I’ve had nothing but a great experience with this gym! The facility is always clean, and the trainers really pay attention to your needs and goals. The atmosphere is always positive, and everyone here is supportive and welcoming. I also appreciate how flexible the scheduling is they’re always willing to work with you and make sure you can get your sessions in. The trainers do a great job of pushing you in the right way to help you meet your goals. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here!

Evan and his team are the best trainers I've ever worked with. They are true professionals who can help with building muscle as well as remedying back and hip issues. I have worked out at MANY gyms over the past 40 + years. I LOVE Top Form. The trainers are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The workouts are clear, concise and tailored to my needs and ability. It is a little expensive, but honestly the sign on the wall says it all! Your health is NOT an expense, it's an investment. I believe that wholeheartedly. Cannot recommend the trainers enough at Top Form. They helped me achieve my goals of losing 20 pounds and two inches of fat while gaining muscle. Within six months of training at Top Form, I was in my best shape since my 20s.
Prior to living upstate, I was a member of many personal training programs and small class fitness studios in NYC, and none of them helped me with my fitness goals the way Top Form was able to.

Evan is knowledgeable, confident, and unafraid to give detailed lessons. I've watched him deal with those new to fitness and veterans, young and old, man and woman. His ability to handle multiple people at once, yet be focused and give one the sensation of undivided attention is a boon. His programs are designed for each person, to each person, and I can say - do not be afraid to ask him questions.
He is the sort to sand the rough away, and streamline effort; so that The Goal may be reached efficiently, and within the parameters of an individual's safety buffer.
The gym itself is bare bones - and that, for me, is best. It is simplistic, yet has everything that anyone could need. The atmosphere is independent; small conversations when a workout is done, but no one takes up the floor or wanders: Everyone is there to meet The Goal.
I recommend this gym to anyone who is serious about starting fitness, or getting their momentum back.

I am not very independent when it comes to working out in a gym, I am like a fish out of water, floundering around on my own; however, I want results. I enjoy the direction and attention, that I need and get, during my workouts.
It may seem pricy at first, but the cost of one month will only get you two weeks worth of personal training at any other gym, plus the cost of regular membership. The size maybe small, but it’s not over crowded and your not waiting in line but you go in, complete your workout and leave.

I have been training at Top Form in Delmar for a number of years and have been exceedingly happy with the trainers, their knowledge, and the facility/equipment. I have a few areas of concern (primarily my lower back), and each trainer takes their time designing a program that strengthens my core, protects my back, and keeps it interesting. The staff establishes a positive, yet challenging, atmosphere that encourages you to do more. The friendliness of the other people training is a bonus. I highly recommend Top Form!

If you’re looking to better your health and fitness and live in upstate New York. This is the place to go. Smaller gym with amazing one on one training that changed the way I take care of my body and health. The educated trainers go above and beyond to ensure you will maximize your results and will push you to your limits. If you don’t like using big public gyms, or if you don’t know where to start when walking into a gym. I cannot express to you enough to sign up at this gym. Top form is worth the investment in not only your body but your health. Do not second guess pricing your body should be your most important investment and Top Forms personal trainers will not disappoint.

Great environment and nice people however I did not find their personal training to be progressive. I would feel tired post workout however long term no results were shown. I have recently switched to a new program (one that has been proven to be effective) and I’ve seen more results in the past 3 months than all my time spent at top form.

For me, accountability is everything. Many times I have cycled through periods of going to the gym on my own but inevitably my motivation wanes and I go less and less…until I stop going. Also, I never felt I got anywhere taking group classes and I had no idea what to do with myself in the weight room. Then I found Top Form!
Top Form was the everything that I didn’t know I needed. When you first sign up, you are given a fitness assessment with the owner, Evan, that allows him to pinpoint your strength and weakness. He can then formulate a plan to help build your body up in the areas needed to help safe guard you from injury as you continue to increase your fitness level and reach your personal goals. Throughout the work outs Evan and his trainers are positive and motivating, and are immediately receptive to if you have any discomfort or pain when performing a particular exercise, which will then be modified to suit your personal needs. They give you the accountability and thus the motivation to keep returning as they are personally invested in your success, but are also forgiving when you fall off the fitness wagon for a bit.
Because of the kindness, support, expertise, and how I have personally felt my body, energy level, and overall mood chance since starting here, I simply cannot recommend Top Form enough. Consistency is key, and if you can commit to that, Top Form is worth every penny.

I am a member of the Top Form gym in Delmar. What motivated me to obtain personal training services was a recent medical diagnosis , where weight lifting would be helpful. So vs taking meds, I signed up for a 2 month membership. Well, 1.5 years later I could not be happier with the services I receive at Top Form. Not only has my medical condition improved by the training services but my overall well being has also improved dramatically! I feel great after workouts! Tons of energy. I am also always so impressed with the professionalism of Evan and his staff. They are well educated on physical fitness, so I never fear injury, and they are patient and pleasant. I would tell anyone that if you think you are successfully working out independently, give personal training a try. Workouts are much more rigorous now than when I was on my own! Plus, my form on weight lifting was way off. With the proper form, I see much better results. Truly, the entire experience with Evan and his team has been tremendous. I also enjoy the clients at Top Form. Everyone always seems so pleasant. It is overall a great environment which has added value to my life! Thanks to the entire team at Delmar's Top Form!

My teenage sons and I love Top Form! The trainers tailor the workouts not only to each individual's general goals, but also to their specific and immediate needs. For me, that means a workout customized not only to help overall strength training and conditioning, but which also includes adaptations for my middle-age nagging injuries. For my sons, this means a customized long-range plan to work on both strength training and agility. Each session is designed thoughtfully. The trainers (as well as the other clients) are motivating and supportive and make the workouts fun!
