Honestly, not sure exactly why theres still construction a year later. Whole buildings have gone up faster than they can fix this one section that blocks light from all the windows. And when you ask management, they say theres no timeline. What kind of bs luxury hospitality brand is this?

How is it acceptable for Equinox brand to mismanage the club this much? A year after my initial complaint, there is still construction, AC not working and manual fans all over . Is this the Equinox luxury experience members pay for “it’s not fitness it’s life?”

Pretty clean and nice gym. Barre instructor Emily Naim is amazing! Also love their Pilates instructor Rachel (she is on vacation so I can’t look up her last name sorry😅)!

I used to have classes with carolann Valentino (stacked) Tuesday 12:30 pm and I loved it but for some reason that coach is no longer at that time so I decided to try classes with Emily naim (EQX barre burn)… since the moment I started with her, she was kind of rude. Nothing like the other coach. I really enjoyed the other class but with Emily I didn’t feel welcome. She doesn’t know how to treat people. This gym is not cheap and the reason why I decide to be part of equinox is because of the special treatment in all of the areas. Equinox should reevaluate the idea of having a professional and kind coach. Today I took the class with her and I said hi to here and she ignored me which was okay because I thought maybe she didn’t hear me. Then she gets mad when you stop during the class and she should be aware that not all of us are at the same level as other people. Some of us need more time to adapt and also we can get tired faster. She doesn’t know if I have a condition or something. Then I was trying my best doing abs and I knew I wasn’t doing properly the workout but instead of being nice and explaining me, she decided to treat me bad and make me feel uncomfortable. I asked her for help and she said “stop the excuses” with a rude tone “you need to stop doing that, that is not what I told you to do” “why are you doing that???? Who told you to do that? I didn’t tell you “ in front of the other people.
I really hope that management take care of this situation. We are clients and we deserve respect!!

The best customer service ever! Emily Finch is super professional! I like that the gym is very close to my office and is not crowded at 4-5. It is worth every penny of its membership price

It's definitely the best location for anyone who wants to have a single access membership at Equinox in the midtown area.

It's clean, somewhat spacious and a nice gym to workout. Although it can get crowded, you won't have to wait to use an equipment.

The one bad thing is that they're closed during the weekends. I'm not sure if they're going to open back up during the weekends but definitely keep that in mind.

The location is clean, well attended, and I’ve always had the equipment I wanted when I wanted it — I’ve never been waiting for others to finish.

And, they’ve got excellent trainers — if you get a chance, ask for Josh and Joaquin. They are some of the most knowledgeable and skilled trainers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

Barebones. Didnt have the luxury feel of most Equinox gyms.
Gets the job done. The locker rooms look better than the actual gym.

Staff walked all around the gym, I was greeted or approached by no-one.

The elevator is SLOOOOW ... like I didnt even know I was moving. But thats on me for taking the elevator at the gym I guess LOL.

Gets the job done in a pinch for the finance bros, but not for me.

This equinox is really nice and not too crowded. The gym is narrow and on four floors, so you'll be doing a lot of stairs - but c'est la vie. Locker rooms are in the basement, and then you have the registration desk on the ground floor and the spa on the first floor, so it's a bit of a hike to get to the gyms, but I can't imagine another configuration. locker rooms can get crowded, but it's kept very clean. machines are in good order, and the lines to use weights are light to non existent. I can always find a machine to work on.

Excellent facility, great staff. Would warrant 5 stars, except . . . there is often no hot water and sometimes the water doesn't run at all. And no ETA for the fix.
