This gym is so amazing! ✨️ they have a variety of class times so I can attend whenever I want to. Also, their trainers are THE BEST! They make sure your form is correct. They help you with adjustments if you have injuries and limitations. If you're thinking about trying it, just do it! I tried it once and I never left since then! 5 stars isn’t enough! The trainers here genuinely care about you—not just your progress, but your overall well-being. They take the time to get to know your needs and always offer modifications so that every workout feels approachable, but still challenging. The exercises are practical and designed to help you move and feel better in everyday life.
What I love most is that the trainers push me to give my best effort without ever going past what’s safe for me. The atmosphere is supportive and motivating, which makes me feel more at ease here than at any other gym I’ve tried.

I have been doing SWEAT group fitness classes with Fitness Artist for the past two months. In June 2024, I had ACL reconstructive surgery, and my recovery was a long journey. I joined FA during the final weeks of my physical therapy, and from day one the trainers, Heather, Rock, and Rachel, have been incredible. They work with me around my injury, offering smart modifications when needed, and they always check in, especially on lower-body days. They push me to improve, but never in a way that risks my recovery. It is clear they truly care about their members and put a lot of thought into every workout plan.
One of the things I love most about FA is the variety of equipment they use that many other group fitness gyms lack. From barbells and landmines to hex bars and more, their setup allows for dynamic, effective workouts.
I have been injured at other group fitness gyms in the past, but FA’s programming is different. Every movement is intentional, with an emphasis on proper lifting, building strength, and incorporating conditioning, not just jumping for the sake of jumping.
I live in Niskayuna and happily drive 25 minutes to train here because there is truly no other gym like it. I have done my research and FA is one of a kind.

Fitness Artist is a place that I have seen results in the last 4 months that I didn’t see in the last 4 years ! I’m able to be an athlete whose needs are met with appropriate functional movements based on my body’s needs and my own goals.
I’m thankful for modifications that aren’t the same mundane modification , or watered down excersise but they are creative and help to build strength in a safe way !

I joined Fitness Artist earlier this year after a co-worker suggested I try it out. Not only am I looking and feeling exponentially better but have also had the gift of joining a fitness community that I have found to be incredibly supportive, nurturing, and engaging. For me- as a single parent I have struggled in the past to be able to commit to my fitness goals because of lack of child care. Fitness Artist has (hands down) the best and most reliable child care of any gym I've ever attended. The class schedule is highly accommodating so if I have something come up with work there are a ton of options too.
As someone with a few athletic injuries (golfers elbow, rotator cuff etc) I can also attest to the thoughtful modifications that the trainers suggest. I always leave feeling like I got a great workout! My body is doing things I would have only dreamed about 6 months ago. I could obviously go on. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend!!

I started working out at Fitness Artist about 3 months ago after about 2 1/2 years at another gym. I can honestly say I have never felt better and look forward to going. I no longer have joint and muscle pain I struggled with, and my range of motion and strength have both improved more in 3 months than they did in the past 2 1/2 years. The trainers are unsurpassed, with a healthy mix of helping you modify exercises when needed and pushing you when needed. The workouts are varied and fun, and the members are friendly and supportive. There is no retail or nutritional products for sale so there is no upselling and the focus is where it should be - on providing the most efficient and effective workouts. The gym is also very clean and all the members help wipe down the equipment after each class. I’m 66 years old so strength training is particularly important to me, but I feel a lot younger, thanks to Fitness Artist

I recently joined Fitness Artist after a few years of working out at home. I had 3 children in 2 years in 2020 & 2022 and I’m slowly building back my core and overall strength. Rock and Heather are so knowledgeable, helpful and inspiring in the SWEAT classes. You can tell that the fitness artist programming is done by truly knowledgeable professionals. Even better, they offer child watch services so I can exercise while my kids play which is HUGE for me. Now I don’t have to squish my workout and 20 other things into their afternoon nap time 😍. I am truly so grateful for discovering this gym!

I was a long time member at 2 other gyms prior to trying Fitness Artist. I tried it once and knew it was special. I have been going there since May and I feel amazing. I struggled with some hip issues and since making the switch I am working out differently and I feel better than ever. The trainers are experienced and knowledgeable!
We work hard and we have fun at the same time!

I have been going to Fitness Artist for just over 1 year now, and I would like to say that I am extremely satisfied with my experience.
I regularly attend the 5am Sweat classes Monday- Friday because they are the only ones that fit my busy life. Krisinda is our instructor, and she has helped me transform my body. Her workouts are always a challenge, and she offers a variety that keeps the classes fresh. She offers quality instruction to those of us that don't know the moves for the workouts we do.
The facility is always clean, and the equipment available to work out with is excellent. The price to join is also very reasonable when compared to similar gyms. I have no plans of stopping my membership. My before and after pictures are posted on their Facebook page. Results come with hard work, and you will get them if you join the Fitness Artist Family and you push yourself to improve like I have.

I love this place.
Normally I am NOT the person who is the most athletic and enjoys going to the gym. Usually I will get bored and discouraged. But this is the first and only place where I actually look forward to attending and have been going pretty consistently. A lot of gyms can be really cold and unwelcoming, but this place is super approachable.

Fitness Artist in Clifton Park is not your typical gym! The owner, Travis Gil, along with all the other trainers at Fitness Artist focus on our total body health.
Our trainers know us; they are conscious of our fitness goals, strengths, weaknesses and with that, they strive to provide a workout that meets those needs.
During this time of COVID, the Fitness Artist team has gone above and beyond to provide a consistent workout to their members. When we couldn't be outside working out together, we were online encouraging each other to crush our goals!

Highly recommend Jared at The Fitness Artist. A true professional, extremely knowledgeable, and highly motivating!! Gifted my daughter with personal sculpt and sweat classes this summer and she absolutely loved it. As a college athlete, it not only allowed her to stay fit during the off season, but pushed her to get stronger before heading back to college. Jared was also sensitive to plan the training program around her nagging injury, modifying movements that caused pain and worked with her PT to develop an individualized training program.

It has been a quite few years since I last worked out and really wanted to try and get back into some type of shape. At 52 years old, I was a little hesitant to sign up for classes with a trainer. I decided to sign up for the 6 week challenge offered by the Fitness Artist. I am so GLAD I did!! It was AWESOME!!! The trainer that conducted the classes I attended, Darren, did a GREAT job! He gave everyone the individual instruction needed & was always ENCOURAGING! He made me feel good about what I doing & how I was doing it. He was just FANTASTIC! I am so happy and thankful to have discovered Fitness Artist! I started training with Carly about three months ago, right after the birth of my second son. The workouts that she designs are so creative and tailored to me. She takes the time to work on my form to maximize every move. Carly is so friendly, encouraging and the best accountability I could ever ask for! I used to go to the gym just for the treadmill and wondered why my body wasn’t changing. It’s transformed so much already thanks to the 30 minute training sessions and classes! I take classes with Kayla who is incredible! Her workouts are designed to challenge everyone. She takes the time to make sure we know how to do the exercises and we are having a great time! Her morning classes give me energy all day to keep up with my two little boys and she is so motivating! I never expected to lose the baby weight so quickly and feel so strong. Every trainer there is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Fitness Artist has been the best thing I have done for myself as a mom and I recommend it to absolutely everyone!

The Fitness Artist SWEAT program is an awesome way to work toward personal fitness goals. As a 50 something female I needed to find a program that included strength training as well as cardio. I am very pleased with my personal results. This is a program that I have done for over a year. The scheduling and trainers at both the Clifton Park and Loudenville locations are perfect. I work full time and can always find a class that fits into my schedule.

I have been going to Fitness Artist for a little over a year now. My personal trainer had just moved away and had recommended the owner at FA as someone trustworthy and who knew what he was doing. He was right! Travis was helpful, encouraging, and had an approach that I was very happy with after a not-so-great experience at another small local gym. I have been actively taking advantage of the group classes offered at FA and have been beyond happy. The people participating in classes are friendly, the facility in Clifton Park has been expanded and is incredible, and the trainers are amazing. Darren, Carly, and Travis are motivating, encouraging, and know how to provide a just-right challenge. They are attentive and make sure you are doing the exercises safely and they make it so fun! Bonus: there are other types of workout classes in Loudonville (yoga, barre, etc.) which are great to supplement (or fulfill!) your workout routine. Please, please check out Fitness Artist if you are looking for a fitness environment that cares about you! They will help you meet your goals!

I’ve been training at Fitness Artist for over a year now and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience and the results I achieved!
I take the SWEAT class 3-5 days a week and it’s phenomenal. I’m gaining strength, burning about 300 calories a workout, and improving flexibility all in 1 hour!
The workouts are always different so they never get repetitive. I’m performing many exercises that are new to me and I love it!
I strongly recommend this program for anyone who is looking for a fresh start, trying to break through a plateau, or wants the maximum benefit from a 1 hour workout.

I joined Fitness Artist a few years ago, at the time I was living in the city but each time I came home I made sure to fit in class. Each class was a challenge and really mixed up my workout routine. I have since moved back up here and joined Darren's S.W.E.A.T class on Saturday mornings. I never get sick or bored of the same old workout because it is always something new and fresh. He raises the bar week after week and I feel motivated to complete the class to the best of my ability. Unfortunately, I can't make it to multiple classes a week like I would prefer but the beauty of Fitness Artist is that you are given the tools to incorporate all the cirquits into your personal workout routines at home. I also completed the Mommy and Me program with Nora. I love how Fitness Artist has something for all of their clients. After giving birth to my son, I was ready to shed the pregnancy weight and gain my strength back. I have since lost 40 lbs but most importantly, I feel stronger then I have in a while and I have the energy to chase around my son now that he is on the move!

I have been working with the Fitness Artist team for a few years now. Most recently I have been working with Fitness Artist trainer, Taylor, at their Latham location. Taylor is beyond patient & so down to earth, it's like working out with your friend. Your friend who wants the best for you and always knows when & how to give that extra push when needed. I have always struggled with my weight, always wanting to shred those extra 10lbs, Fitness Artist is perfect for holding you accountable and helping you achieve your goals. Even the days you don't want to work out, you look forward to going. The regular gym scene gets very boring to me and I recommend this atmosphere to anyone, whether your new to the work-out scene or a fitness buff.
