After years of an on again off again relationship with exercise (mostly off), I really wanted to make it work this time around. I was looking for a way to tone and strengthen my body while learning some self defense. I came across Arjang, and not to jump the gun or anything, but I think exercise and I, we're in it for the long haul.

Every session is different, which is great. He really focuses on technique to make sure that I'm performing the exercises correctly and efficiently. The session is tailored to me. He's able to gauge my capabilities and push me further than I would go on my own. Yet the environment comfortable enough where I don't feel silly if I can't get the moves quite right on the first (or second .. or third)

I train in boxing but have always been curious about learning jiu jitsu. Arjang and I trained for 1-1.5 hours and it was great. In addition to the great physical workout he put me through , he taught me some of the most important fundamentals of jiu jitsu. In the gym, he’s extremely knowledgeable, understanding, patient, clear, and enthusiastic. You can tell he thinks deeply about his work: if the conventional approach doesn’t make sense, he’ll not only switch to something that does, but he’ll also explain the bigger why of what you’re doing. I'm among the lucky people to have had Arjang's expertise in the world of evolved fitness and mma training implemented into my life early on before he's been getting busier with more of the exposure and growing popularity that he absolutely deserves. Wolfe wasn't exaggerating in the least bit with his review, which is essentially what I'm reaffirming here. We really are talking about 1 of the best (if not thee best) when it comes to evolutionary fitness and integration into mma. If you've ever had the luxury of training with him, you'll notice he's an expert at gauging what we're capable of doing and then pushing us to our max so that we actually see and feel the changes in ourselves. He's reinvented training for me, where I now go to the gym or the park to exercise without that boring feeling like I'm just repeating the same monotonous grunting-style exercises that I (& most of us) have done the majority of our lives. He has an entire arsenal of exercises that focus on core strength & the structural integrity of our bodies; they're extremely challenging even to well versed athletes. He doesn't just go through motions, he treats each trainee as a project that he's devoted to improving. He's taken genuine interest and joy in learning about the most up to date and safe, functional ways to train so that you not only avoid injury in the process of pushing yourself but he's also simultaneously setting a blueprint for your training methodology as a lifestyle going forward.
