I love this place! I have practiced Pilates for about 4 years. Sometimes when I try new studios I just don’t vibe with them, I feel like the classes aren’t effective. That is never the case here! The instructors are amazing and every class is adaptive, different, and a challenge. I have taken classes with Catherine & Bailey. I really enjoy Bailey’s Pilates strength class, it’s my favorite. I find it really effective for keeping me strong while I train during marathon season.

I've been a loyal patron to the Bed Stuy Flow Pilates location since it opened, and it is a vital part of my week. There have been and currently are so many high-quality instructors, and the classes have been leveling up as all of the Flow community gets stronger and stronger. I love being able to get such a holistic workout just a few blocks from home in a chill, come-as-you are atmosphere. Huge, huge fan of this studio!

Tbh I hated Pilates until I started going to Flow. Every instructor I’ve encountered here is kind, knowledgeable, and skilled at crafting challenging programming that is effective, makes sequential sense, and feels good on the body even when it’s difficult. Special shout out to Sierra who has helped me build deep core strength and stability in my hypermobile joints. I’m now lifting heavier weights and sustaining faster cycling tempos, thanks in large part to her classes!

I've been a pilates convert for about 5 years now and every teacher at Flow has been CRUSHING it. They offer many levels / options for each class, are encouraging, and challenge you as you grow. Everyone I've taken classes from has been so friendly and encouraging as I've worked through a back and ankle injury, I genuinely think I'll never go to another studio again.
A special shoutout to Brit, Sierra, and Syndney for how much I've grown in my mind / body connection since attending their classes!

Flow has the most dynamic classes I’ve ever experienced at a Pilates studio. The instructors are always mixing it up so you never get bored!

Excellent classes. Newly added strength classes are a must if you are looking to build muscle. Caring teachers, cute space, clean machines, good music. I have been coming here for years and highly recommend.

This place is really not clean. After I went first time I thought perhaps it was just a that the cleaning was just forgotten, but came back again and it was the same which is why I put a review on it.
There seems to be no one cleaning the floor or the machines (or the bathroom) daily. There is hair on the machines and small bugs on the floor, everywhere. Also the smell in the bathroom, I know they got a leak going on but they could put a candle on or something to make it better..

Hands down, best Pilates studio in Brooklyn and probably NYC. Michelle P is always super friendly, checks in on our bodies, and very motivating. As someone with a physical disability, she’s extremely accommodating and provides modifications. The spaces in both Clinton hill and Bed Stuy are clean and open. Katherine at the front desk is super friendly and welcoming to all members. Diverse staff and members making it very open and comfortable. Can’t recommend enough

I have never done pilates before and chose Flow because it looks really nice but also professional. Since I joined everyone has been friendly and patient so I can learn at my pace. The professors I have worked with are amazing and I dare say I am now hooked on pilates, which is great as I have a shoulder tear and it also helps me strengthen and heal my injury.

I love the classes. The instructors have been helpful with form and provide different workouts which are great. How I wish it was bigger, literally 5 -6 places. Great while in class, yet sucks when you're trying to book ahead of schedule.

I love this studio. My spouse and I have been doing duet sessions with Cate (virtually and the in-studio) and she is definitely one of the best teachers we have ever trained with. She has a great awareness of the human form, is highly knowledgeable and keeps classes interesting.

If you are young with a perfect “yoga body” this “boutique”‘Pilates studio could be a good place for you to take classes. But if you have any injuries or physical limitations they are not set up to be supportive, understanding or accommodate you. I was very disappointed in the end including with how the owner handled things. On the upside, after leaving Flow I discovered Iyengar yoga which has been amazing — rigorous, supportive, and very body positive. So it’s all about finding the right place for you. Flow was definitely not the right place for me!!

I've been going to Flow for a year and a half and it's one of my favorite studios. Classes are fun (as fun as pilates can be...) and there is so much opportunity to learn new skills and truly open your mind and body to pilates. Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and know how to give a good challenge. The new Clinton Hill studio is also beautiful! I recommend to anyone looking for a local studio.

I love Pilates, but this place is not ideal for a beginner. They don't cater to all, and the owner is curt/cold/unwelcoming 😒. Spend your money elsewhere. ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 #buyblack #gentrificationATitsWORST #FITin_IS_better

I cannot recommend this studio highly enough, particularly for those currently pre or postnatal. I attended pre/postnatal classes (private and group) throughout pregnancy (up to 40 weeks), returning shortly after the birth of my son by c-section (once cleared for exercise by my OB). The instructors are very experienced, friendly yet professional, and confident in providing a *challenging* work-out tailored carefully to the pre or postnatal body, which really sets this studio (specifically the pre/postnatal class series) apart from the crowd. Now 10 weeks post-partum, I almost have my pre-pregnancy figure back - which is testament to the bespoke attention I received at this studio throughout pregnancy and beyond in the care of instructors with a true understanding of pre and postnatal physiology.
