt like the teacher made yoga competitive. Not my thing. Also WAY too small for the amount of people they let into classes. They need to cap class sizes to like 10 for anyone to comfortably do yoga. I was so close to another person that during a forward fold my head touched their back area. Not my scene. Not worth it.

I've been a student of this studio since before the pandemic shut down. This new location is a bit smaller, but the heart is just as big as before. This community of teachers are very caring and highly communicative. There are a great variety of classes to choose from, along with other events such as Kirtans and Asana Intensives.

Daya yoga studio taught me that yoga is so much more than poses. Go to Ania’s classes if you want to feel empowered through your vulnerabilities. I gladly travel from Rockaway beach again and again to this studio that is truly a gem of a place that strengthens my mind, body, and community.

I really wanted to like this studio. It was my second time - I went to a flow class once that I loved, so when my normal studio canceled their Saturday afternoon 90 minute advanced workshop I thought I’d give this place another shot and try out the 75 minute advanced power yoga on Saturday 2pm.
You should be more clear about what this class is, in the sense that the requirement is to be able to do extremely advanced inversions and arm balances with no warm up. I was expecting It to be Difficult and was hoping it would be, but found myself unable to do literally any of the poses and ended up leaving 20 minutes into the class out of frustration.

Options of classes as welcoming to our practicing yoga. This place is really about building community and one can feel it with the welcoming staff and the caring instructors. The only feedback I have is that I wish they could enforce the no shoe policy in the studio more. So many times people walk in with their shoes and grab blankets and blocks across the room while many are getting ready for class.

Super friendly staff and a great variety of classes. I love the space. It’s very inviting and cozy. Tea and water is always available. I did an intro month as a new student for 50 bucks which is a steal. I don’t think I could afford it after this month is up but it really is amazing. The teachers are all lovely and bring great energy to the classes. Vibes are high. Bright blessings 💫

For 20 dollars a class you shouldn’t be packed in like factory farmed animals. From 8 to 8:05 they added at least ten people to the overfull class. Doors should have been locked. Smelly room and confusing/confused teacher.

No matter what time of day you feel like doing yoga, Daya has a class coming up. They also offer a variety of styles and some of the greatest teachers I've ever had. The studio has a relaxed "om" vibe—whether your practice is deeply spiritual or not, it just feels good.

daya yoga is truly a unique space that is completely authentic. the staff really care about the students, the space, and the classes. and it shows. it's honestly so much more than a yoga studio, it's a community. with such a wide variety of classes and workshops, there is something for everyone, but always an opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone!
in my seven years of practice, i've never felt such a special connection to a yoga community. from my very first day of class, I never wanted to leave.

This place is the best. Warm, inviting, down to earth, no pretense, amazing teachers. Took a bunch and never had a bad class. Can’t say enough good things. It was the first place I started yoga and wish I could go there forever. I’m sad I just moved away from this neighborhood, and hope one day I can find a place as good again.

My friend has been going here for almost a year and is really loving it. I was in NY just for a few days and was invited to tag along. Dropped in on the dynamic flow class with Kevin. I'm almost six months pregnant and was anticipating not to be able to do much, but the class was extremely welcoming and Kevin repeatedly adapted poses for me. There is a lovely community feel with chants and breathing exercises beforehand which felt very grounding. Drop-in fees plus mat were $20, but first-time student monthly unlimited pass was only $40. Had I stayed a bit longer I probably wouldve taken that deal and come back a few more times. Lovely studio alltogether.

I found Daya two years ago and it was like coming home. Two expansive rooms -- one filled with light and plants, the other cosy and deep like a cave -- both with amazing acoustics and such beautiful energy! I especially love their Kundalini classes and the variety workshops every weekend! Definitely recommend stopping by for a class, you won't want to leave ;)

Mostly liked this studio, but the Saturday kundalini instructor Zoob used his cellphone for the entire class while everyone else was chanting. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
Studio is big and clean, good balance of classes, and good price otherwise.

Daya is an amazing space of love, community, and of course yoga! When I first moved here I tried out a bunch of different studios in the bushwick/williamsburg area and this is the one that stuck. Ania and Meghan are very friendly and supportive, and are extremely helpful if you're a beginner, wanting to expand your practice or for seasoned yogis. There are so many different styles of yoga offered too, that there is something for everyone.!

I have been coming to Daya for almost two years. I look forward to classes--to move my body in ways that sitting down at a desk, on the bus, on the couch do not offer, and to open my mind and heart through the teachings that each teacher infuses into their class. Ania's class will kick your butt and you will find places inside yourself you have not yet explored; Meghan's class with live music leaves me feeling refreshed to go back out into the world; Carlos' flow is energizing and I leave with my heart's capacities for compassion extended. Jess' class is an amazing way to bring energy into lazy weekend mornings. Liz, Tyler, Maggie, Kacper, Linnea, Suzana, Kiersten--and all the teachers who's 7am class I've never made it to! --are an amazing crew of teachers, each completely dedicated to their practice and students ...it is one big family at Daya. Everyone who walks through the door is openly and genuinely welcomed in. In Bushwick it can be hard to make real connections with new people...everyone in coffeeshops seems to be on their laptop, bars can be a place where you only talk to the people you went there with, and even while sitting at communal tables at restaurants in the neighborhood, I never really venture to talk to strangers. But at Daya, I feel connected to a wonderful group of people who are all working to open their bodies, minds and hearts together!

AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL STUDIO AND TEACHERS. The second you walk in you feel the good energy and positive vibe here. There are a wide range of classes with amazing open and wonderful teachers. From Yin and Restorative to Power and Vinyasa flow, there is something for everyone. I came here when I first moved to Brooklyn and was instantly in love. DAYA means COMPASSION and you truly feel that when you arrive. There is an amazing beginners special $40 for a month of unlimited classes which is an amazing deal and so worth it! After you come once you will crave more DAYA I PROMISE you!
