How lucky am I?! Last July I found Edward Jackowski's book, Escape Your Shape - How to Work Smarter, Not Harder. I reached out and have been blessed with virtual workouts with Edward that have increased my strength, flexibility, and more important to me, my aerobic capacity.
Not bad, at 81 years old to be getting in better shape - and it's only been a few months, working with Edward twice a week. More than just working out, is learning how and why we do certain exercises! Would you believe I am also jumping rope, having decreased pain in my knees - and loving it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR AN EFFECTIVE, INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH FOR AGING SAFELY, WISELY, AND WELL!

I started searching for physical trainers with experience and I found Edward Jackowski from Exude Fitness.  I have had injuries to my neck and ankle in the past so I was very nervous about exercising. Edward is extremely knowledgeable, and not just about exercise but about human behaviors, he has so much experience, he is patient, understanding and friendly. We started working together over zoom once a week and after 6 months of working together, I am doing exercises that I never thought I could do with such ease, I am so much stronger and I am so thankful to Edward and Exude Fitness.  Edward is extremely motivational, he understands the mental aspect as well as physical aspect of training and pushes me to improve myself.  I would recommend Exude Fitness to anyone looking for a personal trainer to improve their body, mind and overall well being.

Thank you to Edward Jackowski!
Two and a half years ago I sent Edward an email on a whim. My husband had read and followed his book “Hold It! you’re exercising wrong” over 25 years ago and I was reaching out to see if Edward was still working with individuals. I will always remember getting the phone call while I was sitting outside a store in St. Augustine, Florida. I was nervous at the prospect of meeting with this gentleman whose reputation loomed so large in my mind. Well, Edward called and talked to me and my husband about what he could do for us in terms of getting in better shape and put my mind as ease. We set up a program and began this incredible journey together.
Fast forward to now and let me just say that I am achieving more than I ever thought possible. I am still a 62-year-old woman, but physically, I am so much more fit that I thought I could ever be.
Edward has put a program together that challenges me without asking more than I can do. There are some days that I have bundles of energy and we work hard and then some days that I am worn out and we work to my ability, but I am always progressing. I am always in such a better frame of mind when I am finished, and I feel so much better.
We finally got a chance to meet in person when my husband and I were up in NYC visiting our daughter. It felt like we were meeting with an old friend instead of meeting in person for the first time.
I am ready to start 2024 and looking forward to achieving the goals that we have set for me for this year. Thank you, Edward, for guiding me along this journey that I never would have been able to do on my own.

I was introduced to Exude by a friend who had success with them as well over 30 years ago before getting married. I have, since had numerous trainers over the years. However, for the last 15 years, I have been working with Exude off and on, I am more fit and in better shape today in my 50’s then when I was in my 30’s…No more heavy weights, achy knees and joints, and bulky arms!!!I have gone from 175 lbs. down to 130 lbs., and have maintained my weight now with no problem. The Exude body type program is safe and efficient and I only need to workout now 3 hours a week to maintain my body and my health. My blood work could not be better! My blood pressure is low, standing heart rate is great and I am fit throughout my body. No 4 children later, I am still EXUDING!! My first experience with Edward Jackowski, Ph.D. was in 1996. I had been a distance runner since 1976 and knew the benefits of exercise for professional development but my current job found me working for a triathlete. I needed to raise my game. More importantly, I needed quick, effective, and trustworthy advice that I could learn in a weekend and practice without driving to a health club or buying expensive equipment.

Enter Edward’s book, ‘Hold it! you’re exercising wrong,’ first published in 1995. This manageable program became my primary exercise guide through 27 years of life changes. In 2021, my wife and I discovered Edward was offering fitness training via Zoom and we signed-up. He made adjustments in my routine for the typical realities of aging but my plan is still done at home, one hour per workout and flexible to fit my schedule.

In the words of my general physician, Edward Jackowski “walks the walk.”

Though I learned of Exude's prowess years ago, having seen their infomercial & buying their workout videos... I kept recognizing the validity of their unique approach, pairing body types to specific exercises - which helped me make better, more intelligent workout choices.

Years later, inspired by Covid's "everything-can-be-virtual," I sought out Exude for an online engagement, and have worked weekly with their trainer over the past year.

I found their "in-person, online" method, all-at-once accommodating: kind, flexible, cogent, and highly customized, employing the "good type" of crafty: encouraging me to regularly surpass my own boundaries.

Sparing you my specific metrics, I'm now far from what I could accomplish merely on my own... and developing strengths & increased cardio/aerobic capacity - working with my trainer, and between sessions, all at home and with my own simplistic equipment.

Exude's impact has extended further to include fitness training for my wife and 93yo mother, each getting an Exude individualized prescription... you might imagine the powerful support, inspiration, and exponential effect enjoyed by our entire household.

When I first connected with Exude and Edward, I was having trouble with my fitness, weight and diet. Then I got engaged and suddenly my wedding date was in just over a year. I was with Exude two years ago but I couldnt stick with it, knowing that the program is effective I returned with determination, this is my third week and I am already one size smaller. I am writing this review not just because the program works, it is also because Edward and his team are really great, you can really feel their passion and they go out of the way to help their clients, very encouraging and they take questions seriously and take time to create a personalized program for you. I am mostly with David, he's just soooooooo great, very encouraging, helpful, and full of positive energy. Apart from showing me how to work out properly, he also shares with me so much knowledge about eating clean and how our body functions. Exude fitness has changed my life! After trying everything from workout DVD’s, trainers, and working out on my own, I never got the results that I was hoping for. I came across Exude online a few months ago and it has been the first program I have ever done that I have not only seen results but maintained results. Once the program was catered specifically to my body type, the pounds just melted off!

I started Exude Fitness after reading a Huffington Post article and it was quite a wake-up call to me. Yes, I did Soul Cycle, SLT, Yoga and interval running every week. And, I couldn't lose weight. Although being physically fit is important, the rewards of losing some fat and toning up were just as important to me - and I was getting neither of those results with my regimen. I emailed Edward right away after the article and met with him 2 days later. He gave me a work out plan that was totally doable. So I gave up my existing workout and went for it. And guess what, 6 weeks later I am down 8lbs and 10+ inches off my body. WOW.. I never had results like that. I am continuing to work with the body type fitness prescribed to me because I want to keep going and I am feeling totally motivated for the first time because seeing those types of results is extremely rewarding.
