Fantastic class. The instructor makes you feel included, the workout is great for all levels (you do as much as you can), and it definitely feels like a one to one training session. Very clean as its a no shoe class (please wear socks). Loved that it was challenging compared to other workout classes around the area.

I’ve been traveling for the past 2 years consistently trying new bootcamps in each city. I’ve probably tried over 14 different gyms, from local places to big chains like Barry’s and F45. Dungeons and Dragons is far and away the best gym I’ve been to!
Across the board it’s got challenging workouts, community, and trainers with attention to detail.
The workouts have variety in making sure you build strength while also helping with your cardio. The classes are small and everyone is friendly and welcoming, you will get to know the people in class quickly. And Sean (+ the other trainers) will make an effort to get to know you, your fitness styles and how to get the best workout for you.

I love this gym! I’ve been training with Sean for years and I’m thrilled he opened this location just a few blocks from me. He is a great coach who will consistently motivate and challenge you to achieve your fitness goals. I’ve taken classes with other coaches here and they are just as amazing. If you’re looking for a fun, challenging and effective workout, give this place a try—you won’t regret it.

The new boutique gym on the UES, Dungeons & Dragons Strength & Conditioning, is a fabulous addition to the neighborhood. Their small format Functional Strength-Cardio classes with Sean at the helm offer a great, intense workout but with proper form, allowing you to really push yourself and not be worried about injury.

Absolutely love this gym. There really isn’t anything like this on UES. Both my children have been wanting to start strength and conditioning classes in preparation/addition to playing sports and joining this gym has been a god send. Owner Sean has tremendous amount of experience working with adults and children and I feel very confident in his ability to guide and develop my young athletes.

This gym is sooooooo incredible. I’ve never experienced better classes or personal training sessions - ever. The equipment is top notch, and the training is second to none. Workouts can be tailored to your exact needs, and the entire experience is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced at any other gym in NYC — if you have goals you want to reach, and you’re serious about them, this gym will help you reach them—and not just the gym, but the owner, Sean. Best trainer in the city, and I’m not gassing it either!

Get in on this! D&D is a game changer. Hands down, the best studio on the UES for building strength & cardio. And seeing actual results! You’ll challenge your body & mind with unique movements & equipment (refreshing!), in the company of super-knowledgeable coaches & like-minded workout partners.

Nah! Deadass the best workout I’ve had in a long time. Sean runs an amazing atmosphere and the trainer Jon. Put us through an amazing strength + cardio circuit. This is way better and more personal than just going to your local gym and getting a workout in. Definitely will be back weekly

I've been working out with Sean for almost six years. This is his newest studio and perfect for those looking for an intimate workout setting that gives big results. It's the next best thing to one-on-one training based on the size of the classes. Sean and the other coaches are highly motivating and truly care about your results. You'll also laugh at their dumb jokes of you aren't crying from squats. It also has air conditioning which can't he said about all studios in the city.

I took the Strength and Conditioning class at Dungeons & Dragons and loved it. It was the perfect mix of cardio and weights. I got a good sweat and because this is a boutique studio, there was a lot of 1:1 attention so that you get a workout that’s personalized to your specific needs. Sean will help you modify if needed or make it more challenging if you’re an advanced athlete. This is a great addition to the Upper East Side!
