I've been a client at Form since 2021 and it has changed my life. This is a community. A space where you get stronger, push yourself, celebrate the wins. I would not go anywhere else. Heck, even if I moved across the country, I'd find a way to train at Form and with Francine.

I bought a ten session pack awhile back and I was disappointed. My trainer was nice, but she regularly cut our sessions short by a few minutes, and I didn’t feel comfortable to say anything. I don’t feel like she really listened to my goals for the ten sessions we worked together. The gym is small, which I thought would be nice, but on more than one occasion I had to listen to other clients talk loudly about politics and their personal life, which was distracting and a bummer.

I had left my initial review of Form several years ago, when I’d been going for about 3 months. It was my first strength training gym experience and I’d left 5 stars, with my original review primarily going on about how amazingly great my trainer was there. I ended up being there 2.5 years and then intermittently for a bit as I traveled a lot.

Speaking with others who use trainers at similar gyms, talking with other clients at Form, and personal experience expanding beyond the few months of my original review radically changed my thoughts on the Form experience (every aspect outside my trainer, which I remain very grateful I found through Form).

The marketing of it being ‘inclusive’ is highly debatable/contrived - while they do welcome people of all genders/sizes/ages/every other diverse adjective, that doesn’t guarantee they’re treating everyone with respect or even basic politeness. I’d been going 3x a week in-person for 2 years - the owners/that specific crew would barely acknowledge me, even if it was just me walking in between clients/while they’d just been hanging out. It just felt odd in addition to rude and unprofessional. Isn’t that basic human decency to acknowledge someone? Especially when you’re owners and, as such, may want to try being welcoming or at least show superficial friendliness. Primary trainers/owners give off weird cliquey mean girl energy as well (unless you’re one of their clients maybe?).

Several of the primary trainers would express blatant passive aggressiveness (at times just aggressiveness) towards my trainer while we were in a session. Not to sound like a broken record, but these instances were uncomfortable, awkward, and unprofessional. What a wild choice to be so openly unpleasant to a trainer *while* they’re in the midst of training a client.

tl;dr: vibes and toxic energy. unprofessionalism and rudeness. If I hadn’t adored my trainer I wouldn’t have went there beyond a 5 pack max and then likely given up on personal strength training altogether.

2 stars instead of 1 solely because Form introduced me to a trainer who’s everything and more I didn’t even realize I needed from a trainer 🙌

To potential clients, def check it out if it speaks to you, just be mindful my experience is in no way unique.
To those mentioned above, none of this can come as a surprise but assuming defensiveness will be the only takeaway over self reflection but one can hope 🙏

I have been coming here for 2 years. Morit is great - she'll push you even when you don't want it but definitely need it. I've trained with a few other trainers at the studio when Morit goes on vacation - everyone provides excellent service! The studio is clean, lively and so encouraging. Their group classes are also a nice way to get an introduction to the studio and fitness overall if you are a beginner. I wish FORM nothing but success!

I have been with FF since the beginning because my trainer is the absolute best. Francine took me on after a traumatic life event that left me broken and feeling defeated, she continues to be uplifting when I feel like I can't, she helps me remember that I can. Starting me on 5 lb weights and floor work years ago, I have become a person confident in myself and working on the goal of lifting more everyday as I grow emotionally and restore my physical life back to a good setting. The environment is very warm and welcoming, even when you have to do planks or push ups. With all of these years of working out my body, she helped me build my inner confidence that I can accomplish great things.

I've been working with Chloe at Form Fitness for almost a year, and it's not an exaggeration to say that working out with her has changed my life. I went from never having lifted weights and not being motivated to work out to loving power lifting and looking forward to every session. Chloe is such a talented coach. She is always attentive to my form and progress to make sure I am lifting safely and getting the most out of every workout.

Love Form Fitness! I’ve been seeing Chloe for over 6 months. I came to her postpartum to help get my body back into shape - not only is her energy amazing (and she’s super knowledgeable and a super mom herslef) but she’s also been so incredibly helpful in helping me develop strength post baby and also take pride in my new body and what it can do for me. The entire team at Form Fitness is so nice and welcoming and coming for my weekly sessions is such a treat. Always the best vibe and even better results!

I never thought I'd be a person who looks forward to the gym, but 1 year into training with Chloe at FORM that's actually happened. I can count on a workout that pushes me - and lets me brag about how much I can squat now - as well as laughter, good music, and maybe a little venting therapy. FORM is such a great atmosphere and I always leave feeling better than I did when I walked in.

I am so grateful I found Form and Francine when searching for a personal trainer. The thoughtful approach behind owners Morit and Francine creates an environment free of judgement and one where clients can truly reach goals with individualized plans. Francine’s knowledge is incomparable and has allowed my own confidence in strength training to deepen. I appreciate Francine’s “training for life” mentality and have gained a balanced and sustainable lifelong relationship with movement. I’ve been training at FormFitness for more than two years now and I can’t recommend this gym enough.
The team created a welcoming and inclusive space.
My trainer (Francine) is wonderful: super professional, high level of expertise, caring and an amazing teacher (especially for someone like me who is new to the world of fitness).

The facility is clean and offers all the necessary equipment to have a great session with a personal trainer. The trainers here are excellent, specifically Francine. She has the highest level of expertise in healing the body through fitness and works to effectively and progressively building strength, flexibility, and balance.

The trainers at Form Fitness are the gold standard. Every trainer in there is so proficient in what can work for your body and they make it their mission to create a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. They will make adjustments for ANY BODY. As someone who has worked out with trainers at most of the major gyms around NYC (Equinox, Crunch, NYSC, etc) and not committing to any of them in the past, I can tell you that Form Fitness is different. They’re not trying to sell you something you don’t need or force you into doing anything you don’t feel comfortable with. They care about your goals, and work with you to create an action plan for how to get you there. They care about their craft, about you as a person, and are some of the most compassionate people I’ve met. Also everyone who works out there is dope + fun. Go there - I have nothing but glowing things to say after going to Morit for 1.5 years and to Form Fitness since they opened!

I really like this gym. Over the years I worked out at the big gyms but never felt really comfortable. I can get a great workout and not feel like I'm competing in a contest with others for how I look (my workout clothes, body etc.. ) I love how strong I am feeling now. I also enjoy their workshops and would like to get to more of them. I never worked with a trainer before and having met the Form Fitness trainers, I'm now excited to work out, learn how to work out and feel so much more in shape. I am really glad to be part of this great gym.
