the gym's main perk is its location and convenience to folks who live nearby. The Gym is small but it's also rarely full of people. One of my main gripes of the Gym is that you can't bring a +1 along. I can understand maybe not everyday but allow it once a week or month would be nice. They also need to do more with air circulation because those fans on the ceiling might as well be decorations for how little they do.

Gym is awesome, you don’t have people posing on mirrors or holding up machines. It’s close to come and the price is decent. The only thing we dislike is that it does get hot and smelly in there during the summer, but it’s not terrible. I hope it never gets packed.

I had a free day pass and I did not expect the gym area to be so small. There isn’t much space to do your own thing. I got there around 8 when they open and it got packed pretty quickly. They did have another area behind doors that had only machines mainly for upper body some for lower body and core. Maybe for someone that just wants to do a simple workout for beginners or someone that just wants a simple nice little workout done I guess it’s fine but for bodybuilders or anyone else you can find a better place with better and more equipment. The only really nice part were the bathrooms and that’s about it.

I enjoy this gym but the cleanliness of this place is horrible. Why did I go into the locker room yesterday morning and both of the paper towel dispensers empty and the mirrors dirty? There is an odor coming from the showers and there is always toilet paper on the ground. Hire more people who know what they’re doing.

Clean. Descent equipment. Not crowded even in afternoon rush. Nice locker room areas. This is a locally owned gym, so you’re not going to get 30 color-coded treadmills in a row. But it gets the job done and the higher price ensures a nice gym experience with serious gym people. Nice stafg

The recent "remodeling" where they gave away half of the space to gymnastics school next door and then just cramped the rest of the equipment on top of each other in the space left is definitely a dealbreaker. I could live with $60 a month when it was spacious, even though it still was a bit pricey. But now will have to look for another gym.

Just moved to Hastings, NY. My son loves the Ninja obstacle course here. and I love to work out there. Super comfortable place to be. great employees. They make great shakes. Super clean and all the equipment works.

This gym is great and affordable.
Nice and helpful staff, clean, with sauna, showers and lockers avaliable. Excelent, experienced and certified personal trainers.
It has a very well equipped machines with a spacious room to have a good and not overcrowded workout. Free and available parking.
I will recommend Equalize Fitness to everyone with any evel of experience. It feels like a second family.

The gym does not care about its members. They prioritize only those paying an arm and a leg for the gymnastics and fitness courses. They close at 3 PM on weekends, which is inexcusable. Memorial day weekend, and they close at 1 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. They do the same thing on every single holiday or extended weekend. What a joke.

Hard to put into words. The people that go there, the members does it for me. If you are familiar with the sitcom "Cheers" - the members there are that kind of friendly, supportive and fun. The place is a little worn around the edges. But they keep the place super clean. I never have to scramble to get on any exercise equipment. It's certainly a non pretentious hidden gem that was recommended to me by a fellow first responder in the middle of covid. That says a lot. And they have great discounts if you are in the medical field or police of fire. Also the only place where they have a steam room and sauna. And Veronica makes the best shakes there. Oh and if you have kids they have a great Gymnastics program in the same building.

Only thing that is lacking is the hours of operation during the weekend especially for working individual like me who works on the weekend. It would be better if you extend the hours to 5pm instead of the 3pm operational hours. I believe before the covid Gym hours lasts till 5pm on weekends.

This is a great gym in many ways: the staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful; the equipment is kept in top condition; the space is open, bright, clean, and inviting; the hours are good. I hit the jackpot in working with personal trainer Diego, who is not only dedicated and smart (especially in knowing how to work with someone like me who's older and has some physical/health challenges), but really nice and easy to work with. From my first session working with Diego, I had more stamina, energy, and endurance than I've felt in years. Following his program, I keep improving. I'd go so far as to say that working with him and Equalize Fitness has been life-changing. After years of trying other gyms - and not being a real fan of gyms in general - I can say something I've never said before in my life: I love my gym!

This gym is great! I've been a member for about 2 years now, it's always clean and the workers/trainers are very friendly. They offer about 2 dozen classes per week, a cycle room, sauna, a full protein shake counter and more. I would recommend this gym to anyone. They are a bit more expensive than your franchise gym but the silver lining is that this gym is almost never packed. No waiting for machines or crowded spaces.

Decent facility with standard equipment, but nothing special. Watch out for hidden charges like a "facility improvement fee" that has no visible impact on the facility. I had to go 4 times to cancel my son's membership because they kept neglecting to put it through, and kept getting charges that they refused to remove.

My experience has been positive so far. Enrollment process was easy and everything was explained in detail. I was at another gym for 3 years and it became too crowded. This place offers more space and the sauna and steam rooms are a huge plus. Bathrooms are very clean and towel service is key. You can reward yourself with a protein shake/smoothie at the bar after your workout.

This is the best kept secret in the area. It's a little hard to find. Set back in a corporate park. When I arrived parking was easy, staff was friendly and the club was immaculate. I took a spin class and loved it. I signed up for a circus type class and can't wait to try it. Best part of about the whole experience is that owner was onsite and introduced himself. Very very friendly.
