We absolutely love this place. My older son did karate here. Now my youngest is doing it as well and he loves it. Sensei Barry is awesome! He is passionate & funny! My son always looks foward to class... Recomend anyone to let their child try!

Great experience at this school. Sensi Barry is awesome with kids, the school is clean and class sizes are appropriate. No contract and flexible schedule's which works great for my family. Not sure what that other comment is about (infinite) that has definitely NOT been our experience. But like everything in life, go check it out for yourself!! Highly

Very unhappy with East Coast due to the lack of consistency and progress with his childrens classes but we’re stuck in a contract. There is absolutely no structure and he’s very unorganized. I don’t see anything new being taught. There is a creed that they are told to learn and they would say as class began but then it’s like he forgot about it. He very rarely starts each class on the scheduled time and doesn’t keep them later to make up for it. I’m told from others the price increases yearly and each belt test is additional fees.
He constantly yells at the kids and some moreso than others. I always thought martial arts was about respect and discipline but he doesn’t teach respect because he doesn’t give it. Also, when a new child starts all the others are back to the beginning basic skills again while he/she is taught. Can’t wait for this contract to end. Do not recommend!!!

Excellent for kids and adults. The school is family friendly and always inviting. Sensei Barry is dedicated, AMAZING with all the children and the kickboxing classes are second to none! My kids and I love it!

Sensei Barry is phenomenal! My son has learned a lot from him! He has more self confidence and focus and loves his classes! I myself, have tried his Kickboxing class as well and can tell you that he truly loves what he does whether he is with the children or with adults!

After doing my research and visiting multiple schools in the area this one by far was the best one. The owner teaches all the classes and the curriculum is both aged and rank appropriate.
